Not quite, it helps link nul zones to me, so i might drain energy when combined with other external spells.
I'm not quite sure on that last part, but it might do that.

It's a negative crystal. I use it for muti-use quick spells, so i don't have to set up a diagram, and storing excess energy.
It's also part of how i use nul zones.

I was going to see if I or one of my predecessors could make up a spell for you so you could transform on the fly. *frowns* Although, if I created a spell battery and made a transformer for your magical energy form into the Equestrian form, I might still be able to do that... I can see that. I can do almost everything I usually do with all of my forms, because I mostly use magic-based defence and attack, but I can actually process several different things at the same time. Transformation only takes a little bit of that focus.

That's lucky. If i was using a compleate transformation spell, it'd take me a few minutes to switch forms.

I really didn't want to have to take a moment to get back to normal, so having it be meta-physical and self controlled is useful.
