Yeah @Dawnscroll, he's right, just fix that little thing, add a bio for Lord Stark, then you can get posting!

Fixed it just now, and I'll add the bio the day after tmmrw. Christmas Eve and all that jazz. Otherwise, any thoughts and opinions?

Also, we're going with the assumption that all Stark family has a Direwolf, they set up like, a pedigree breeding program or something.
So, @Dawnscroll are you working on a CS? Just wondering, no rushing or anything.

Character Sheet is up! A few things are still WIP, but this should be enough... for now. See any issues? Will fill in all blanks day after tmmrw.

The Wolves have entered the game, just in time to see an Octopus try to climb onto land. It'll be an easy meal...
Then I'll burn your brothers alive. Then I'll have your daughter raped by every man in my army, have your bastards hung from the rocks of the iron islands and then grind you're castles to dust.
Forgot to add that

I just can't wait to start showing Tyget's planw... cause they aren't as si please as they seem right now ;), also OTHER than wealth what are the westerlands known for?

They're known for extremely skilled armorers and craftsmen. The Westerlands are highly resource rich (not just the gold of Lannisters- there's other mines). The Westerlands were also known, while having smallers numbers, having superior trained troops to the rest of the Seven Kingdoms, with their only rivals (in military matters) being the North. They were sort of stupidly op when you think about it. Them and the Tyrells

North's benefits were military mindset, a huge freaking expanse, and vast untapped naturally resources. Downside: less dense population, frigid winter, a stupid sense of honor, and a tendency to lose their heads over things.

Vale: HEAVY Armored Knights and calvary, little in the way of light militia. Natural defensible terrain, and decent port cities. Problems: Remnants of the First Men being causing constant unrest as the hilltribes, raiding villages and traders. VERY little farmland.
@Dawnscroll None, except that Tyron Lannister's father was killed by the Boltons, so they'd have to be removed recently.

Right. Roose and Ramsay got exterminated hard, and the title of Bolton passed to a more "Minor" Bolton house, who hopefully learned their lesson from the Wolves. The fact that they're still being allowed to do their flaying means has to imply some sort of knowledge, and condoning, by the Starks.

Point is, I think after the close-extermination in the War of the Five Kings, the Starks have sort of revised their motto. Winter Is Coming - AKA Shit will hit the fan. They've sort of turned into a very defensive, very close to the chest sort of House. The "doomsday" preparedness sort of House.

Which means we've finally gotten our heads out asses... heck, our motto isn't "As High as Honor".
*grumbles to himself as he dons the Stark Banner*

I get some concessions for this suicide move. In the few centuries since game of thrones, the Boltons have been removed, forcibly, from the Dreadfort and given to a House that will not backstab me like a mofo. The Wolfswood has been considerably reduced in size in an effort to rebuild the North and to ensure a naval presence on both sides of the continent.

And under no circumstance will my Lord take any offers to be Hand of the King, move to Kingslanding, refuse to play the game of Thrones, or attend any weddings without an armed contingent nearby.

WE LEARNED OUR LESSON THE LAST TIME. These concessions are all common sense sort of things, that based on our history, the House Stark should hold to its very FREAKING beliefs (considering we were almost wiped off the map).

Any issue with this?
@Dawnscroll

I'd say a host'd be around 50 thousand, though they'd meet up slowly

Starks descend from Rickon.

You totally could.

Thanks! I tried!

Heh, sweet!

Though I suppose the Ultimate question is... what does this RP need the most? I know you guys need a North player, but DAMN that Greyjoy strategem is scary. Kingbeyond the Wall is still open, and I would love play a horde, and I've always loved the Wildling Culture and theme, but my concern is little contact with the other players. A mercenary group is redundant in a game like that, but it would ensure contact, even if I had much smaller numbers than everyone else.

Point blank, willing to play anything you need me too. Just wanted to share my thoughts... now excuse me while I stare angrily at a map of westeros and try to wipe out the Greyjoys.

Thoughts?
<Snipped quote by bluetommy2>

Why thank you! I'm banking on someone taking the North or it could get very difficult to think of what to put in my posts...

Edit: WELL, I already screwed up by quoting the wrong person in this, so hopefully Bluetommy see's this....

So, this RP definitely looks like my cup of tea. In ways you would not believe! Couple of questions though...

How trully big of a host would a King of the True North (Not that measley patch of ground just south of the Wall) would have? I ask, because during Mance's time, he had assembled a host of 100,000 wildlings NOT including noncombatants. Forces included Mammoths, Giants, and Wargs. Its a couple hundred years later, and I expect the majority of Mance's forces got wiped out, but its STILL a few centuries (If we're going by show events, not book events) for them to rebreed. So what would be reasonable?

Is the Stark bloodline descended from Rickon or Sansa? I know that the Stark's are available for play and they're definately something for me to consider... but yeah, just looking to know where I stand with the Boltons.

Finally, since Essoi characters are allowed... if we wanted to do a Mercenary COmmander, like say, the Ragged Prince or Bloodbeard, would such a character sheet be akin to King beyond the wall? Host, but no seat of power?

Can't wait to throw my hat into the ring and be apart of this! This looks AMAZING.
The holiday season at the end of the year is always a particularly busy time for people, so it shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone that things have slowed down. It may be sad to see things grind to a halt, but that's what late December is like.

@Dawnscroll - Maybe people would be more inclined to keep you in the loop if you didn't sound like such a self-entitled asshat when you make update posts. Raven is obviously stretched thin at the moment, and the end of the year is calling, so slow responses are going to be the norm. I appreciate that it is difficult for you to have written such a large post and to have gotten nothing back, but Raven /physically cannot/ match what you're doing and still keep pace with everyone else.

Chill dafuq out.

He will get to you with what he can, when he can. It may not be pleasant to have to wait when some people have already gotten posts and you haven't, but coming across as you have will not make things go any more quickly or compel anyone to write any more quickly for you.

Actually, no. It's not right.

You know what? What I wanted was the same thing that Jacaerys and Zhan got. A note that said 'nothing we can do at the moment, ball is back in your court'. SOMETHING . hell, the rest of you guys got at least a paragraph, at least a few sentences to work with.

I got diddly.

That note would required zero effort. I haven't been on is case daily. I waited five days since his last response before pressing the issue, and I waited another few days before making my second comment. LONG before the holiday season. Is that unreasonable? Am I not a player like the rest of you, deserving of the same courtesy?

It would take one minute of work for a note telling me to keep working working. Five minutes for the mediocre paragraph many of you got. Less time to ask me to leave this RP, since as you put it, I'm such an asshat for wanting the same level of respect as the other player.

All of which, I'm okay with. Because it shows some level of freakin' respect, that I wasn't ignored, and that allows me to move forward with this RP, one way or another. Holiday season is no excuse from what asking: which frankly, isn't anything much. The rest of you got it immedietly, I'm just asking for mine now after having waited for almost two weeks. And that's a mention of SOMETHING.
