Morito considered the situation very carefully, despite more or less pretending to hide behind others at all the strange displays and powers he'd witnessed shortly before. The good news seemed to be that he was guaranteed a way home no matter what happened here, and really that was his most important goal at the moment. After all, he was a bodyguard who would protect his charge no matter what! Or at least that was what he had promised to be before all of this started. A little thing like being trapped in a strange dimension to play games for an ancient, dying deity wouldn't stop him from keeping that promise in the slightest, as anyone who got in the way of that would find out, the hard way.

As for a wish well...Morito really wasn't sure. He hated to admit it, but he was more the type of person who wanted to make the world better with his own hands, and the Viewer definitely did mention that wishing was dangerous business, as any magic-based exchange of power seemed to be in Morito's experience. It would probably be better and safer just to fight long enough to get home and let someone else have the wish. Preferably not the evil spacelord or the Lich, but somebody else not-totally-evil or selfish.

Thus, when Morito wailed "I'll play..b-but...I-I just wanna go home!~" while in (fake) fear for his life, he actually meant it, though with entirely different emotions.
Roland pointed a finger of his own in response to Alex's accusations against him regarding his heroic message to the entire student body. Didn't he know that this sort of thing was his job as a hero?!

"HOLD IT! I didn't do anything to start any fights at all! I was only challenging any evil people or criminal elements in the school, y'know! If they responded they'd have to be evil or a criminal, so I'm just doing my job as a member of the security team like I'm supposed to be doing!" Suddenly Roland paused as if struggling with deep thought and trying to get to a difficult conclusion. After a few moments his eyes suddenly blazed with an inner mental fire, though smoke was just as likely to come pouring out of his ears as a result "Waiiiiiit just a second! YOU responded to my challenge against criminals and evildoers to face me, and you abandoned your job for the security team so that must mean...You're secretly a criminal evildoer! TAKE THAT!"

Roland was reeling from this sudden revelation as he generated a swirling fire collecting on the tip of his once again pointing finger as he raised it at Alex and shouted. But of course, one of his own team must clearly be the very evil he sought! That sort of shocking and unexpected betrayal happened all the time for heroes in his position whenever they least expected. Sure, these things usually happened towards the end of a story as a climactic twist, but when would it be less expected than right now!? The perfect crime!
So how in-depth would my knowledge of Fairy Tail need to be in order to play and what kind of magics are you guys allowing?
I can't think of any reason there would be a real bomb there, even a pragmatic one, unless Pariah's aiming for the League to potentially wind up with no recruits on the first day and for it to be shut down pending a major international incident.

Also kind of agree that this has both dragged on a little too long and become kind of excessive. Experienced enough to pull punches might work in some cases but it's still maybe a bad thing when you have as many dangerous injuries and in your initiation trials as you do in the live-fire, actually fighting super-villains thing.
Sounds interesting
It's not real life, but it also completely doesn't fit with the setting as established by the GM...so...yeah?
Short Round is probably an example of why I'm hesitant to use the idea?

But a conman face sounds good. Wonder if I can come up with anything decent.

Since the younger Von Hessen travelled quite a bit in Asia an Asian assistant/companion might not be THAT out of the question although I'll leave that up to the GM and/or discuss details with them if they like the idea.

Or he could just be someone hired to help with carrying, excavating and the like.
Um, would Prospero know English too?
Kind of interested in this, trying to think of what kind of character to play. Immediate thought was Chinese assistant-type but I disregarded that as not likely to work.
In case my post didn't make it clear, Strix is now taking this exercise very, very seriously.
