By this point in time Daniel had lost interest and had fallen into a doze in his seat. Scarlet was just watching everybody amazed at what they were doing. As soon as Harry had gone and sat down a rush of noise from behind made her turn around. A white rabbit had just sprinted into the Gym with a large black badger closely behind. The rabbit sprinted right under Daniel's chair and hopped over Scarlet into the middle of the Gym. "BUNNY!" Scarlet squealed waking Daniel slightly.
"Scarlet give me fi... GUWAH!" The badger had just pelted through Daniel's chair knocking the chair, and Daniel with it, out of the way and onto the floor.
"Stop it!" Scarlet yelled running into the center of the floor as she grabbed a handful of pink dust from her sweater's pocket and tossed it over both the rabbit and the badger. Suddenly the rabbit stopped running away from the badger and instead ran at the badger only for the two to meet and begin rubbing up against each other. "Scarlet you need to stop getting in the way of nature by making predator and prey fall in love." Daniel said as he brought out a stick in the shape of a 'Y'. He held it out infront of him and it led him to an area just next to the entrance he had entered the Gym from. He quickly put it away and began to touch the ground. The ground seemed to melt away as if Daniel had melted the ground. All that remained at the spot that Daniel had touched was a hole in the ground that surprisingly was filled with water. "Scarlet bring them over here..." Daniel said sighing. This was his least favorite part of being Scarlet's twin. She might have the power to make things fall in love, but she wasn't allowed to interfere with nature like this. Every few months Daniel seemed forced by his parents to turn things back to normal.
"No" Scarlet said fear showing in her eyes. "I won't... I won't let you... "Scarlet you know perfectly well why I'm forced to do it. I dont like doing this any more than you like watching it. I like it a lot less Daniel thought. He quickly walked over and scooped up both the rabbit and the badger, walked slowly back to the pit and stuffed both of the animals into the water. Several long minutes passed where none moved except Daniel struggling to drown the two beasts. When they finally stopped moving Daniel stood still for a moment to steady his breaths, he then walked over to his sister who was in tears and walked back with her to their seats. Scarlet believed that Daniel loved doing that to animals. She didn't realize that Daniel was forced to clean up after her and that his wounds were not simply scratches and bites from the animals as he drowned them, but a deep depression that always forms after the act was carried out. What made it even worse for Daniel is that every time he had been forced to commit the act, Scarlet would cease to talk to him for days.
