Artemis smiled when he mentioned her hair and smiled. "Well I can see we have that in common then." She said gesturing to his hair color laughing. She could still feel herself blushing but she tried to hide it the best she could. "The kitchen is this way." She said turning to head down the hallway looking back smiling at the boy. "My name is Artemis by the way. Its nice to meet you." She said holding out her hand as if it was an old habit of hers.

Artemis smiled brightly as Nikko's ears perked up and ran over. "He does?" He said excitedly. Even at a young age he knew what an honor it was to be trusted with the safety of the king himself. "That would be amazing!" Nikko said jumping up with excitement. Artemis laughed and smiled at Nikko. "It will be a while from now you know that right?" She said playfully and Nikko laughed in response. She looked over at Cyren and smiled. "Looks like he may need quite a few lessons." She said smiling at him almost as if she forgot the King was there before looking back at the King.
Kalina laughed. "Yes I do. I have tried chasing lizards too. It is always fun and pushes me to get better at it." She said laughing as she smiled at Gumu. It felt like she had known Gumu all her life but she only knew him for two days. She could not understand why but it made her happy to be around him.

Artemis had been sitting in her room for the longest time trying to keep her calm. She could tell she was too nervous to go out and meet people but she knew she did not have a choice. She took a deep breath and fixed her hair and glasses the best she could. You can do this...You have the strength to do anything... She thought to herself as she walked out of her room and saw a guy in the hallway with red hair asking where the kitchen was. She cleared her throat and smiled at at the boy. "Excuse me. If you want to know where the kitchen is...I can show you. I was just heading there myself." She said blushing as she said it. She could not help but desperately try to make an effort to talk to people but she never thought it would be to a guy first.

Kalina smiled at Gumu. "Well I like to explore." She said looking around. "I also like chasing flying bugs and trying to catch them. It can be hard if they are fast." She said laughing. "What do you like to do?" She asked as she wrapped her tail around her legs softly.
Artemis took another small breath as he reassured her that he would agree to the terms. "I can see them being together in the future too. I never would have thought my daughter would one day be a queen...but I could not be happier for her." She said looking back at Cyren. "And I know her brother Nikko would make a great guard. He has even tried to protect me when we were on our own." She said smiling at Cyren and the King.

Power: He is able to light his entire body on fire and also generates super strength in the process
Abilities/skills: He is able to somewhat fly when he is on fire, but he is still working on it more and more. He knows hand to hand combat as well when he is not able to show his abilities.
Brief background: He grew up in the bad neighborhoods when he was younger and was constantly picked on. When he turned 11, he was fed up with it. He discovered his powers and tried to hide them from everyone. When he was 15 professor Xavier came to bring him to the school and he has never left. This is the only place he ever feels safe.

Age: 16
Powers: Shapeshifter
Abilities/skills: She is able to change her appearance but she has not been able to master it fully yet at her age. She mainly can turn into different types of animal/human hybrids. It does not change her bone structure but will take on forms of different animals. She mainly sticks to big cats like tigers, lions, cheetahs, etc.
Brief background: She was always different. She could tell from ever since she was in day care that people treated her differently. She was never able to figure out why until much later on when she was 10 years old. When she was being bullied at school with people punching her and trying to beat her up, she turned into a cheetah and managed to run faster then she ever thought possible. She knew from then on she needed to hide what she was. That was until there was an accident. She was in a fight with another bully and she clawed the persons face and chest really bad. Professor Xavier cleared the attackers mind and brought Brandi here to let her express her true powers.
