"One is left with the horrible feeling now that war settles nothing; that to win a war is as disastrous as to lose one." - Agatha Christie
Name: Williams, Ariana
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Callsign/Codename: N/A
Kills: 8
Psychological Analysis: Ariana, though she'll implore you to call her Ari, is as easy going as you are likely to find in the military. She doesn't drink, smoke, or lose herself in any of the other vices available to a soldier or pilot. She brings an almost uncharacteristic innocence to the team, being almost blind to the ways of war. As a result, however, she has a sort of assured confidence in her abilities and suit that differs from the veterans. Unlike them, and their experience and faith in that experience, she has the blind faith of a child, faith in her training and resolve.
If you are off duty with her, it won't be too hard to poke at the inexperienced plot. She is easily flustered as, despite her age, she is still about as experienced in most matters as she was at age 13. She'll fuss over her teammates, and their vices, with the nagging persistence of a little sister. Like a sister, she is deeply protective on and off the field, her ability to follow through on this protective instinct notwithstanding. All in all, she cuts an almost child-like personality with the efficiency of a well-trained pilot, for an intelligent, fast acting, though emotionally fragile, soldier.
Military Record: Growing up, her dad was a member of the the UEE Air Force, flying an Aerospace fighter. Her mother, however, was a gentle woman who owned a store. So, she was steered through high-school in an interesting way, with equally military and non-military swaying. In high school, she was soon overtaken by a variety of different cultures, from anime to distance running. So, graduating early at age 17, the young prodigy went to college, and studied Aeronautical Engineering, with a minor in Japanese due to her guilty pleasure of watching Anime. She graduated, again early, at age 20, a 4 year degree in 3 years, in an almost unheard of feat. Then, when the news of renewed conflict reached her, she couldn't help but want to protect her nation.
When she signed up for the UEE, she was first to be trained as an Aeronautical Engineer, to help maintain and modify existing air frames. However, when a call for volunteers for the MAS program went out, Ariana was swift to volunteer, immensely fascinated by their functioning. So, when training began and she found herself alongside battle-hardened Aerospace pilots, many expected her to fail. However, she didn't, and instead flourished in the mentally and physically demanding course. By the time training was over, she was at the very top of her class, surprising all. She was the top scorer in the simulations, outdoing even her instructors.
However, after graduating, she wasn't sent to combat like many thought she would. Instead, she went on to receive specialized training as a pilot, in multiple fields. Advanced Survival courses, High G-Maneuver courses and Heavy Weapons training rendered her an incredibly well rounded individual, in and out of her MAS. However, as a result, she was 22 and still hadn't ever been in a real combat situation. An untested, if not very well qualified pilot. She was shipped off to the 101st, due to her high scores and qualifications and assigned to the 7th MAS team recently. This was done partially because she did have the scores to ride with the squad, but also partially to allow the scarred veterans of the team to take care of the younger pilot, so she can live long enough to reach her potential.
Equipment: One .45 Service pistol, .223 Survival Rifle stowed in her MAS cockpit, survival kit stowed alongside it consisting of basic first-aid kit, survival knife, and compass.
