Dealing with a lot of work from uni right now. Probably won't get any roleplaying done for a while. Why can't there be a major in uni about roleplay?!

NAME:
Elizabeth "Eli" Cassidy

AGE:
17

LIKES:
Rain | Music | Coffee | Running | Anything that gets her blood pumping

DISLIKES:
Sitting still | Sweets | Being underestimated | Being ordered around | Silence

QUIRK:
Eli always carries a ring with her (often placed on a necklace) for good luck. The ring was her brother's class ring.
Eli has a number of tattoos around her body, most of which are quotes or lyrics.
Eli is a very quick learner.

BIO/PERSONALITY:
Everyone who knew Elizabeth Cassidy would tell you that she is absolutely crazy. Eli is a risk taker verging on the point of being reckless. There isn't a dare or a challenge that Eli has turned her back to. This has often gotten her in trouble before - with authorities and from suffering a few broken bones - but Eli loved the thrill of it. When her peers cheered and cajoled her into doing something, she just knew she had to give them a show.
Eli isn't sure when her addiction with adrenaline rushes started, but she knew her brother was a big influence in it. He had taken her on his motorcycle for the first time when she was nine and she loved the feeling of the wind against her skin. Even before that, she'd been jumping cliffs with him. Eli savored those memories - screams of both terror and fun as adrenaline pumped in their veins - because that was all she had left. Memories.
Her brother died when she was fourteen. She supposed she should have learned from him. She should have learned to stop being as reckless as he was, but she couldn't help herself. That had been the only way she saw to honor his memory. And it was destroying her.
When her friends cornered her and gave her the brochure for Camp Turtle Shell, she laughed in their faces. They said it was to help her - that maybe slowing down would be good for her. Eli didn't listen. She didn't want to get stuck in some camp where nothing happens. She wanted to feel her blood pumping under her skin. She wanted her heart to beat so fast it was close to bursting. Ready to give up, her friends moved to let her escape. It wasn't until her childhood friend piped up, daring her to survive at least three weeks in camp. Eli knew it was a trap - that she was being manipulated - but the smirk on her friend's face irked her.
That was how she found herself packing her things and heading for Camp Turtle Shell, hating every second of it.

Ant Pearce

Ant walked around the high school. There were some students who had walked out of their classroom and frantically looked around, panicking at what they had just witnessed. Ant knew that feeling. One moment she was talking to them, the next they were just gone. She assumed that the same thing had happened to these kids. They all had the same questions on their lips: Where did everybody go? What's happening?

Some of them held their phones up in the air searching for even the tiniest bit of a signal. Ant was almost tempted to shout at them. There's nothing! No matter how hard you try, the phones aren't working! She glanced back at her own phone, which still remained black, and ran a shaking hand through her hair. Her first plan had been to run all the way back to the apartments and find the twins, but a quick look at the roads told her that it wouldn't be wise. Cars without their drivers were hitting poles, climbing the sidewalks, and bouncing off of each other. They still had the momentum pushing them forward, and Ant knew that she'd probably get herself injured if she tried to traverse that.

That was how she found herself inside the high school, looking through the rooms in search of someone - anyone - that might have the answer. Unfortunately, she wasn't getting anything from these kids. She wondered briefly if the people at Coates were also suffering from this. If so, did they have the answers? Ant frowned to herself as she came to a stop in front one of the classrooms, where she'd seen some boy slam the door behind him as he reentered the room. Coates Academy was far from where she was. It would probably take her a little more than an hour - probably more - to walk and maneuver through the mess in the streets.

"Dammit!" she cursed, making some of the students in the hallway turn to look at her. Before they even had a chance to question who she was and what she was doing there, she entered the classroom nearest to her. She blinked back at the students that were still inside - she recognized some of them - and propped herself up on the teacher's table. She looked at them expectantly. "Any of the bright minds over here can tell me what the fuck just happened?" she asked, every word dripping with Coates brand sarcasm. But she knew she'd let a waver take on her voice as well. Fear. She hated it, but there it was. She was scared.

"Come on, people. Theories? Anyone's got them?" She ran her eyes around the room before pointing at someone holding up a phone and talking to a girl she didn't recognize. "You. What's your name again... Alex? Yeah, Alex. Talk." The last word felt off as it came out of her mouth. It felt as if it carried a different weight to it as the others, but she couldn't figure out what made the order different.
@Comrade Doge Yep, but maybe fix up the Outer Circle thing though.

@hagroden Ved looks good.
Thought I'd share this. I kind of imagine the Young Gods having a poster of this posted in their base.

Omg this needs more interest. This sounds so awesome!!

We're having a cookie party and no one invited me?!

Has anyone tried contacting @Thantos? It'd be a shame if this rp would just die. :<
Peridot watched her prisoner's movements with a stony expression. She knew the other gem's antics. It was painfully obvious that Kunzite was mocking her, much like she'd done so many times before during Peridot's chase, and it would never cease to be something that got under Peridot's nerves. Do something kind or cuddly instead of hostile. Peridot resisted the urge to scoff and to release a bitter laugh. Weren't they all the same thing?

Her grip on the Destabilizer tightened as she stepped towards Kunzite, careful not to touch the wall that still separated them. Fun things she said. Peridot understood what she meant by that and just the thought made her want to sic her Robonoids at the other gem. Honestly, she didn't have time for such nonsense. Her superiors were waiting outside and here her prisoner was attempting to distract her with fun things.

"Enough talk," she announced, her tone more clipped than she intended. "Once I lower this wall, you will not speak. You will not do anything unless I say it. If you do not cooperate, I will be forced to call for help." She paused for a beat and caught Kunzite's eyes. "You know that they will not be as... merciful as me. You will be destroyed where you stand. Now, all I ask for is your cooperation."

It was standard procedure. Let your prisoner know that following you would be the better option. If they still refused, then make them regret that decision. But by the name of the Diamond Trifecta, Peridot hoped that Kunzite would just accept her offer. She imagined having to call for help. Those insipid jaspers would surely laugh at her inability to contain her own prisoner. News of it would reach her superiors and Yellow Diamond.

She blinked herself back to reality and scowled at Kunzite. She placed her hand on the wall next to her prisoner's containment chamber, activating a control panel that would allow her to lower the Destabilizer Wall. With one tap of her finger, the deed was done. The wall that separated them had disappeared into nothing and Peridot stepped back, the Gem Destabilizer pointed towards her prisoner.

"Step out and follow me."
Avery arched a brow at the way her roommate was acting. She was so quiet that if Avery didn't look, it'd almost be like she was alone in the room. Frowning, she turned off the music and slid next to the other girl. If her roommate was going to be boring, then she'd annoy the hell out of her until she finally moved out. She eyed the items Lena had taken out. The first two were boring, much like their owner, but the last one intrigued Avery. She felt the fox inside her itch to snatch the item and keep it to herself - both to add to her collection and to spite the brunette. Her hands twitched in anticipation and she buried them in her pockets.

She turned back to Lena, tilting her head slightly to get another angle on her roommate. "Kinda rude to not talk when someone's talking to you, you know. I mean, you didn't even tell me your name." She shrugged as she sat down on her roommate's bed. "Bad things happen to rude people," she reminded with a shrug before looking up at Lena and grinning, her eyes turning fox-like and her pupils narrowing.
@Comrade Doge Looks good, but the Outer Circle is still a part of Badlands. It's only the less prosperous part of the city. Essentially the idea is that upon the foundation of Badlands, no one was able to leave or enter it. Ever. But yes, I like the idea that Inner Circle members killed his parents (it's not really that unheard of there).

@GingerBoi123 We'd love to have you! ^-^

@Everyone - I'm thinking of having the OOC up by tonight~
