Interactions, encounters, incursions, it's all the same so long as he's been in it at some point. Which it appears he has. And that means the rest of the Vy'lar would have found out about and started observing him after awhile. I mean it isn't everyday you see a being that has no connection to the thing to which you sprang from and have your being in.
