Bio

My alternate account. I.E. I am ZAVAZggg and ZAVAZggg is me. Not to sock-puppet or some shit, just so I can actually have interaction between two characters in a way that fits Myriad Reality's posting style.

Then be careful!!

I intend to!

*Finally reaching the castle, I slice the air in front of my three times, sending out waves of energy to bisect foes in my path. Hopefully*
<Snipped quote by Caldizar>

Whatever trick you're pulling, don't let yourself waste it!

Believe me, I'm trying! It isn't easy when you're being nope'd by your own race!

*Increases my speed in addition to warping space slightly to reduce the overall distance, yet I still feel the block hindering the rest of my power*
<Snipped quote by Caldizar>

You coming or are you just going to stand there?

<Snipped quote by Nemeses>

Thanks lady, but I have another organization I serve.

*As I step into the energy, I try to pull myself through as well, wishing to join the others in their assault on the structure which the energy is rapidly approaching, but find myself blocked*
Yeah! Just give me a minute. Reality isn't cooperating with me here... Oh goddamn it! Why can't I access my true form?

???: *Mentally* Because we cannot lose you as well.

*I blink, my eye's briefly vanishing for a moment within my hood before returning seconds later*
What? What do you mean lose? What about all of you?

???: We all know the risks, but the anomaly must be destroyed no matter what. Our existence is at stake here. That's also why we've kept all Vy'larans of at least a million years or younger in age from following along. Can't have all of us going down in one final conflict after all, wouldn't be practical. *It "turns", and begins slamming against the structure, warping reality around itself in the process*

*I lower my gaze, my tone solemn*
So this is a suicide mission then?

???: *Continues assault, this time warping the structures dimensions as the energy continues to spread* ...Yes. And one you have no business being part of.

*I nod, turning my attention to the fights unfolding around me as more Vy'lar swarm the building like locusts*
Alright, but what if I provide support with my avatar?

???: That is acceptable so long as it does not jeopardize your true form.

*Nods once more before summoning Solace into my hand, and moving in to help*
*Grunts as the strings connecting my avatar to me become stressed from the connection blockage*
Oh comn on! Really? As if this wasn't bad enough already.

*I watch as the energy begins flowing in my general direction*
At least I still have that.

*I move towards it, feeling more relieved with every step, as though I've returned home after a long trip*
Huh, guess this place was screwing with me more than I thought.
To clarify, think of that energy as consecrated ground in DnD except in reverse. The Vy'lar can only move in area's it covers, not area's it doesn't. See Fenris is just using a puppet, so only a small part of him is experiencing the Outside. For their true forms to even be able to exist there, I figure a little piece of home is needed.

Yes this energy can be blocked and even reverted.
<Snipped quote by Caldizar>

I suppose that is just the way it is.

Mm. Unfortunat-

*As chaos ensues, a coin sized rift opens in the sky and a reflective glass orb about the size of a baseball falls through. It does not shatter on impact with the ground however*

What the hell is that?

*I stare at it for a bit, but it sits there, seemingly for added effect. Eventually crack spiderwebs across its center, yet still it remains, unbroken.

Then, it explodes.

And what looks to be pure multicolored energy begins spreading rapidly across the ground, seemingly changing the landscapes very nature in the process.

It is then I realize*

Clever bastards... They made a bomb that absorbs the Outside... Or at least converts it anyway. Though I fail to see how that helps...

*Thunder booms from above as cracks begin to appear, through which Vy'laran pour in all manner if incomprehensible forms, but only above where the energy has spread*

???: *Moves dowards towards everyone, reality around it beginning to change and become less... foreign. It pauses several feet up, turning towards the others with it* Find the anomaly! And when you do, eliminate it at all costs!

*The other Vy'lar quickly spread as the energy does, destroying anything that comes between them and their target*
<Snipped quote by Caldizar>

I fall back. There are more like yours, and I am patient.

Hmm. We're not so different in the end it seems. Granted I'd be erased before eating realities like you, but we share the same zeal albeit for different things. A pity we could not see eye to eye on this however.
<Snipped quote by Caldizar>

It’s a gift I was given. A way to equalize, and even tip the scales. I’ve had to run and hide from them like a rat as I scurry for what scraps I could get, all this time, but with your reality that scale will begin to tip. I’ve had more than enough time to analyze and work towards this to know.

You seem pretty confident in that regard. But what if this foe manages to pull something you weren't expecting? Weren't prepared for? What then? Our reality will have been a waste, and your mission a failure.
<Snipped quote by Caldizar>

You.
*Points*
Delude yourself with tales of bravado and heroism the likes of which are much less extraordinary than you say. I watch your reality from outside. I have for eons. I have hand picked every individual in this timeline I want by my side, and he is not one of them. The gods you say he faces are mere men putting on a facade. Their gap is not so large as you perceive it to be, or perhaps even as you wish it to be. The truth is that there are entities out there who do, objectively, outclass other entities by such a large magnitude that it isn’t even fair, and there is nothing you can do about it. That is the reality that dreamers like you from my race had to face before the rest of us learned our lesson.

Ah, well if that is the reality then let me ask you this...

Why bother in the first place? It's unwinnable right? So why not let thing's be? Existence will end, this much I do not deny, but why have it do so prematurely in the name of fighting a foe as unfair and unkillable as you claim?
<Snipped quote by Caldizar>

It’s adorable. This kind of logic even exists in your reality. The only one here who has the right to judge the threat I faced is me. None of you have seen it. Even as I have already absorbed entire other realities to gain their power before coming to yours, I still couldn’t face them. Surely you understand what kind of gap that is between us... But yes, I will try harder. By continuing with what I have set out to do.

<Snipped quote by Legend Begins>

Slavery? It’s nothing more than a draft, issued by a higher power to fight for your own survival. But you had better think long and hard on that threat, because I have more of just about everything in me than your entire Existence could hope to drum up.

You miss my point entirely by falling back on your realities flawed obsession with power. That madman in that box has beaten gods, yet he does not fight. Does not kill. He does so through words alone. And even when his enemies refused to listen, he did not abandon his principles as you have yours. But what would you know of such things? You've already fallen into the oldest of traps. A justification bias where as long as the end is perceived to be noble or for the greater good, the means are irrelevant.
