Current That isekai idea works until you take into account the advanced part and include things like AI, brain machine interfaces, etc. Knowledge can just be downloaded.

Unless you love kids a little too much, then a prison sentence is what can be done about it.

I appreciate all the effort put into your CS! It looks good, although the question of making Sephiroth 'level one' is a difficult one, to be sure.

You did mention how he performs in Smash. In Smash, he's got a lot of power and range, but while his movement speed is fast his frame data is on the slow side, and some of his moves have a lot of recovery. He's also on the lighter side, able to be launched without much difficulty. This could make him into a fighter in World of Light with obvious strengths but also obvious weaknesses, and maybe lead to a personal angle where Sephiroth is frustrated by the damage he keeps taking when he knows he should be better than this.

'Expert Combatant' and 'Superhuman' describe who he is, but not how he'll perform at the beginning. Levels are power for NPCs, so at the beginning, if Sephiroth were to fight, say, Tora and Poppi, two level eight characters, he would be trounced despite the incredible difference in their canon strength. As cool as it would be, he can't exactly make his entrance by slicing through a boss, either. If this if fine, then Sephiroth is accepted! Post the sheet in Characters tab and I'll send you a PM about an entry point.

This is indeed fine, and as a matter of fact my original plan as I had wanted his connection to the lifestream to be something he had to gradually rebuild by leveling up, how that works given its technically gone I suppose could be handwaved by saying part of it got put into the world of light? That or maybe all of it but again he can't just access it right off the bat due to Galeem.

Again though, I want to make it very clear that I will be doing my very best to display how he's not up to what he should be, which will help fuel his rage for Galeem even further, so hopefully no one gets too put off by his strengths and power as they are written. Especially since I did my best to hint at a significant decrease in ability throughout and imply that maybe most of his feats were merely the result of his puppets or illusions and not actually him.

But yeah, he's a fucking bitch to try and balance as far as writing goes.

In any case, I'll move him on over and start thinking on an IC post for when I can have him join in on the action.
@Lugubrious
Okay, here's the finished sheet. I know his strengths might be a tad problematic, and they were hard to balance since he's so damn broken, but to give you a good idea of how I plan to play him, think of how he is in Smash itself. He'll be fairly durable, fast, and strong, but not Advent Children levels thanks to Galeem nuking Gaia and thus the lifestream.

And yes that raises the question of how he can even use magic anymore, Materia or otherwise, but it's 4:31 AM and I'm not thinking of that right now. Anywhoo, let me know if I need to change anything.

Cleared.

I see. Well, I don't foresee our typically weekly update cycle being too much of a problem then. Glad to see you're more or less up to speed, as well. I'll look forward to your application!

Hopefully I will get one in. As others have said already, there's much to choose from, and my original choice is kind of hard to depower, but I think I can manage it.

Likewise! I hope you enjoy your holidays.

Hey there! If you're sure you've got the time to give this RP a full commitment, I'd be glad to have you, and also glad to explain whatever you might want more information about.

I don't think commitment should be an issue so long as I have a solid goal in mind for whatever character I might try to go with, and maybe even notes on their arc as well, though it might be next year when I take four CIS classes. Though those are on the weekends it seems, so that might just be a null issue.

Other than that I think I've gotten the spirit system figured out, as that was the most confusing part for me since I've only played Smash back when it had versions on the GameCube, and thus had to look up some of the more recent lore.
I have looked at this before, and after multiple read throughs I think I get how the mechanics of the World of Light part of Smash work now. Will say, while it might be foolish to join this since I'm in other roleplays, I am interested. I just have to think of which game character to use, though I am also tempted to go with a recently added edgelord.
@Blackmist16

A low rumble rose in the depths of Vitius throat as he steepled his fingers beneath his chin and gazed deeply into the flickering flame, his mind lost in the depths of thought. After a rather lengthy period of silence, however, he spoke.

"Unfortunately none of those places sound familiar to me," he remarked, bringing his chin to rest against the tips of his fingers. "So I'll assume my most recent shift took me somewhere far from Duncaster or even the Crimson Heights..."

Upon hearing his comment on vampires, Vitius shifted his attention back to the man.

"You can thank the Hoods for that, the murderous bastards. Although I will admit that my kind don't exactly do much to avoid attracting attention, unwanted or otherwise. Still, one can hardly blame us for doing what we need to survive. In the same way man consumes cattle, so to does a vampire consume the blood of man. And even then we do not need to take it all."

Falling silent, Vitius merely gave the slightest of nods at Julia's approach, but said nothing otherwise. He was still busy trying to figure out where on Tenebris he'd ended up. Currently his best guess was another continent, as all of the locations the man had mentioned hadn't rung any bells, though the possibility that he was in another world entirely didn't leave his mind. Hell was a massive place after all, and who knew where the most isolated parts of it could lead?
Vitius trudged over to the fire and took a seat on a bench nearby, the wood groaning in protest beneath the weight of his armor. Crossing his arms, he met the wizened man's gaze from across the flame.

"Tired isn't the right word for it friend," he said softly. "Before we get into where I come from however, I have a question for you."

He paused, his eyes narrowing into slits.

"Where am I exactly?"
