@PathfinderFriendly rivals sound good, and I foresee some sexual tension between them if alcohol is involved. :p I also found Here that suggests Freya is identical to Frigg and was married to Odin at one point. Not sure what you want to make of this.

@RaijinslayerI have researched how she got the necklace but can't find much on it how she actually got it. Anyone want to help with this? Perhaps I just misread something. Or if it's never revealed how she got it, I can create how she received it.

Freya had left it a bit late to leave her friend's house to start home. The sun set, and it began to snow. Soon she was becoming disoriented and frost-bitten. Luckily she was found by four dwarves who rescued her and took her to their home. The dwarves were named "North, South, East, and West".

Freya volunteered to pay them for their hospitality and the four dwarves cheerfully agreed, saying that they would like to be repaid by having her sleep with each of them for one night. Freya wasn't at all interested and promptly declined.

Until . . .

She saw the incredibly beautiful necklace that they had just made. She had to have it and offered to return after the storm and pay for it in gold. They may have been dwarves, but they weren't stupid -- they told her it was not for sale at any price, but countered with an offer that they would be delighted to simply give it to her if she were willing to pay their price for her room and board during the storm.

When Freya returned home after the storm subsided, she was wearing the stunning "necklace of desire".

So...that is interesting. I didn't know this about her. haha This will be fun to translate to the modern world

Personality: Freya is famous for her fondness of love, fertility, beauty, and fine material possessions – and, because of these predilections, she’s considered to be a “party girl”. She’s certainly a passionate seeker after pleasures and thrills of all kinds. Therefore, she is extremely outgoing and charismatic and knows how to throw a party. She is also a very sweet and generous woman in all aspects, whether it be sharing her spectacular body with sensual love, or her Seidr abilities. More on that in the Other category.

Her sensual side consists of her abundant appreciation for high-class materials, all kinds of music(especially the romantic kind), and floral arrangements. She wears modern day formal gowns that exhibit her amazing body only because walking around naked is not socially acceptable.
