Do we really have to choose the masks our parents gave us? I don't think so, which is why I choose my own.

Dunno if this should be in the Characters tab until it is accepted (or not) , so I'll put it here for now. This is still WIP, I will finish it later once I have some work sorted out :)

Nations Name: The Unified Realm of Albia and Terosa/The Albian Empire (a.k.a Albia, Unified Realm, Albia and Terosa)

Flag:

Form of Government: Federal Parliamentary Democracy, Constitutional Oligarchy, Colonial Empire, Thalassocracy
Describe the System: Albia and Terosa are run by two separate parliaments but are unified as one Realm under the Oligarchy. The Albian parliament is centred in the overall capital of the Albian Empire, Kyvern, while the Terosan parliament is seated in Defteros, capital only of Terosa. The two Supreme Princes of the Oligarchy, elected from within their number, by their own number, form a Diarchy and are joint heads of state. One must always be Albian, and the other Terosan. The Albian head of government is the Chancellor, elected directly by the general public in the Chancellorship Election every 5 years. Chancellors may run for a maximum of 5 terms, though this is a rare occurrence. The Albian Chancellor serves as the spokesperson for the entire Albian Empire, but Terosa and the colonies that have been granted Provincial status all have their own Chancellors. Said Provinces are colonies of the Unified Realm that have high degrees of autonomy, but are forced to have the same foreign policy and are all integrated into the Imperial Albian Preferential Trading System. Also in the system are the lesser colonial holdings of the Unified Realm, simply colonies, that are each governed by a Colonial Delegation under the control of Kyvern.
Location on Map Desired:

Capital: Kyvern, on the southern coast of the small island in the large inlet on the Albian mainland.
Other Important Settlements:
- Defteros, capital of Terosa. Situated on the east coast of the largest island of the Terosan archipelago.
- Macra, capital of the Province of Makria. Situated at the westernmost point of the inlet of the largest Makrian island.
- Ryza, capital of the Province of Pollo. Situated at the westernmost point of the largest Pollon island.
- Epipa, capital of the Province of Tinea. Situated on the Tinean mainland, on the coast of the channel between the landmass and the medium-sized island close to shore (it should be fairly obvious).

Description: Albia was one of the earlier nations to industrialise, so many factories dot much of the urban landscapes. The cities are old and not best designed for the more modern modes of transport, but adaptions are being made to accommodate the rapidly progressing technology. Railways are now commonplace and automobiles are becoming more popular, but horse-drawn carts and other traditional technologies and industries are still to be found in both large cities and elsewhere.

Agriculture and animal husbandry are declining in much of Albia and Terosa due to imports from the provinces and colonies, but new industries are growing exponentially. The iron and coal deposits to be found on the Albian and Terosan archipelagos have fueled the iron and steel industry, locomotive manufacture and, importantly, shipbuilding. Shipbuilding is the new major employer of the Unified Realm, producing en masse primitive sloops, cruisers, and battleships, amongst others. In addition, research into the feasibility of using newly-invented aircraft (not of Albian origin) for military and commercial purposes is underway. Designs for strange, rolling metal vehicles with artillery mounted on their roofs to be used on warfare are on the drawing board, but no real need is seen for them as Albia is an archipelago of islands.

Just pointing this out, you kinda took a majority of the Islands on the map. Other people might want some.

I know there is a certain Brit who needs a group of isles

Edit:Nevermind, he found a set he wanted.
Can I get an italy like nation?

Dont see why not.
There are ranges and the proper direction required with the use of these. Also, does this imply that you are always intercepting radio transmissions?

Your within the Roman's home system, where there likely to have the most defenses for detecting and scanning things. And I seriously doubt there isnt away to detect a radio signal without intercepting it first.
And Duck, Detect with what?

Sensors, scanners, radar? Anything a normal space-faring civilization would have?
There is no germany. Different world and different nations. Also i dont want real life powers just copied with a different name, which is why i use traits etc. Because then your start is slightly randomised. OOC is coming i have work today however and lots of course work to do so i shall try to get it up today or tomorrow.

Also I got claim over Pseudo-Germany

Bitch.
Duck, How do your people know I am communicating with anyone if there are no ships in the area?

And ASTA, <Snipped quote by ASTA>

So does this mean your weapons just destroy everything it touches? Your small arms ( rifles, pistols, Sub-machine guns) can pierce up to medium armor at well over standard engagement distances?

They can detect the Abh's ships, and that they are communicating with someone within the area.

And yeah, he is right, those Small arms are OP.

Edit:And your posts says you dropped stealth measures.
Area 1, Space
Aurora laughed upon hearing the word spirits come out of the Triarii’s mouth.

“What do you take me for? Some kinda of insane person who still believes in such primitive ideas? Regardless that plan will work, although since the beacons cannot be there forever I hope you have some way to implement long lasting directives with them. I need to make a final few preperations and then I will signal you with the location so we may begin.” said Aurora.

She did a final handshake, and a bow, before leaving the hangar.

Arcadia, Training Camp
“I accept this mission, but if possible I brought my own armor with me. It bears the symbol of the Royal Family and as such I like to wear it to represent the New Roman Empire. It is in the crate next to my bunk if you could bring it to me.” said Lelouch, as he began preparing for the mission. Lelouch paused for a minute as he pulled out the blade that had been gifted by the Roa’marii to the Romans.

“And I am trained in use of a sword. If this sword is as strong as your people say it is, it is the only weapon addition to my magic that I shall need.” stated Lelouch.

Ashes to Ashes
Roman soldiers lined the whole of the area, also rushing to get the Collective Scientists into the facility. Before they were in however they could see several areas being carefully excavated, as the Romans searched for more Aetherii artifacts. A female scientist greeted the Triarii scientists, shaking hands with them.

“Greetings, I am Dr.Vahlen, I shall be leading the Roman part of this project. If you are comfortable we can proceed with a tour of the labs before we begin our work.” said Vahlen, in a weird sounding accent. While it was Latin it was not the accents the Triarii had heard before, it sounded more like that of the humans of German descent living in the Collective.

New Rome, Magical University
It was Lloyd who stepped forward and spoke.

“We opened the artifact for the purpose of discovery, to see what was in it.” said Lloyd. He seemed very nervous at the sudden appearance of the angel.

The Golden System of New Rome
((Listen to this as you read this part of the post))

As the Abh’s ship appeared s new Roman Fleets appeared in the system, positioning themselves near New Rome. The Roman Anthem was transmitted across the system, in both Latin and an Abh translation that had been perfected. Abh across the system suddenly felt a huge psionic presence in their minds.

You think you can win Abh? You think you can face down the Empire that I carefully built over centuries? I knew the moment I first saw your faces that I could win. You did not evolve, you were created. Created in fact from Human DNA. We Romans are humans Abh.

As the voice finished speaking, images appeared to the Abh in their minds. Images of test tubes full of DNA harvested from what looked like Romans being taken to genetic labs. These images showed the Abh developing in cryotubes, their DNA being modified to become warriors.

Those humans who created you were apart of the Allied Interstellar Federation, which I found easy to manipulate and bend to my own will. Despite their failings they managed to develop a interuniversal drive, which is why you are here today. I actually remember the day I as a member of the research board ordered the development of the Abh, back before the Earth Alliance had formed the AIF.

Images briefly flashed of a research proposal being submitted by a mysterious figure, detailing the Abh and parts of the culture they were to have.

Originally you were to be created to be a slave army to a rebellion I was apart of the time, but alas the researchers did not follow everything detailed in my proposal, and you ended up with the strong will you have today. However I still did manage to trick a few of you into doing my bidding.

More image flashes, showing a Abh not only killing what looked like humans, but several other species unknown to the Abh, as well as what clearly looked like a Abh Empress. The Abh after the killings looked confused, as he was dragged off by police.

But my Aurora, who I named after a Abh that I found I was rather fond of, while not knowing any of this, came up with a plan to crush you into the slave army you were originally to be. And now my goal can be realized...the goal to enforce the superiority of the terragen genes on the universe. Terragens are those who have human DNA in some form. You are terragen, and shall help in this goal. Glory to the Terragens! Glory to the future Terragen Empire!”

While the Collective felt the psionic message they could not hear it contents. A message beeped across the encrypted channel the Romans had setup with them.

“Roman High Command has been informed that the message was merely a scare tactic to the Abh, and is of no concern. Roman High Command also request classification of New Rome and the Roman Emperor as value Absolute incase of a battle in this system.”

Midway, the Golden System
While the Romans did not send a ship they did sent a message, in many languages including English.

“You are currently communicating with the Abh, a deranged and hostile alien race. We are the New Roman Empire, comprised of the Romus Humans and a few other species. The Abh have been involved with mass genocide, proof can be provided. It was unprovoked and resulted in approximately 100 million deaths. Cooperation with the Abh will have your entire nation labeled as hostile as precaution, and result in termination by the combined Roman-Collective Alliance. Beyond that the New Roman Empire wishes for peaceful relations.”

The Romans quickly beeped the Collective, informing them of the new contact.
I would have preferred to put up something longer and better, but I haven't been in the best creative mood as of late so that had to suffice.
Sol System
Trenderhoof pondered the question for a minute.

“Possibly, although we did not develop Equestrian Standard as we call it till the closing years of the Age of Tyranny and the first few years of the Age of Knowledge. We also most likely speak different dialects. It was developed to close the language gaps that had created conflicts between the Equestrian Species, and a about 20 years after the beginning of the Age of Knowledge all nations on Equiis had adopted it. Although at the time we had not reached out to space. Discovering how our linguistics developed so similiar will have to wait. You said you had somewhere you wish to take us?”

Pruchanka, the Tygochan Homeworld, Equestria
Pruchanka vast’s desert landscapes rolled with dunes, cacti and oases dotted the landscape. The few creatures that were seen were either big or vicious, hinting at the aggressiveness of Pruchanka’s wildlife. Piles of waste material could be seen everywhere, with Equestrian nanobot swarms breaking them down and cleaning them up. While the Tygochan had been under the Equestrians for years and such trivial environmental hazards were no match for Equestrian Terraforming technology, criminals and nationalists continued to dump them, forcing them to keep on a constant eye for the waste.

The Capital of Pruchanka was surrounded by a huge wall and the occasional flash of a shield could be seen. This was not because the Equestrians were attempted to keep the Tygochan contained, but due to the aggressiveness of the species on Pruchanka, Equestria was forced to maintain it. It had been updated with guard posts and the shield after the Equestrians removed the last vestiges of the Tygochan’s former government.

Inside the city the streets were busy, mostly with tygochan, although a few Equestrian police forces and businessmen also were there. The square was the busiest, with various shops have people flowing between them constantly, purchasing goods from one store then heading to another to acquire more. However the center of the square a few Tygochan had gathered, both nationalists and loyalists. They were already shouting each other down, police began rushing to the area in a vain attempts to stop a coming fight.

Then someone threw the first punch.

Things moved too quickly to tell who had, whether it was a nationalist or loyalist. Blood spattered the ground as the strong tygochan fought. A few grabbed weapons from nearby and stole gun offs the police officers, who had been killed in the bloodbath. As more and more tygochan died, the fight calmed down. The military finally arrived, too late to stop the fighting. Once again martial law was imposed on the city as the military went about cleaning up the mess.
