Soon they were at Nate's door. The light in the house was on. It was quiet. "Woah... It's never been so quiet." He said as he set Hayley down. He gulped. The situation and awkwardness of it all had just hit him. "Um... Hayley... You think... Maybe... We should just forget about it? What if they get over protective. What if they freak out? What if... What if..." He was shaking a bit freaking out at everything that could happen. Pretty much everything Hayley had worried about.

Ummm... Water magic? Ice magic? Ice might be cool. Good for making body doubles, stealing, protecting... Seems like it'd fit him. And we need an Ice mage for Iggy to fight with >.>
Lightning magic would work to. You could do nearly everything Laxus does since a majority of the spells he uses are Lightning magic and not Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic.
Both i've said so far actually fit very well with your character.

A few hours passed and the movie marathon finished. Nathaniel got a silent alarm from a little sensor he set up for when his parents came home. "Oh yeah. Time for the big surprised." He said as he stood up. "You comin?" He asked Hayley with a smile.

His helmet is usually kept in his Reequip space, and he only wears it for special occasions.Torie Derringer None 17 Male JUSTICE! Torie is a pretty cheerful guy most of the time, usually upbeat, and has a unique sense of right and wrong. He can be a bit overprotective of people he cares about, his sisters in particular, and will stop at nothing to stop harm from coming to them. Lost Caster B Ripple Magic A magic that revolves entirely around internal control of one's magical energy, and to release it in a concentrated blow from a single point. Considered a martial art in and of itself. The user draws strength from their magical energy, as well as the oxygen in their bloodstream. It can even be channeled through most low viscosity liquids. More of a meditation technique than anything else, it allows Torie to multiply his current magical energy to replenish it quicker than a normal person could while standing still and remaining calm. He's heard from his master that it is possible to perform this technique while moving, however, doing so requires intense training and focus, and Torie has yet to master it. Torie can channel energy throughout his body, which he can release at nearly any point on his body. The released energy can work at a distance, but it is designed to hit close targets, and as such, a punch and ripple energy combination is extremely effective. A technique that focuses on a reliable strike that is hard to dodge. The user channels ripples through their arms and into both of their palms, which they then use together to deliver a solid blow. A swiftly channeled ripple technique that is conducted through the user's elbow or knee, which is swift due to how short the distance the ripple has to make from the heart to the joints. Overall, the weakest of the 4. A ripple technique that involves channeling ripples through the user's leg and into his foot, which is then brought up to deliver a devastating drop kick. The strongest of the four seasons. A ripple infused headbutt, the most self-destructive of the four seasons, but is effectively the easiest to hit with, and the 2nd strongest. A technique that passes a magic ripple through the target's body, acting as a potent painkiller. Will remove most pain from the human body for 2 hours, but does no actual healing. Torie can channel his ripples through his legs and into he soles of his feet, and can use the kick off from the release to propel himself forward. Can actually be used midair. Torie channels the ripple throughout his entire body at once, dramatically boosting his physical capabilites, and enables him instant access to all of his techniques without the need to channel. This mode can last for about 16 seconds, after which he'll be exhausted from the strain. Torie was born into a rather poor family, along with 2 younger sisters, and an older brother. By the time he was 10 and his brother was 13, their parents passed away in an accident at the docks they worked at. Struggling to get by with what work they could, the two brothers eventually started stealing to feed their siblings, as well as themselves. As the years passed, they got more and more ambitious, never really getting caught, thanks to Torie's brother Morton's planning, and his quick hands. Time passed, and eventually, like all thieves, the two were caught red-handed trying to rob a nobleman's house. In an act of profound selflessness, Torie's brother took all the blame upon himself, and was sentenced to 4 years juvenile imprisonment for severe grand theft. Torie, left alone and without the brains behind the operation, was at a loss as to what he could do to feed his sisters, and so, stole what he could. Unfortunately, or rather, fortunately for him, one fateful day when he was 15, he attempted to pick the pocket of a man who moved at blinding speed, and had the strength of a bison. The man could have easily snapped his arm like a twig, but instead spared the pickpocket. Rather than informing the authorities, the man seemed to see something within the boy that he himself could not see, and so, took him under his wing as an apprentice of using Ripple Magic, an all but Lost art in the magic world. His invitation was even extended to his two younger sisters, though they seemed to lack whatever untapped potential Torie had. The man would often preach to Torie the importance of Justice in the world, and that even above laws, Justice should stand as a shining beacon that every man can look to and see something entirely different, yet at the core, the same. When the time finally came for them to part, his master left without a trace, having never given his name, and saying nothing to anybody. The only thing left behind was an oddly crafted green helmet with a gold visor, with the word: "Gerechtigkeit" engraved into the scalp. With no real aim in life, he figured that he could use his new-found magic to provide for his siblings, and so, decided that he'd need to join a Mage's Guild. Who better than Fairy Tail?Welp, he done.

Okay really not sure what to say here. I read it over. The overall background and character is fine, but the magic is iffy. First off, Raw magic like this(to my understanding) is way way WAY strong and in most cases overpowered compared to other magic abilities. And this seems like a form of magic utilizing raw magic. You seem to have done a fair job making the power balance out a bit, but still... I don't think it works too well. SO! While i think the character is fine I don't think I can accept his magic. Also... while it isn't in the rules I don't think Kitty wanted too many Lost magic in the RP. So I'm not sure she will allow another lost magic. This doesn't mean nobody else will get another lost magic. But for now I think she wants to cap it.
