I fear the day I have kids and they think the shit I loved growing up is intolerable because it's not rendered in 5790p at 800 frames per second and they can't tell that a character with fewer than 100,000 polygons is a human, let alone a character you can get emotionally attached to.
I still have my Gameboy. I'll probably give it to one of my kids before they're contaminated with this graphics wankfest of the present and beyond.

Let's be honest, it's far more satisfying and challenging to actually imagine what a character looks like than paste a hundred gifs of a celebrity and call it good.

I just tell myself that Starbinger was a lying sack of shit and is trying to emotionally manipulate me, but even if Starbinger is telling the truth (it's a fucking Reaper; of course it's trying to manipulate you, that's all they ever do), then it's the cost of a synthetic race verses literally everything else in the galaxy. A race that has on two occasions gone over to the Reapers and almost helped usher in the extinction.
I love the geth and all, but it was no a hard choice. Sucks about EDI, but what's one life weighed against trillions? I set out to kill the Reapers from day one, I never wavered.
