There's actually a bacon shortage and the reason packages are getting smaller while the price inflates drastically is pretty much because of the internet's obsession with bacon.

Dude, that's rough! And I imagine unimaginably painful to deal with. And yeah, I know they have to break things to reset them sometimes, but still, god. We'll keep you in the roster until you get better, unless you don't think it's going to be a long, long time until you can get back.

I would hope that most people are capable of being able to separate the views of the author from a work of fiction. Plus, if people get outraged over a depiction of rape but not brutal murder, then you know society's failed somewhere spectacularly along the way. :D
