Well, that's embarrassing. I get my profile up only to find I've used the same mask as another character. There's no sense in doubling up, so give me a minute to figure out what to use instead and I'll change it.

Name: Suavo
Gender: Male
Element: Gravity
Kanohi: Kanohi Rode, Mask of Truth (currently powerless)
Appearance: While being shorter than most other matoran, Suavo still mangaes to stand out in a crowd. His armour is black as midnight from his head to his feet, but slashes of colour run down his limbs and across his torso. These purple and gold highlights are each about the length of his hand, but only as wide as a finger or two. He wears a silver great-shaped kanohi rode.
Occupation: Suavo is a carnival performer. He sings, dances, and performs a variety of tricks for the entertainment of other matoran. He will be performing at the upcoming Red Star festival.
Description: Suavo is a lively and quick-witted little matoran, who lives very much in the moment.
He very much enjoys performing for other people, but almost even more, Suavo loves experiencing new things, be they places, people or activities. One drawback of this is that he can be an impulsive risk-taker. This is tempered, however, by his wide knowledge and understanding of the world that Suavo has gained by being so well travelled and having explored many parts of Kongero Nui through his role in the carnival. He has been around enough that whenever he gets into a sticky situation, he can remember a similar experience and how he got out of that one.
Tools: A wooden flute
Relationships: Suavo has connected briefly with many matoran over the course of his travels. Due to his itinerant nature, however, he sees most of them but rarely, and mostly socialises with his colleagues and whoever happens to be coming by the carnival.
Journal: Nothing just yet.
Bag:
• Costume
• Bag of tricks
• 100 widgets

We could double, but we don't all have to.

I'd be quite happy to, especially if it gets us up to the traditional six-member team. I've been thinking about a lively little Ba-matoran.

It looks like interest has diminished at this stage, sadly.

Do you think the game can still go forward if those of us who are in take two characters each?

Name: Kumanu
Gender: Male
Element: Ice
Mask: Kanohi Faxon, Mask of Kindred (currently powerless)

Appearance:Kumanu is a long-limbed Matoran in snowy white armour, save for his neck, hands and lower legs which are a clear, bright blue. His most distinguishing physical feature is the telescopic lens over the right eye of his noble-shaped faxon.

Occupation: Kumanu works for the Kongero Nui City Council as an animal control matoran. Wherever the rahi of an area are becoming a nuisance or even a danger, he comes in to catch them and rehome the offending animals to their natural habitats away from important infrastructure. This job ranges from blade burrowers digging through the mines of Onu-Congro to clearing out nests of lightning bugs on Vo-Congro. Mostly, however, he sticks to Ko-Congro and deals with ice bats and crystal climbers that try to set up colonies atop high buildings, often caving in rooftops in the process.

Description: Like most Ko-Matoran, Kumanu is a quiet type and prefers to think before he speaks, but underneath that frosty exterior, he has a big heart. He cares genuinely and deeply for his friends and his city, and he uses his colder rational side to help them be the best that they can be. He loves his job working with animals, and is patient, calm and gentle with them, though sometimes he must cause them some discomfort in the course of his job. Still, taking them out of dangerous areas will ultimately benefit both the rahi and the matoran of Kongero Nui, so he knows that his actions are justified. He is a good strategic thinker in this way – he can recognise the best course of action for benefits in the long term. Thinking for the future is, after all, the Ko-Matoran way.

Tools: Kumanu carries a kanoka disk launcher to help him deal with uncooperative rahi.

Relationships:
• Other PCs – unknown as yet
• One evening a week, he plays goalie for a local akilini team.
• Kumanu keeps a pet ice gafna named Matao

Journal: Nothing as yet.

Bag:
• A wallet containing 20 widgets
• Keys to his home, workplace, and motorised transport
• A pack of cards
• Water bottle
• Pen and paper
• Gafna treats

Hooray, a character sheet! I'll have my Ko-Matoran up shortly.
What is the effect you want?
If you can't pick just one mask, remember that suva exist.

For the weapon, there's nothing wrong with a simple sword if you can't think of anything that is specific to the character.

On a related note, what is the technology like on this Kongero Nui? On a scale of Mata Nui to Metru Nui?
@Kaithas Sorry, I didn't know that was a touchy subject.

@tobiax If you can't think of a useful mask, try going with a power that relates back to the character in some way. Maybe it references some aspect of their personality, or works well in combination with their element or skills. Don't worry so much about utility. Eventually, a situation is bound to come up when any particular mask will be useful, even if it is one with a narrower range of applications.
