@FacePunch you should be aware that @miette also has Rose Wilson as a part of Mystique's Brotherhood.

@Divine Darkness Ooh! Thanks for reminding me to put the CS in!
I did PM you about the use of the brotherhood a while back - feel free to ask via there anytime if you need to run ideas about the Brotherhood by me!

Yeah, I got your PM. Sorry for not replying.
When I was trying to make Scarlet Witch I was planning on having her be a current member of the Brotherhood. Even had the idea of her going to Gotham with the intent of trying to recruit Killer Croc.

But, with Rogue I'm not sure if I want her as a Brotherhood member after the failed assassination of President Kelly. I'm kinda toying with the idea of having her (temporarily) join the Morlocks.
So while working on my Rogue CS I've looked up the original OOC post, the Superman CS, and the Mystique CS (thanks for not placing it in the Character Section, @miette) because I want Rogue to have been a part of the Brotherhood during the attack on President Kelly.

One thing that I've noticed though is that @Morden Man's Superman CS states...
The mutant terrorist Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants would make an attempt on the life of President-elect Robert Kelly (R) that would require Clark, as well as many other masked vigilantes from across America, into battle for all the world to see...

...while @miette's Mystique CS states...
When the Kelly act is passed in Congress, this is when Mystique endeavors to form the Brotherhood. She does with close aide of Pyro, Avalanche and Rose Wilson.

So, which is it?
Magneto's Brotherhood or Mystique's Brotherhood?
@Blue Demon... I'm not even much of a Batman fan...

So is she going to be our first X-Men PC? I don't really count Wolverine and Nightcrawler since... well ICly they aren't X-Men, right? Heh.

Well...

I ship Rogue/Logan. If this doesn't happen, I'll be upset.

Maybe... if he shaves his back....
OK, I was going to attempt to create a Scarlet Witch to join the game with, but I just can't make it work. So, if no one has done anything with her I gonna try to write up a CS for Rogue.
Believe I'm going to go with....

If it's OK with @Morden Man Wanda will start off as a member of the Brotherhood.
I will be using her classic comic book origin, I just prefer the Avengers 2 costume

For the life of me I can't think of any DC Hero who was actually born with their powers, not including aliens. Now assuming we're all on the same page, metahumans are people who gained abilities through external factors such as the 'Big Bang' in Dakota whereas Mutants are people born with an X-Gene that matures around puberty.

Wiki gives a few examples of a DC characters that could possibly be considered "mutants". Killer Croc for instance?
For the avoidance of doubt I'm going to restate for everyone's benefit that this is a One Universe roleplay and not an Ultimate one.

That means that Matt Murdock of the New Frontier world is the same Matt Murdock of the 616 universe at birth. The events thereafter may have changed slightly due to the fact he grew up in the same world as Superman, Green Lantern, The Flash, etc. For example, Dr. Strange may not be the Sorcerer Supreme of the New Frontier world if a DC mystic is deemed to be more powerful than him. That's not an existential change to the character but a byproduct of the characters having lived in the same world.

Fundamentally changing a character outside of these parameters is not acceptable. You need to explain how said Marvel or DC character coexisting with their other company counterpart has caused the changes you wish to make.

Are we all clear on that? Because it seems like there is still some confusion.

Are alternate universe versions of characters allowed?
Maybe a player prefers the Ultimate version of Norman Osborn over the 616 version. Or the television version of Supergirl over the New 52 version or perhaps the Linda Danvers/Matrix version pre-New 52? What if someone wanted to play Matt Murdock as he appears in Earth-65 (Spider-Gwen), as the Kingpin's right hand man?

Are alignment changes allowed before the start of the game or perhaps during the role play?
Like with the example of Dr Strange and Dr Fate. Could Stephen Strange possibly go to the dark side, jealous of Fate acquiring the title of Sorcerer Supreme?
