Submission seems the more casual option, so let's go with it. As for the background, how about your character is minding their own business when Gonad suddenly drops in, having purely by chance and accident fallen into a dimensional rift and ended up in this plane? One miscommunication later and we got ourselves a spectacle.
Also, would it be alright for one of my friends to drop in through the same portal and just leave an intro post for his character before leaving? His character comes from the same realm as Gonad and he'd like to take part in this site.

Low powered is probably a good place to start. My primary character (Gonad) is a big ole' hunk of muscle barbarian who is basically a 7'2", quarter ton Bruce Lee. He's not strong like a superhero or anything, but if you need a gauge of his "power" he typically starts his early mornings with a frisky round of grizzly bear wrestling. Old school high fantasy warrior type, y'know. Weapons of any sort are fine. I gotta hit the hay for now (sleepy as hell), so mayhaps you could kick things off with the thread and I'll join in tomorrow? Any arena or setting is fine. Future, past, jungle, desert, it's all good.

Established Wrestler Character Sheet(Everything set in stone)
Name: Jim Berny
Wrestling Name: The Brute
Moniker: BRUTE, BRUTE, BRUTE
Character Gimmick: Being ridiculously mean.
Wrestling Style: Powerhouse, Heel
Demeanor: Brute is a relentless and soft spoken lunatic whose unpredictability is matched only by his hostility. He twitches and spasms, uses the referee as a weapon, barrels into the audience, and whips out ringside tools to gain an advantage at every opportunity.
Moves: Too many to count. Most are dirty. Headbutts, crotch grabs, eye scratches, ringpost slams, ect.
Signature Moves(5 maximum): Torture Rack (backbreaker rack), Brute Bomb (sitout powerbomb), Brute Nuke (flying powerbomb), Brute Buster (Chokeslam), Geneva Creamer (a punt to the skull of a fallen opponent).
Finishing Move: Torture Rack (backbreaker rack). None that have been draped across The Brute's broad, bony shoulders have ever escaped.

I've migrated here from RS W42, hoping to get in touch with some of the good ol' folks.
