Saw this existed, read into it, found myself hooked.

Before I make a sheet, would a technopath be accepted? If not, would a person with a mutation that made them smarter be accepted? Asking since I could revamp a character of mine who never got far off the ground due to the thread not starting. Thanks in advance, I'll be joining the Discord soon!

APPEARANCE

A seemingly young looking male whose presence seems to project beyond his already impressive nearly six feet of height. Silkly smooth red hair is often tied back, but may become more wild as needed. His outfits generally consist of a white pressed suit with a gray undershirt, but he may wear a black trenchcoat like piece over top black slacks and a purple shirt. His reddish eyes almost seem to reflect the onlooker, and he almost has an imposing aura. And yet, one can't help but feel an urge to trust at his smiling visage.

His true form, that of an immense, silver dragon, who brings to mind standard western dragons, towers above the contenders, at nearly a story from the shoulder. With at least thirty foot wing span, and well over fifty feet or more in length, he's a massive feller. But it makes him a pretty big target. And it makes take off hard.

PERSONALITY TRAITS

Kind, considerate, thoughtful, ingenious, intelligent, resourceful. Slow to anger(usually), jovial, cheerful, if not humorous.

BACKSTORY & MOTIVATION

A mysterious archeologist with an even more mysterious past. Described as the perfect definition of a wanderer, he doesn't stay long wherever he ends up, unless he has no choice, or finds he likes it enough. In time though, when he deems it right, he will move on, returning at a later date, if ever. A wraith upon history.

At least, that's the urban legend, of the Professor. A story that has become legendary over the decades and centuries of his life. The reality is as follows. A mythic type of being, who was born an untold amount of time prior, whether to a Dragon who was king, or to an actual dragon deity, matters not. For whatever reason, his nation was lost, and this dragon stepped into legend as a wanderer. Some versions of the story around him vary, saying he lost part of his memories, and fell through time(and space, given he actually hails from the other side of the galaxy), others say he repressed his memories and prevented gaining new ones for a time, until enough time had passed to distant himself. What is clear is that over centuries, sightings of him have cropped up across the globe, often in the form of him appearing at ruins or ancient sites, seeking something. Some claim its treasure, others claim he does it solely for adventure. Often when he appears, he offers his aid to those who need it, before then moving on. The truth is that he seeks knowledge, and information on where his people went, a young boy when his nation fell, an orphan of a dragon some of that society revered as a goddess.

His reasons for being a Nomad are a mystery, he may enter a tournament and beat all who stand in his way, only to stop at the final match and let himself lose. Or he may simply interview locals. If pressed, the one said to be the Wanderer of Time will simply state he's doing research for a book, or seeking a rare item. To him, knowledge is more precious than any gold, more valuable than money, more important than even food. And the memories he associates with such are important. From lost tribes of the jungles, to the urban sprawl, he's trotted the globe, preferring to keep a low profile unless the world needs him. Some even dare say he's stood against corrupt regimes, to protect innocents. At the end of the day, he's a mystery, a vagabond with no home, but to whom the world is home. Such is the one they call the Professor, though no one seems to know what he's a Professor of, if anything.

Note: His reasons for fighting are simply for the gathering of knowledge. But I made it mysterious for those in rp who want to draw wild conclusions.

FIGHTING STYLE & ABILITIES

FIGHTING STYLE

With reservation, he fights, committing only as much energy to the battle as he feels is key. Even so, he moves with speed and grace, displaying skill far beyond even what seems applicable for a skilled human artist. He seems to have no proper style, instead fighting in a manner that almost makes one think he's dancing. His moves, while rarely flashy, are straight and to the point. That isn t'to say he won't perform for the crowds, but when no one is around but him and his opponent? No reason to show off. As a dragon, he possesses innate mystical power, namely in the form of being able to use wind and lightning as his allies, imbuing some of his attacks with said elements. He may use a sword if fighting a Ki user who uses swords, or a deck of cards against a gambler. Really, he just seems to go for whatever suits him best in the moment. As an effective space dragon wizard, he can do a lot of cool stuff. Including make his own dragons, but he's yet to figure that out. Go figure.

SPECIAL MOVES & TECHNIQUES

■ [Thunder Surge]

[Imbues the element of lightning into whatever he's using to attack with, the more conductive the material, the more effective it can be. Generally meant to stun a foe, by slamming a palm charged with lightning into the target. However, in order to stun the target, he has to strike a total of twelve times without ten seconds passing between strikes. This builds up conductivity, and on the twelth strike, the targt is stunned for a short period.]

[Imbues wind into attacks, to increase their knockback or cutting power, depending on if a blunt or sharp weapon is used]

■ [Flare Sphere]

[Literally just flings a ball of fire forward. If it hits the target, it explodes, if it hits the ground, a wall of flames rise up.]

■ [Tremor]

[Uses Ki to create a subterranean shockwave, which is meant primarily to knock the foe off balance. Triggered by channeling ki into the leg, before then slamming against the ground with sufficient force]

■ [Titan Fist/Kick]

[Charges Ki into fist/leg, to then slam into an opponent with enough force to cause a far more powerful knockback effect.]

■ [Ki Spear]

[Ki based projectile that lances towards a target. Often used for long range attacks due to high speed and accuracy.]

■ [Ice Beam]

[Ki based projectile that's as cold as ice. Flies out towards a given area, freezing the person or surface it touches.]

SUPER MOVES

■ [Elemental Rainbow]

[Using his immense knowledge of elemental magic, the Professor unleashes either a hail of ice spikes from overhead, rising walls of rock, cyclones, electro shock blasts, or a massive wall of fire(plus others as I come up with ideas) Can't be an element he just used. All require time to prep, which gives the opponent a chance to intercept.]

■ [Breath of Outer Space]

[Temporarily shifts into his true form, to unleash a powerful, almost Godzilla looking style beam, that if held, can inflict immense amounts of damage on the foe. Takes time to charge, and if used, he'll become almost totally defenseless while he recovers.]

■ [Falcon Strike]

[Just like, engulfs his fist in fire, and proceeds to punch the opponent so hard that if they do survive? That's one hell of a burn. He yells the attack as he does it. Learned it from a wandering martial artist who moonlights as a racer.]

WEAKNESSES & LIMITS

Despite being a dragon, due to being within human force, the Professor cannot access much of his power, without risk of causing internal damage to his body. This forces him to play carefully, partly why he relies on long range. This can cause someone to overcome when he isn't going all out. His lack of an actual fighting style means he has to rely on dodging, as his long range play style can be countered by one who gets in close. His tendency to just throw a fight if he loses interest or finds a new source of knowledge to gather can, be used against him, as his guard may lower. Additionally, his desire for knowledge is seemingly unquenchable, making it possible to at least have a chance of luring him into a trap. He also seems to have to eat regularly, and if deprived of rest, can cause him to lose focus. Nor is he really good with...relationships, not romantic, just in general. One can only imagine why. His desire to aid may overcome his own common sense, so yeah. Also if he turns into a dragon, he's kind of easy to take down if the need arises.

OTHER

Unlike most dragons, his people could easily take on human form, and did so to conserve power, and to better understand their mortal subjects. His ability to control lightning is derived from how such is considered in many circles to be a sub-power of wind. He also has a better regenerative factor than most humans, but this requires rest. He may manifest parts of his dragonic nature on occasion.

The longest time he's been "recorded" to stay in an area, was a university town about a century prior, for a period of time that while ultimately unknown, was long enough for him to acquire the title of Professor. It is implied he may be a Professor of Archeology, or History. Either way, his immense amount of knowledge makes him a living history book. And a witty one at that. He's immensely lonely, due to how he's basically at this point immortal, short of someone actually managing to kill him, but due to this, he can't stand to form bonds, due to how short life is for most. He's been quoted to say that "is this why we took human form? To understand their pain, their joy? The meaning of their lives...its a beautiful tapestry." Its also theorized he may have a lair somewhere in a remote location, that stores all of his collections. Or he may just live in a city under an assumed name. Who knows, eh?

Snobby Students Are Summoned As Heroes?

Henry had only just grasped the gem in his hands when he felt...something. He'd ignored the spout of water at first, his gaze shifting towards where a flash of bluish light was seen. Probably the source of the roar, right? He caught barely a glimpse of...whatever was there, before the sudden tremor drew his attention back. Amaris was still in some sort of bizarre trance, and the other two who had remained behind were doing...something.

And then all hell broke loose. He had barely a moment to pull his hands back, before the ground started giving way. If he'd been any form of geologist, perhaps he would have known not to dig down like that, who knows how much pressure had been building up. Still, could anyone have predicted...that? Still, as the sinkhole began to form, for a split second, Henry froze, before flight or fight kicked in, and he began to twist around, trying to run after the yelling Amaris. While he couldn't speak for the other two who had been messing around with the butterflies, getting clear was key. Still, he wasn't sure if he could make it. But that wouldn't stop Henry from trying, yelling out to Amaris as he rushed after her. "Keep running! Hopefully the others are alright!"

Even in the midst of all that was happening, Henry thought of the three who had gone ahead, and hoped that they'd be safe. He clutched the gem close as he kept moving away, praying that he'd be in luck, and that him and Amaris could outrun the ever growing whirlpool, and that the thing blasting up behind them wouldn't...get worse?

And to think, all he had wanted to do was what was usually logical, search the area for anything valuable. Funny how life works out, huh?

Haha, yeah, advantage was that once you said you liked the idea, I just started writing it in my head, and when I saw the CS, I went from there.

Being a veteran rper and a long time writer has its perks. But yeah, I can make edits as needed. It'll probably be a bit slow today, since coming off an illness, since that's never fun. Just lemme know what changes to make, alright? Wanna make sure it fits the setting as best able!

If anything I put seemed a bit out there or super crazy, I was insanely tired when writing this but I swore I'd get it done so yeah, hope you like it! An intelligent and insightful woman, who hides this beneath an aggressive "drunkard" type nature, and believes that since everyone dies, might as well enjoy it while you can, even if nothing matters. She however takes a great deal of pride in her origins and will angrily proclaim herself to be the proud creator goddess of an entire race. Before probably throwing up and passing out. If she had friends(which she doesn't in her eyes), she'd show a more...timid side. A depressed alien "deity" who's washed up, abandoned, and above all else, seeks a reason to keep going beyond just the spite she feels. Everyone has their "shadow of a true self."

C H A R A C T E R A P P E A R A N C E

She looks like she's in costume all the time, often in the form of a military like uniform, or an environmental/plug suit that she wears underneath the uniform. Her hair is pink, her eyes green with weird reddish markings on the outer edges of her eyes, and she's decently fit. She tends to wear a headband like thing atop her head, connected to her seemingly natural pair of "horns" that extend from her scalp. And there's a pair of scars that marr an otherwise beautiful chinese style dragon tattoo on her back.

P O W E R S & A B I L I T I E S

While she was originally a powerful and gifted technopath who could influence entire solar systems, what caused her to end up in her current situation had her stripped of her immense powers, and instead a sub-power of "urban manipulation" was gifted in place of her prestigious status.

Room Manipulation/Furnishing Manipulation - A power that allows the user to change the interior of a room, either adding to its current contents if any, replacing, or removing. Serene was given the range of being able to furnish a bedroom or sleeping area with whatever suits a bedroom. So she's not able to furnish a bomb shelter, lab, or command center. At least not yet. The ultimate fuck you from her creations. Just enough to sleep. She can make a sleeping spot, a small food or drink storage unit with contents, and go from there. The usage of this power often forces her to binge eat after, as it takes a lot of calories out of her. That isn't to say the items can't be turned into weapons, just that their primary purpose has to be for living. She can sell off what she makes, if needed.

Alien Biology - Human she may look, but she is not. Internally, her bodily makeup is mostly human, with a few extra organs present, minus one that once let her breath...something. She also apparently used to have scales or really tough skin, but now she's basically just a girl with a strong metabolism...which makes getting drunk hard. There's also a pair of scars on her back, where presumably wings or an extra pair of limbs were attached. Her hair grows faster than the average human, along with her finger and toe nails, and her teeth are sharper than the average humans.

H I S T O R Y

The Imperium. A vast, cosmic empire, that originated from the far side of the galaxy, their date of origination having been lost to galactic memory. Two races, not including the conquered or annexed races, ran the show. The Rockroids, a race of souled androids that were the most numerous, and the Draconians, an alien race of dragons that served as the upper ranks in some ways, and that from which the "goddess" came from. She was their creator, the one who had begun it all, all in search of creating a better tomorrow. But at some point, evil took hold. One faction desired nothing more than total control, and they found a way to. They invited their goddess to a ceremony they claimed was to give her still more power from the various conquered races, but in an instance, they turned on her. She was stripped of her powers, from a powerful alien dragon who could bend entire civilizations to their knees by turning their science against them, their creations into their own ends, to...

The local drunk. A woman who is basically a hobo, working odd jobs just to get past on what humans called "money." Mainly photoshoots, apparently getting mistaken for a cosplayer worked in her favor. She used the money to buy whatever she needed, and basically hoofed it from one place to the next as able, trying to avoid the law. She's gotten arrested a few times...but that's about it. A former deity, turned into a normal person, less than normal.

M O T I V A T I O N

Spite. Plain and simple. A middle finger to the universe, and mainly to her creations who stabbed her in the back. She views this offer, strange as it is, a chance to regain her former status as a goddess, and to undo her betrayers plans to give themselves total freedom to do whatever they wanted. That and, though she'll deny it...a chance to just be around people.

I N V E N T O R Y

Not a lot, beyond whatever she can furnish a hideout with. Her actual "Base of operations," located inside of an abandoned factory, contains most of what she doesn't carry on her. She usually carries a taser, pepper spray, or a bat. Or whatever she can find. Scrap metal and various bits and pieces litter her actual base, as she's apparently trying to find a way to "fix" herself. Or she's just a hoarder. Who knows. She also carries a photograph in her often otherwise empty wallet, but of who, is unknown.

If not for how her creations partly messed with her head, Serene would be at or above the genius level, but for now, she's just about above the average slightly. Perhaps if someone found a way to fix the implants in her head..But no one knows of em. She knows how to work metal, and can build decently. She can make good drinks and can make her own drugs, and surprisingly...she has super neat handwriting and is a good writer. If only she didn't have issues elsewhere.

Her "anti-social" like nature makes her hard to get along with, considering she might just bite your head off. She suffers from migraines, and chronic health problems, such as well...throwing up a lot even when not drinking. Or something else that's why she prefers to be alone and out of the way. And of course, her drinking and drugs are an issue, since they often leave her useless. And she has some pretty bad phobias. She's afraid of the dark, she's afraid of loud noises, she's afraid of clowns, she's absolutely scared shitless of bees and hornets, and other factors. She also has sound sensitivity, another reason why loud noises she can't predict scare her. Also tight spaces scare her. She can't drive either, as she gets car sick easily. Seems her creations really fucked her up.

M I S C E L L A N E O U S

Akin to the second Predator Movie, there's an Imperium craft somewhere beneath the city they stranded their goddess in, and they sometimes sneak into her lair just to destroy whatever device she's making, or in general be dicks to try and keep her from becoming a problem for them. Its like a childish feud...

Oh and she likes to scream profanities at people. So don't be surprised to hear "FUCK YOU FUCKFACE" if you piss her off. Or she's piss drunk. And the cops tend to treat her like she doesn't exist, since they've accepted she's mostly harmless. They take care of any trouble she causes like bar fights or petty theft, and only arrest her if she like, causes serious property damage or injury to a person. And even then, she usually picks the lock, and escapes.

I mean, if you'll accept Zero Two from Darling in the FranXX, I can easily have their appearance be explained away as "oh another Japanese cosplayer." And no one thinks to question why she still has horns when she removes the headband.

Also debating if I'll have her only remember her kinds native tongue, or if she'll still know how to speak English. Her native language is basically a mix of latin and icelandic, so have fun with weird wordings.

Unheroic: A Second Chance [ENDED]

Son of the Wind

He felt it before the others had. A shift in the air pressure, an air current most artificial. He had taken in what the boy did, smelling the change in that air as well. So in the end, the response of the scared people, under the tables, told him volumes. And probably he stood out like a sore thumb, just sitting there, cheerfully staring ahead, sticking up at the table. Unless the one who had been going around with the skeleton key got to him too, Chris would have broken free on his own, as with a simple action, during the chaos, he broke his cuffs off, the magic he'd been using having weakened the metal enough to make such doable. But he didn't quite yet begin to take part directly.

Instead, he began to move his hands, back and forth, in a strange, almost mesmerizing fashion, even as his expression grew grim, watching those who fell. It seemed to be he was prepping something, a spell of some sort. The ground shaking from the attempt at tunneling concerned him, who knew, they could be underneath lava, or water. Either would be problematic. Acid in an extreme case. And yet, as he glanced down at the still cowering prisoners, he sighed softly.

"It seems that spirit never does break for some. I hope, that even if this turns out to be in vain, you all find courage to keep you moving through your days." His words were gentle, and while it was doubtful all, if any would listen, there was a sort of...charisma to his words. The kind of energy that would inspire. It wasn't time yet, he needed more. His gaze had lifted, to focus on the "commander" the one presumably in charge. Hopefully none of the guards would come his way. Last thing he needed was for this to backfire, or have to start the incarnation over...
