Was talking to someone who worked in closed captioning who is now getting a new degree because so many companies are turning to AI to close caption now… Which AI is pretty shite at it still.

Games I haven’t been playing video games lately, but once I pick them back up again, I’ll make this list

I smile at this and nod along when she tells me her preference on teas. “I think I’m the same way.” I tell her, stepping behind her and resting my chin on her head as I look at the menu.
“Although, I do really like the matcha and chai lattes that have become popular, especially since they’re usually made with oat milk.” I look over the menu and decide on an earl grey blend with honey for sweetener.
“If you did, that’s how I would know it wasn’t you, right?” I say jokingly with a wink as I pull over to park. I double check that I’m inside the lines and everything so that if the car gets dinged, I know it isn’t my fault. I jump out and open Cass’ door for her, offering my hand again if she wanted it.
I grin, only glancing at her for a moment before focusing on the road again. “Well, anytime you want ‘normal’, I’m here to help.” I say, squeezing her hand gently again before I just rub my thumb along her skin.
“Did you have breakfast this morning?” I ask as as pass a little cafe diner.
I laugh, but I’m glad that she squeezes my hand back. A comfortable silence blankets us until both of us try to speak up at the same time. Chuckling, I ask, “Oh, sorry, you go first.” I veer off onto the exit ramp for Cary.
“You’re silly.” I declare, taking the light brush of our fingers as cue to grab her hand. Chuckling I add, “Some might call me cheesy.” I tell her, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. Buildings start to disappear and we’re driving past what’s mostly farmland and fields.
I grin and look at her sidelong for a moment. “You know, I would, but someone got mad at me for it the last time.” I say with a wink. I pull onto the highway as we leave Chicago.
I heed her words, letting them roll around in my head. “Okay, fine, I won’t push him.” I say with a chuckle. I rest my arm on the center console, my hand itching to touch Cass. I wait for her to make the first move though.
I laugh fully at her reaction. “Fair enough. He did warn me that he won’t take it easy on me.” I use the passenger seat as leverage so that I can see as I pull away from Cass’s townhome and towards Cary.
“Is Avery a hugger?” I ask, remembering how I wanted to give him a hug.
I nod, making sure to beat her to the car so I could open the door for her. “Yeah, he told me to have fun with you today and then we’re officially starting training tomorrow morning.” I tell Cass, helping her inside before I close the door and jog around to get into the driver’s seat.
“Did you want to join in too?” I ask, even though I’m pretty sure I remember her saying she hates morning.
“Precisely.” I say with a bright smile. I look back at Wayland and give him some chins scratches. “Alright little guy, I’m going to steal your mother for a bit. Keep the others out of trouble, okay?” I get a purr in response, but I have a feeling it was for the chin scratches, not to confirm that he’d keep the place free from trouble.
