Although many focuses were available for Akuji to choose, she selected Breath, intrigued by the freedom of the air element. Akuji would use the tranquility and growth of Breath to help aid those afflicted by addiction, able to help even the most depraved of individuals as long as they sought redemption. With this application, it only made sense for Akuji to adopt soul as a minor, using rebirth to aid in the curing process. Now corrupted, Akuji can cause the infliction of addiction, driving people into madness.

Thundering Tornado ─ Using Breath to create a windstorm, Akuji combines it with the fiery passion of Soul to create a trap that will lock its victim within a spiraling wall with sparks of lightning and thunder.
Carnal Desire ─ Uses Soul to find temptation within a target as the air around them starts to create a hallucination of their deepest desire. One can go insane if they fully give themselves over to their temptations
Breath of Wind ─ Using the freedom of Breath and rebirth of Soul, this spell can help afflictions of the mind or help subside the pain of an injury

Thundering Tornado ─ Needs a large, open area for application and cannot be cast indoors
Carnal Desire ─ Natural light such as the sun will ruin the hallucination as the spell cannot account for lighting it correctly. (Think of how not having the right lighting on a CGI object in a film makes it obvious it’s not actually there)
Breath of Wind ─ Requires a smaller fan rather than the Bringer of Storms in order to cast. If the large fan is used, it can affect a large group of people and cause the caster to overexert one’s Vitanima and slowly go insane themselves

The weapon for the Knight of Temperance is a large fan, able to help the knight calm the storm in the hearts of those afflicted by gluttony, greed, and overindulgence.
Now corrupted, the fan serves as the Bringer of Storms, not only awakening carnal desire in those its wind sweeps, but also calling down a thundering tornado.

TLDR; Akuji has trust issues and doesn’t give away any true information about themselves if they can help it.
Akuji was sold by their parents to the Council of the Empire for their unique and expansive potential in the art of magick as a young child of only five. They quickly grasped concepts and easily honed their skills as they grew up, attending the best schools that only the influence of the Council could bring. The other students attending these academia were quick to compare Akuji to trash - after all, their own parents sold them off. Akuji learned to keep things to themself, never allowing anyone to see their weak side.
The Knight of Temperance has always been a rebellious spirit, always asking the ‘why’ behind every assignment and every order, so the Council had to come up with clever tricks to keep Akuji under their thumb. Between how they were treated by other students, their parents, and the Council of the Empire, Akuji does not easily trust others. When forced into becoming the first of The Seven, they treated it as just another job until the other knights started to show up. Their distrust in the Council had shifted to suspicion, only realizing too late that The Seven was in danger.
