Was talking to someone who worked in closed captioning who is now getting a new degree because so many companies are turning to AI to close caption now… Which AI is pretty shite at it still.

Nero’s eyes closed at Cadens touch and they smile. “Hmm, an angel might be able to tell but we could always ask Crowley - he got back his humanity at some point or other.” They wrap their arms around Caden and nuzzle into them again.
“It beginning to sound more and more like I’ll have to enlist the leprechaun’s help.” They mumble in a tired pout.
Nic kisses her cheek again before finishing the burrito. “I appreciate that. Lots of breakfast items have dairy - makes it a little hard to find places that’ll cater to that.”
His dad directs Jason and Todd to his house so Nic doesn’t have to. “You won’t believe how many times McDonalds has put cheese on something after I said no cheese three times.” They chuckle.
Kimiko “Kiki” Voss
Location: Caden’s Home - Chicago, IL Skills:
Kiki’s eyes keep wandering as Avery talks, unable to help herself. She sits up and clears her throat, grabbing her water from her nightstand and chugging it. She notices Avery’s hoodie is crumpled at the foot of the bed and guesses she must have taken it off in her sleep. She straightens her tank top to make sure everything is in place still. “Did you sleep well?”
She sets her water back down before feeling a little bold. She throws the covers off of herself and lays on her side, resting her head on Avery’s shoulder and draping a leg across him. “I’m starting to realize why I woke up so warm now. Is that why you sleep nude?”

Nero chuckles, finally unburying their face to smile lazily up at Caden. “I might be.” They say with mischief thick in their tone. Moving their hands away from Caden, Nero stretches out as much as they can with Caden holding them before another yawn escapes.
“Why am I so tired?” They mumble mostly to themselves.

Location: Outside Nic’s Apartment - Chicago, IL Skills: Fit
Nic raises his eyebrows in surprise at Cass’ thoughtful gesture. “You’re absolutely divine.” He tells her while kissing her cheek. Unwrapping the burrito, he takes a bite before climbing into the rear seat - they could leave the middle seat down and his dad could ride in the middle without all of them squeezing in together, he realizes.
“Cass this is delicious.” He says genuinely with a big smile.

Kiki wakes up feeling incredibly warm and very thirsty. She reaches up to rub her swollen eyes and rid them of the rheum that crusts them before she opens them to find the culprit sleeping soundly…
And only in his underwear.
Kimiko lets out a tiny squeal of surprise as her face flushes before clapping her hands over her mouth so she doesn’t wake Avery. Why is he practically naked? And why is he on top of the covers? She can’t help as her eyes drift over his body though and she gulps. He really did have such nice muscles…

Nero lets out a tiny breathless moan before it turns into a yawn. “Careful, I might start to think you like me or something.” They mumble, their face still buried in Caden’s chest. Their hands move to scratch him under his chin.

Nic texts back with a smile. He lets his dad know that Cass said she would be here in five minutes and he nods, heading upstairs to grab a pair of socks for his shoes. Nic goes into the kitchen and gets himself some water while briefly wondering if he and Cass might have some alone time soon. He sighs as he remember today is moving day for his dad’s home - there wouldn’t be many chances to be alone with her.
Nic grabs a pack of water bottles and his cross-shoulder bag while slipping his shoes on by the door. He waits for his dad to rejoin him and get his own shoes on before the two make their way downstairs.

Nero buries their face into the pillows with a small sigh. They should have known the two wouldn’t get much sleep. They move to face Caden, reaching up to play with his scruff. “Good morning.” They say, their eyes drooping as they fight to stay awake. Nero doesn’t realize that they are in fact sleepy, meaning that they hadn’t just snoozed to pass the time or sleep with Caden to feel closer - they actually slept because they were tired.
“Five more minutes.” Nero says as they bury their face in his chest now.

Nic wakes up with a yawn and opens his phone, seeing the text message from Caden. He types and stops typing over and over again, not sure how to respond to it. He finally gives up and climbs out of his bed to change into another sleeveless shirt and some shorts, heading out of his bedroom just as his dad sits his. The two grin at each other before heading downstairs. Nic sends Cass a text.

Nero softly giggles before it’s cut off by Caden’s kiss. They stand on their tiptoes, wrapping their arms around Caden’s neck and kissing him back with fervor.

Nero sticks their tongue out at Caden. “Because you can tickle me any where and anytime - I can’t just be naked all the time.” A sly smirk curls their lips. “Well, I could, but then what would the neighbors think?”

Kiki opens her mouth to argue, but yawns tiredly. “Make sure you sleep too.” She tells him and she buries her face in his chest. “Goodnight, Avery.” She mumbles before quickly falling asleep.

“Because you need a weak spot.” Nero pauses in their prodding to look up from their crouched position. “And I don’t count.” They tell him with a serious look before they straighten with a laugh. “It’s not fair.”

Kiki nods along automatically but her cheeks and ears start to warm from the other things he says. Avery adores her and the way he’s calls her ‘mine’ somehow calms her greatly. “Thank you, Mon loup.” She whispers to him, wrapping her arm around him and hugging him tightly.

Nero continues to poke anywhere they can reach on Caden. “Not until I’ve tried tickling every inch of you.” The demon says impishly. “You must have somewhere that’s ticklish.” They start moving down his legs, broadening their search.

Kiki’s breath catches and she slowly peeks back up at Avery as tears fall again. “I swear I never cried this much before in my entire lifespan.” She mumbles wiping at her eyes. “You might have to remind me of that more than once.” She says guiltily.

Nero closes their eyes as Caden massages the shampoo into their hair. “Hey!” They start to say to argue against his whisper but he steals a kiss first, effectively distracting them. Nero shakes their head and starts poking and prodding at Caden’s side, trying to see if they can illicit a similar reaction from him.

It’s easy to believe him when Kiki’s nestled in his arms and lap, but there’s still that small voice in the back of her mind. “But you didn’t choose me as your mate - your wolf did… right?.” She says in a very small voice, barely even a whisper.

His next words give her pause, but she doesn’t have time to react as he picks her up princess style. She emits a gasp and automatically wraps her arms around his neck while he carries her back to her bed.
Kiki stares at Avery wide-eyed as he continues to talk and doesn’t let her look at anything else but him. She chews on her lip, her hands fidgeting behind his neck. “If only my brain would listen to you.” She says wryly.
