Was talking to someone who worked in closed captioning who is now getting a new degree because so many companies are turning to AI to close caption now… Which AI is pretty shite at it still.

Games I haven’t been playing video games lately, but once I pick them back up again, I’ll make this list

Well, this picture didn’t tell Willow much other than Rowan might have a sibling. She stands on the balls of her feet to look at all the other photos of him. She feels the toes that had gotten caught and caused her to trip protesting the movement and looks down. There was a nice bruise forming and some scratches across a couple of her bigger toes. “So much for snooping.” She mumbles as she goes to find something for the tiny injury.
Nic peers down at her in confusion, his hands still massaging her shoulders gently before he gives up and takes the seat next to her. Wayland wastes no time in claiming his lap. “Wouldn’t you be more comfortable on the couch?” He asks Cassi, one hand petting the cat while the other brushes her cheek. “I can be the one getting up to check the soup.”
Kimiko “Kiki” Voss
Location: Caden & Nero’s House - Chicago, IL Skills: Fit
Kiki observes Nero for a moment, watching their eyes move across the page rapidly as their lips mouth the words, before turning to look at Caden in shock at the mention of Cassi. “La puta madre.” Her gaze flicks back to Nero, whose eyes have narrowed in an expression of anger with a flushed face. Kiki can see that they’re trying their best to concentrate instead of letting themselves become frustrated.
“But not an actual deal, surely?” Kiki asks, hoping no one had to sell their soul just for information.
Willow’s eyes go wide as Rowan passes her another portion of the sandwich and tells her not to worry about the dishes. “Wait, you need this…though…” He’s gone again before she can force it back to him. Frowning again, she finishes the sandwich quickly. When he doesn’t come back for a bit, she gets up and starts looking around the break room. Maybe she should have stayed in his house - that probably had more clues as to who this man was.
Willow blinks owlishly up at Rowan as he turns her cheek, trying not to flinch but still wincing a bit. Hands normally didn’t reach out towards her as gentle as he’s being with her. “I can start tha-“ She stops mid-sentence as he ruffles her hair again and frowns, her bottom lip sticking out in a pout and her brow crinkling in confusion.
Why is he so gentle with her? And why does it make her cheeks feel hot every time he touches her? Her stomach pulls her from her thoughts as it growls. “Thank you.” Willow mumbles as she takes the other half of the sandwich. She tries to eat it slowly and savor it but it’s quickly gone as she stuffs the food into her mouth.
Nic gives Wayland some scratches between his ears and under his chin before he moves to stand behind Cassi when she sits down. He starts to gently massage her shoulders, concerned that she might be holding too much tension and stress in her body.
“Better safe than sorry.” Nic says, kissing her head gently. “Thank you for getting the info for my dad, but I’m sorry you got cornered into a deal with him…” His thumbs start moving across the soft tissue of her back.
Nero
Location: Caden & Nero’s House - Chicago, IL Skills: Fit
Kiki turns her laptop to show a couple lines translated but then what looks like keyboarding smashing that read as ‘aohdfghjadgpafbadbsFUCKsfjgksjdhkfghjbsdfgkFUCKER’. Nero sheepishly looks between her and Caden as he rubs his forehead, recognizing the toll translating demon text was having.
“If you’d like, I can translate and you can type, Kiki. Then we can leave the Enochian to Caden.” Nero suggests, taking the book Caden had just set down and opening it as they sit down.
Kiki looks from Caden to the imp to her laptop with its angry keyboard smash and nods.“That sounds like a much better plan… How did everything go with Crowley?”
Willow feels like more and more of a burden as the day progresses. She can see how busy Rowan is as he goes back and forth between the front and the back. Eventually, he moves her into the break room where she had spent most of the day before. Did he do this for her benefit or so she isn’t in the way?
At the sound of a groan behind her, her ears perk and she turns to look up at Rowan. She once again finds herself stunned by his smile for a moment before she realizes he’s asked her a question. “O-oh, it’s fine!” Willow insists as she hands the ice pack to him.
“I’m sorry I haven’t been more help though…” Her hand moves to rub the back of her neck and she shifts her gaze to the ground.
Willow’s worried when he stands and leaves, concerned that she made a mistake and that he’ll be throwing her out. She releases a breath she didn’t know she was holding when Rowan comes back with an ice pack. Briefly, her small hand overlaps his large one as she takes over keeping the cold press against her cheek. When he reaches out to ruffle her hair, she only barely flinches.
“Thank you.” She says, hoping it’s loud enough for him to hear. He’s not throwing her to the literal wolves nor does he seem upset that she’s being more of a hindrance. She frowns as she watches him work, wiggling her feet a little since they don’t quite reach the floor.
Willow’s face flushes as it warms with embarrassment while Rowan helps her up. “S-sorry,” She mumbles before her chin is lifted. Her wide eyes find his, noting the concern not only in his tone but his expression. The smack of the floor on her cheek doesn’t sting too much, but it feels familiar to some of the slaps she’d received at the hands of the Beowulf clan. Still, her cheek does redden from the impact.
“I’m sorry,” Willow says softly again as moisture starts to collect in the corners of her eyes. “I just got scared. I’m okay, I promise.” She can’t tell if she’s trying to convince Rowan or herself more.
Mic nods, a soft snort leaving his nose when he sees said children in the window. He grabs his and Cassi’s things from the SUV before following her to her door and heading inside. While the cats crowd around their mother, Nic gets to work putting stuff away and filling water bowls. Starstruck, he watches as the candles move through the air and light themselves.
“I’m fine with whatever you’re having.” Nic says in response to Cassi’s question. “What are the candles for?” He asks as Wayland meanders over and uses his leg to climb and stretch.
Nero
Location: Caden & Nero’s House - Chicago, IL Skills: Fit
When they enter the library, Nero can’t help but smirk. Not only was there the pile of Nero’s books on one table, there were assortments of papers, parchment, and other books strewn about. Kiki is almost completely hidden by both the books and her laptop, which she furiously types away at.

Kiki looks up from her laptop when she hears Caden’s voice and pushes her glasses up her nose with a pencil as she pouts. She has her hair up in a messy bun with a couple of pens but blows a stray strand of hair out of her face. “I’ve been a bit distracted.” She finally admits before closing the book and pushing it away from her. “Besides, Xra’mban is incredibly difficult to translate.”
Willow pauses, holding her breath as Rowan comes into the back before she’s sure no one is following him. Feeling silly for getting so spooked, she starts to climb out of her hiding place awkwardly. She makes her way out of the corner, but when she goes to pull her other leg in, her toes catch on an edge and she falls onto the floor with a smack, her cheek taking most of the impact.
