Was talking to someone who worked in closed captioning who is now getting a new degree because so many companies are turning to AI to close caption now… Which AI is pretty shite at it still.

Games I haven’t been playing video games lately, but once I pick them back up again, I’ll make this list

Willow starts to calm down as soon as the covers are over her again, Rowan’s scent engulfing her. As he pulls her close against his chest, she almost resists just for the sake of her own pride, but she takes a deep breath in time with Rowan’s. “Thank you.” She mumbles into his chest as her eyes close. It takes almost no time for her to fall asleep in his arms.

“S-sorry, I didn’t mean t-to wake you up.” Willow stammers as she hesitates before padding over to his bed and climbing in. Her body still shakes from the dream, her ears tucked against her head, and her nose has turned red. “Sorry…” She mumbles as she sniffles. It feels silly to her - if she ever had a nightmare before, everyone else would try to silence her before ones of the wolves could notice. But with Rowan? She doesn’t understand it, but he’s a powerful source of comfort for her right now.

Willow waves shyly back, watching him disappear from view before she puts a hand to her thumping heart. Now she just has to decide if she’s ready to go to sleep or if she wants to snoop. “You can snoop tomorrow.” She reminds herself while glancing at the television. She’d only ever caught glimpses of one while with the Beowulf’s. “Tomorrow.” She reminds herself again with a firm nod before going and turning off the lights.
Once in ‘her’ room, she swaps the hoodie for a camisole, not wanting to overheat in her sleep, and climbs into the bed. She hadn’t fully appreciated how luxurious the bed was this morning and quickly feels surrounded by comfort when she lays down. Her ears twitch happily as she falls asleep quickly.

Willow smiles as Rowan leans back. “No cleaning.” She repeats back to him with a reassuring nod, watching him as he steps back into view. His words are comforting to hear, but it doesn’t stop her from feeling like she owes the large man something in return. She nods her head earnestly though and returns his smile with a nervous one of her own.
“R-right.” She says in reply to his offer, feeling her face heat up as she remembers what happened earlier in the day. “Thank you.”

Nero giggles softly, cuddling more into Caden for a moment. “How about getting out of our power suits?” They asks, lightly tracing random patterns on their shirt before they teasingly add, “Unless you want to sleep in a suit?”

Kiki snorts despite her best not to laugh at Avery’s joke, so she takes one of her hands and smacks him on the shoulder, not holding back any of her strength. When he opens his eyes to look at her, she tries to hold a glare but her expression softens as he speaks. Does being a wolf make him better at pulling a puppy dog face?
“We’re both still trying to recover from what happened to me, and that’s okay and valid. She starts as she reaches her free hand to hold Avery’s face. “But screaming matches and blocking each other out - figuratively or literally - won’t heal us.”

Willow shifts her weight from foot to foot with a small smile as Rowan talks, nodding her head to let him know she understands. “U-um, is it okay for me to stay behind while you work tomorrow? Just until we’re sure Grant isn’t hanging around?” She asks, placing her hands in the front pocket of the hoodie. “I liked working with you today, even if I didn’t really help.”
Nic chuckles, taking his phone out of his pocket as he scratches Wayland’s head. He sends a text to his asking when would be a good time to call. He sets his phone down on the couch on the opposite side of where Cassi was previously. “When do you wanna come sleepover, little guy?” He asks before shifting his gaze to see what Cassi is up to.
Nero
Location: Caden & Nero’s House - Chicago, IL Skills: Fit
Nero shakes their head with a smile. “I’m trying to think of ways to help you.” Using the tip of their finger, they rub down the bridge of Caden’s nose gently. “I know you put on a big front, but you’ve been putting a lot of your energy in helping everyone else lately.” They lean in and kiss his cheek before resting their head on Caden’s chest.

Kiki misses the warmth of his hands almost immediately after Avery pulls away. She finally looks at Avery again just as he closes his eyes. She leans forward and holds the hand he’s using to massage his chest with both of hers. “It’d be stupid of me not to, but just know if you ever pull something like this again, I will not take it this kindly.” Her heart squeezes too tightly for her not to give him a second chance.

Willow takes her time to just breathe and come to terms with everything, but also to help calm down her embarrassment for crying in front of Rowan. After a few moments, she pulls away and wipes her eyes before looking up at him again. Her nose wiggles as she recognizes his scent again. “I’m pretty sure I liked cooking for you though so… I’m going to do that again.” She smiles.

Willow’s mouth pops open in a small ‘O’ as she looks wide-eyed up at Rowan. “I…” She feels her face warm as her heart thumps quickly against her chest. Her eyes gloss over as she realizes how badly she needed to hear that right now.
“Oh…” She hadn’t meant to fall into habits she’s had since she can remember, but now that Rowan has pointed it out… “T-thank you.” She says before smiling through the tears falling slowly down her cheeks. She steps closer to him and wraps her arms around his waist, hugging him tightly and choosing to hide her face in Rowan’s shirt.
Nic smiles, kissing Cassi back when their lips touch and wrapping both arms around her again. When she pulls away, his hands move up and down her back as he rubs comfortingly. “I love you too.” He doesn’t feel like he needs to ask what spurred that on - he has a feeling they were both feeling their futures becoming brighter.

Nero hums happily, lying back and rolling onto their side to look at Caden. “I love you.” They say with a smile before they wiggle their way to cuddle him. “Do you want to take a bath? To help relax?”

Kiki had hoped the answer would be different and her shoulders sag with disappointment that her fears are correct. Maybe if he was new to all of this like she is, then she could understand, but he had been trying to teach her the correct way to block just last night. She doesn’t understand how she isn’t starting to sob right now, her tears just falling down her cheeks silently despite how hurt she feels.
“I don’t know what to say.” She says finally as her chin wobbles just lightly. With what Caden and Cassi had explained about bonds… The confirmation that Avery had done it on purpose wears heavy on her. “Why couldn’t you just talk to me?”
