Initial D/Touge/Street Race/Drifting RP??

... you know what fuck it I'm interested. I was talking to someone else about the idea of a supercar racing series RP that goes over a season. So if nothing else this can give me fuel for thought on such a concept.

Just gonna toss this out there... the classic 3D Man had an encounter with the Hulk. While he was way outclassed, he managed to stay alive and still got some shots in LOL

But yeah, I'm still having trouble deciding since Blade sounds like the most fun purely because of what he is and will do, Ant Man would give me the most to do from the start, and Justice has potential for cool stuff in the future.

Truth be told I also had the idea of an Angel who while once a rich prick who left the X-Men after some hostile back and forth with them, ended up getting experimented on his by his dad as a means to lose the X-Gene and revert him back to normal. The testing though left him with amnesia which turns him into a much more care free loveable rich guy who always seems a bit too eager to not wear clothes and is bi-sexual (you know... so Iceman and whoever else has a chance.)

Though if we're on the topic of ideas I had tossed around in my own head. I also had turning Billy Kaplan, Teddy Altman, and Tommy Shepherd into Scarlet Witch, Captain Marvel, and Quicksilver respectfully. The same general idea of being Magneto's kids who were reborn. Except for Captain Marvel but he could be there more for whatever reason... there for Ms. Marvel or something...

Also @Dedonus, why do you keep spelling it Reid Richards in not only the characters listing and in your Spider-Man profile?

Some names/characters that I'm toying with are:

Wild Child, Wild Thing, or Beast = some type of feral character

Citizen V or Patriot = normal human vigilante or super soldier type

Scarlet Witch = a psionic character instead of magic

Firestar = like a Human Torch character (though with a Ghost Rider & and possible Torus Storm this idea is less likely)

Starfox = some type of alien/cosmic kitsune....???

Just for the record because now he's the third generation from Johnny he won't have any fire powers. In fact I'm actually having Johnny's son and Torus' dad being a water manipulator like Hydro Man. Since Franklin Storm has shown that kids of the Fantastic Four don't necessarily inherit their parents powers. Plus the idea makes me chuckle since it would lead to weird son vs daddy squabbles.

Well yeah I realized it after I said it. But that isn't stopping me from sticking to the plan BUDDY.

Really he can be a grandson, or great grandson. I don't know I still need to figure this out. Since I want that great Storm smartassery but I don't want someone too old for it to be cute.

They're talking about what it would take for Marvel to get the rights back, it requires Fox not making a F4 movie for 7 years or making a deal (Which is more likely as Marvel hold the TV rights so straight swap).

Though while I want to see a good F4 movie I'd be kind of disappointed as it wouldn't be done until phase 4 of the MCU and I really like the fact of the Fantastic Four being the oldest team and essentially being torn apart during civil war. Sadness is achieved.

Though we won't get that now :(

Also just for the record, if I do take Justice like I've thought about, Speedball will be NPC'd and so help me god if anyone even TRIES or THINKS about making him into Penance. We're going to have issues.

And @Eru Iluvatar I'm not even going to WATCH it. The problem is, they didn't use any well known actors, its too close to the 2005 movies and they keep restarting it from when they get their powers - like the fans don't already know how they got them?! The comic fans are the only ones who want to see it in the first place. >.> Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was awful but I'm sure it's better.

I think the real problem is they took the Fantastic out of the Fantastic Four by trying to make it gritty and realistic looking. Though I agree with doing another origin. The 2006 Fantastic Four cartoon, which I enjoy enough to own the box set of, even though I realize its faults, skipped the origin all together. They could easily have done what the Incredible Hulk did and use the intro to sum up the origins.

Truthfully if I was in charge of a Fantastic Four movie I'd stick with the Ultimate style origin, but you best believe I would try to make the first story about something space related, even if it means saving Doctor Doom for the sequel, style it up and make it flashy, give it a nice booming electronic soundtrack, and just make it cheeky fun that isn't afraid to show its brains.

Well...

First Hulk ended up attacking New York City but Miss America, Lady Thor, and a reformed Loki stopped him, Lady Thor is furious as Hell about Loki being around but never gets her hands on him before Loki teleports himself and Hulk out to the Australian Outback where Banner is still hiding.

Tony Stark just finished his first major Iron Man suit, having inherited the company from his father at the ripe age of 19. Where his currently at a charity ball for Valkyrie, an Earth girl who is seeing and remembering all these things from Asgard and is now a SHIELD agent. Doctor Doom is also there having Valkyrie as his bodyguard for this trip as per country ruler status. Loki came in secret as did Enchantress who is having giant serpents attack the ball, leaving Iron Man, Loki, and Doom to fight them.

Meanwhile The X-Men only really have Iceman and kind of Firestar as she's an NPC. The Fantastic Four are on the verge of having the shit hit the fan and getting powers. Plus whatever I decide to do as a third character doing whatever. Hawkeye and Captain America Falcon are both on separate missions relating to AIM.

Also Spider-Man, Iceman, and Firestar are all hunting down a criminal right now who is responsible for the death of Gwen Stacy.

Oh and 3D Man is finding and hunting down Skrulls who are invading and hiding on Earth.

I think that's everything important up til now.

I sincerely hope all you Fantastic Four affiliated roleplayers feel ashamed after that travesty of a film.
