As much as the current stream of numb skulls in the Brotherhood irritated Quicksilver, his new teammates were nothing impressive either. A bunch of scholars who don't know what a fight looks or feels like. If any of them were back in Sokovia in any one of the guerrila missions Quicksilver ran they would've been captured or killed easily. Still Quicksilver had to accept they were better than the alternatives in front of them, especially Blob.

As Avalanche suddenly though launched an earthquake Quicksilver was able to focus. Using his speed to dance against the rumbling, cracked Earth as it came at him. Quickly he started grabbing hold of the men Lorelei had under her control before the X-Men had arrived. Moving them far enough away that they would no longer be under her power as the rest of the team got to work on the Brotherhood.
