I'm EchoicChamber, though I mostly go by Echo. I'm twenty two years old, have a tendency to scream into the void, and mostly just hang around and do my own thing. That isn't to say that I don't enjoy roleplaying, though; I'm a big fan of the supernatural/fantasy genre, horror, and superheroes. I tend to avoid RPs where there's no fantastical elements, though there are times where I step outside of my comfort zone. I reuse characters habitually across canons, and while I try to devote time to roleplay, work and real life cuts back on how much I can write in the best of times. Yep.
Phorutris takes the appearance of a young woman that seems almost as if the color had been leeched from her body; pale skin, messy pale hair, and pale blue eyes perpetually ringed with shadows. She doesn’t put too much care with her appearance, often wearing whatever she happens to dig up- which leads to her looking like an absolute disaster- or putting on whatever her siblings throw at her whenever they have sympathy.
Her true form is a creature that seems rather unintimidating. A cross between a sort of humanoid, a bat, and a bharal, Phorutris isn’t small, but she hardly towers over others. The horns that protrude from her forehead slope backwards, her wings are often folded in, and she has fur. Soft, plush fur, which just so happen to conceal the spines just beneath. Her eyes are like those of a goat’s, and are the same shade of blue as that of her human form.
Age
She doesn’t remember, nor does she particularly care enough to try and dredge up the memory.
Pre-Sin-hood Biography
Phorutris is an odd case among her siblings, to say the least. Her rise and fall of glory was hardly anything exciting. There was no path carved in blood, no heads left rolling or broken souls left forced onto their knees in her wake. Hers was a path that took those that happened to be a threat to her, and pulled them into the gentle stream of oblivion. Her competitors grew complacent to the point of holding no real desire for the title, leaving them entirely vulnerable. It was through that that, over countless years, Phorutris came to gain the title of Sloth, and it was, ironically enough, through her own placid nature that she let it be taken from her. She seems to have no real desire for revenge or to reclaim her title, and while she claims to be content enough with her new place in life, she’s not entirely unopposed to the stomping grounds of Earth, either.
Personality
Nothing seems to really elicit much of a response from Phorutris. Everything from her long-gone celebrity status, to threats against her person, are regarded with little more than shadows of true emotion. This unflappable demeanor allows her to keep a cool head in most tense situations, though it also means that she can be somewhat annoying when one is trying to get a proper response out of her. She prefers to take things at her own pace- even if said pace means a lack of ambition for most things- and for all her slowness, she isn’t unintelligent. If convinced to put the energy into something, Phorutris has the patience to wait as long as needed for the desired outcome to happen, and the power to make it easier upon herself.

Special Sin ability
Much like a vampire, Phorutris has the ability to drain her victims of their energy, storing it within herself to be used later. This power is activated with direct, extended touch, leaving the victim lethargic, apathetic, or in a state of hopelessness afterward; something that worsens the longer she holds on. This power can make her a considerable threat... If she ever decides to do anything, that is.
@blackdragon Truth. It's a definite possibility. I also have some more distinctly evil characters, mind you. I have an idea for a very affable young mafioso dude or a scientist, but I think I might wait to see what other characters are added in so I can see what character may be the best fit in the cast.
@blackdragon I'm not entirely sure. She does definitely have villainous aspects, given that she's supposed to become the leader of her death cult and does stuff like perform necromancy and scream while performing ritualistic sacrifice, but she's also supposed to be played as a kindhearted person. She has a tendency to get along with people much worse than she is, though, because she's just that happy to make friends with anyone.
@blackdragon I'm kind of tempted to join this RP with one of my characters. She's a death worshipping cultist necromancer that routinely sacrifices cute and fluffy animals, but is also an entirely sweet and generally naive character that would be super stoked to be attending a school, not really grasping that she signed up for a villainous academy, and sort of being aghast at having to do "bad things". Does that sound okay, or would you prefer an actual villainous character?
@WittyReference I think Phoru is a fan of most hibernating animals for obvious reasons, but bears are a definite favorite of hers.
@Lilaen Thank you! I just liked the idea of Sloth suffering from a severe case of bystander syndrome, but whenever she actually cares to do something, she can actually be real dangerous.

I would have made a fancy name header and tried to spruce it up some, but I thought it being simple fit my making the sin of sloth, haha.
Hey, guys. I’m sorry for dropping the ball on this one. Life sort of became a lot to handle in ways that I hadn’t expected before making this rp, and were just incredibly sudden. I apologize for letting you guys down and keeping y’all hanging for so long.
