When the heroes zapped Backstreet's old villain team, he played his cards right so he never got zapped by those mind control brainwashing conversion guns. He met Blessl once, using persuasion skills he convinced Bless not to convert him with her conversion gun a while back, he had to join hero school or those heroes would of indeed zapped him to. Backstreet, he usually hides his questionable deeds from Crystal and Bless to avoid being converted to being good mind-controlled. Backstreet runs a criminal gambling ring casino in the criminal underworld. He always carries anti-conversion energy shields just in case someone decides to zap him (he carries tiny anti-conversion marbles x80). Anti conversion shields don't work when up close with a conversion gun, you can only use an anti-conversion shield once per marble.
