I already have an idea of what to do for Lorag. We might not do it immediately, but I definitely have an idea. I also had an idea for one more thing to do in Black Marsh before leaving, after Sabine's ritual. I don't want to spoil it, but I think it will be interesting. After that, I think returning to Cyrodiil for the things you mentioned would be a good idea.
So, other than Ariel's meeting, what do you think would be worthwhile to actually RP through for this day in the RP? I don't really want to draw out Thorn too long. Also, have you had any ideas for story things we can do after Sabine's ritual? I have a few ideas, but I'd like to get your input.

There is also one part of the ritual for Sabine I should probably tell you about. It will involve the Hist recreating some key moments from her past and allowing her to make choices she wished she had made the first time through, so you may need to think of a few of those moments.
Meesei shrugged her shoulders. "Honestly, I am not certain if I want to compete. I do not see the need to draw all of that attention to myself. Still, I see no problem attending. Perhaps I can draw inspiration from other mages for my own study into magic, if they know techniques that I do not. It could be a waste of time as well. I remember the mage who was giving a show yesterday was unimpressive, at least to me. His skills were restricted to showmanship. I suppose I will not know until I see it for myself."

As the others were talking, Ahnasha finally made her way downstairs. She seemed tired and overall groggy; it was fortunate she remembered to get dressed before leaving her room. She lazily walked over to the table and pulled up a chair, taking a seat beside Fendros.

"Good morning, Ahnasha." Meesei said, noticing her overall fatigued demeanor.

"Good morning." She responded somewhat apathetically, though she wasn't intending to be rude. Ahnasha felt as if she had no energy, and on top of that, she had been suffering from a headache ever since she woke up. She rested her head on one of her hands and used the other to rub her temple. "Sabine, Ariel, I don't suppose either of you have anything for a headache, do you?"
"Most of what we traded for were things we did not have the resources or equipment to make. Anything made from steel were the most common items we would barter for. Most of our armor and weapons were made from wood and animal parts, such as bone and scales. Considering how strong some Black Marsh creatures are, they served our needs perfectly well. However, if we ever found anything that steel would be preferable for, then we would have to trade for it. You are not a blacksmith, though, so it would not be economical for you to attempt the same thing. I can think of two things of value that you might be able to provide. If you know how to make any unique alchemical concoctions that most do not know about, they may trade for it. Otherwise, glass bottles, flasks, and vials would be a good option. I know not from where you acquire your glass containers, but they hold liquid far better than waterskins." Meesei recommended. There really was not much that an Argonian village needed to get from the outside, so she could not think of much more that would be helpful to Ariel.
We may want to consider posting this collab up soon. Since people are separating off in it, we can just move to normal posting.
When Ariel asked about nomadic Argonian villages, Meesei nodded, having found a topic she knew quite a lot about. "I admit, you know much more of the merchant's trade than myself, but I can say that nomadic villages will trade with cities, at least some of them. Of course, customs vary from village to village, but in my village, we sent envoys to trade with the cities we passed once every few months. Pretty much every village can produce everything they need themselves, but those who are not isolationist will often trade our excess supplies for useful items we cannot produce. One thing you should know, however, is that many villages do not like to trade in gold. Some will, but most would rather barter directly for useful items. I would recommend making sure you have some physical good to trade them. As for getting into contact with them in the first place, that may be more difficult. In my village, we only traded with a few select merchants in each city. You would need to set yourself apart from other merchants in order for them to want to trade with you. I doubt they would ever really trust you, but they would do business with you."
"Excellent. The total for all of you will be twenty gold. I will get started right away." Rukeewei said before leaving to set up his cooking pots.

Since they had some time to wait before they could eat, Meesei figured it would be a good time to get a sense of what everyone else would be doing that day, even if Lorag and Ahnasha had not yet arrived. There were meant to be various competitions that day in which anyone could participate, although she was not sure exactly how one would enter. Meesei was still undecided on whether she wanted to actually enter anything or not, but she definitely was going to accompany Ariel to her meeting, if at all possible. She wanted to see for herself if Ariel could get the loan she needed, and help in any way she could.

"So, Ariel, you have your meeting with the An-Xileel today, correct? If you get the loan you are looking for, do you have any ideas on how you are going to get a supplier for your alchemical ingredients? That is the biggest unknown I see right now, and I think it is definitely something to think about." Meesei asked. There was no way Ariel would be able to gather all the ingredients herself, both because it would be too time intensive of a task, and due to the danger of the marsh. Many plants and animals that lived in Morrowind also lived in northern Black Marsh, so she wouldn't be completely out of her element in terms of ingredients, but there were also ingredients that were found only in the marsh that she would need to get used to.
Had the door not creaked when she entered, Lorag likely would not have noticed Runt entered. Although his face did not show it, he was excited to see her. He gladly accepted the potion and downed it almost immediately. "Thanks Runt." He said simply, letting out a sigh of relief.

Rukeewei greeted Ariel as she sat down at the table, then nodded to Janius. "Alright, guar chops for you. For you Ariel, I can make another batch of stew and substitute in saltrice instead of slaughterfish meat, if that sounds appealing to you?" He said before turning to Fendros. "Both wamasu eggs and meat are safe for non-Argonians, but as a fair warning, it is expensive. The eggs are rather difficult to obtain, so one will cost thirty gold, if you still want it. As for the rest of the meal, the total so far is twelve gold."

Meesei gave Fendros a bit of a stern look. She had killed wamasu before and had tasted of their eggs. While she was quite fond of them and could definitely understand why they would be expensive, she really did not wish to spend that much on their breakfast.
Lorag groaned once more when Ariel spoke to him. Noticing that Runt wasn't in her bed, he got up and sat himself down on it to get out of the sun. "Ah, I need one of those potion things Runt makes, and some water, and...a blindfold or something."

Meesei dressed herself and headed downstairs to join the others. The main room was more crowded than it had been since they arrived, though it would most likely empty once the patrons returned to the festivities. Rukeewei was once again behind the bar serving his customers. Meesei took a seat at the table with the others, which was quiet until Fendros asked about breakfast.

"I am still not greatly familiar with customs here. Is it uncommon for inns to serve meat?" Meesei asked. Meanwhile, Rukeewei was quite proactive when he heard the table mention wanting breakfast. As soon as he served one of his other customers, he approached their table with his usual friendly smile. "Good morning everyone. If you are interested in breakfast, I can serve you here if you do not wish to have your breakfast at the festival. I may not have the same kind of selection, but most vendors elevate their prices during the festival. My prices on food are the same as they always are, at least for local foods. I have had to increase my price on anything imported, due to the increased cost of buying them."

Meesei returned Rukeewei's smile. "Good morning. Do you happen to serve meat at your inn?"

Rukeewei nodded. "Of course, I have a fair local selection, it will just take a bit of time to prepare. Guar chops, slaughterfish stew, histcarp, opah fish, crocodile tail, and hackwing legs are all inexpensive options. If you are looking for more expensive local meats, I do have shark fillets, and, true to my inn's name, I am quite good at preparing wamasu eggs."

"Hmm, I would like a bowl of slaughterfish stew." Meesei responded almost immediately. She did not put too much thought into her choice; she simply wanted something cheap, and it had been quite a long time since she had eaten any sort of stew.

"Right away. Would anyone else like to have something?" Rukeewei asked, turning his attention to the others.
Ssarak Dyreackthanose
Ssarak walked over and grabbed his vest from beside his bed. "If I had any plans, yesterday cancelled them. I do not believe I could, in good conscious, do nothing while the college could use my help. If you are going to help with repairs, then I will be right there with you. I am sure there are plenty of roles we can fill, though...I am fairly certain I know what kind of task they will have me performing. When you look like I do, there is really not much mystery in what others expect you to be capable of."

As much as Ssarak wished he could keep a joking mood, there were other worries he had that he was sure Meirin shared. In the aftermath of the attack, there was still much they did not know, and a few questions Ssarak desperately wanted answers to. "I would also like to stop by the infirmary later, after it has calmed down enough that we will not be disrupting them with our presence. I want to know how many of my friends survived, and how many are injured. With all the chaos yesterday caused, I fear it might be days before we know for sure who did not make it."
