Ahnasha shrugged her shoulders. "Not really, there wasn't all that much time between me returning to the festival and us leaving. I did buy another one of those pastries, which was a great way to avoid having to share my food. People there were quite sociable, and I did end up talking to a few strangers. Some locals, some visitors. I almost always ended up getting congratulated on our child, which got rather old, to be honest. I don't quite know why she was at the festival in the first place, but a priestess of Dibella complimented my appearance, so I suppose that was nice. Apparently, this dress 'accents my natural beauty', or something."

As the group entered the inn, both Meesei and Lorag wasted no time in getting upstairs to pack their belongings. They had spent more coin than Meesei was used to over the past few days, but with how much they made off the silver weapons, there was still enough left over to suit their needs. One issue they were going to face was that they would need to go hunting as soon as they were out in the marsh, as their food supplies were not especially high, and it would be expensive to buy enough meat during the festival. She was not worried, however, especially considering that they were now in the part of Tamriel she was most familiar with.
Ssarak Dyreackthanose
As much as Ssarak wanted to speak to the people he knew, he did not want to put himself in the way of the infirmary staff. Besides, most of them likely needed rest, and simply seeing them alive would be enough to put his mind at ease. A few of the friendly faces he saw came from Satori's psychomancy class, and at least none of those seemed to be in mortal danger. Of course, there were others from his classes that were not present, which meant they were either fine, or they were deceased. Time would be the only way to determine which was the case. Apart from Lidda, he could see no teachers in the room, though there were guards, staff, and other college officials. He even saw the headmaster, Khan, recovering from the wounds he sustained during the previous night's events. He also spotted Mar in the infirmary, along with her child. From the outside, both her and her child seemed to be in good health for their circumstances. From what Leith had said, she had been attacked not only by demons, but by the other Naga, Xyden, as well. Ssarak could not fathom what would provoke such an attack against the mother of a newborn child, but he hoped Xyden received proper punishment for his actions.

The person Ssarak saw who he was most concerned about was Alaira. She was not conscious and, by the attention the staff was giving her, not responsive as well. He could see that she was breathing, so she was certainly alive, but of all the people he recognized, she looked to be in the worst shape. He could not admit to knowing her too well, but anyone who knew Alaira knew that her talents in combat was one of the defining features of her personality. The fact that she was in her current state underscored how dangerous the demons they faced could be.

Once he had looked around the infirmary enough, Ssarak left to return to Meirin and Leith outside. As he approached the group, he noticed an unfamiliar individual in a guard uniform speaking to the pair. Ssarak walked up beside Meirin and gave the guardsman a nod.

"Greetings." He said politely before looking down to Meirin. "I saw a few people I knew in the infirmary. The headmaster was there, wounded, but recovering. I saw Mar and her child; both appeared in good health, all things considered. Alaira seemed to be in a much more dubious state, however. She was alive, but was unconscious and did not appear responsive. I intend to return to check on her when the infirmary is less crowded. One person I did not see was Aruna. I know she did not return to your room last night, so I hoped to find her recovering in there. Hopefully, she is unharmed and simply found another place to stay for the night due to the chaos."

Commander, I thought you should be aware that should Tyrael ever find Ssarak within the presence of Lyn or at least brings a conversation with Lyn in it, he will inform him that Ssarak is to be a obligated guardian of Lyn. Seeing that without Ssarak's ever so loving presence, Lyn would have never been born (So soon). Basically Tyrael thinks that Ssarak is just as responsible for Lyn's birth as Athalus is, after that whole Aphrodisiac Breath thing. What I'm saying is that you need to be more involved in Lyn's life. You helped make her after all.

Alright, though at the present moment, with Fallen's internet situation being so precarious, I think I'll have him go back outside to the others this time. Hopefully, Fallen's situation will end up improving.
I looked back, you are correct.

He should know, he and Annabeth went to get Lyn presents.

They went to get presents because Annabeth felt it was appropriate since Mar was expecting a child, not because she had already been born. That I do remember.
I can't seem to remember if Ssarak knew about Lyn being born. I think the last time he saw Mar was before it happened, so he wouldn't know about it.
I'm going to make an educated guess that the vitamancy teacher would be in the infirmary at the moment, as it would certainly need her help.
After a while of Ariel dealing with customers, Rukeewei approached her when she had a moment free. "I wish I could stay, but I really need to get back to the inn and take over for my brother for the night. I'm looking forward to tomorrow, though; I'll see you then." He said with a smile before taking his leave. The had thinned out some, but there were still others browsing the shop, and Meesei was starting to feel like they were getting in the way. At the very least, they weren't, and really couldn't, contribute anything at the moment. As a result, she glanced around at the others, then approached Ariel herself.

"We should probably head back as well. We need to gather our belongings to prepare to leave. I promise we won't leave the city without giving you a chance to say goodbye, though; we'll wait until after you close up your shop for the day." Meesei explained.

Ahnasha was glad to see that Fendros had at least mostly recovered. It was frightening to see him in such a mentally compromised state. To Ahnasha, seeing someone in mental anguish was even worse than physical injury. At least with wounds, she could easily quantify how badly someone was hurt, and how easy it would be to heal them. Mental injuries, however, were nowhere near the same. In this case, she knew he would face no permanent harm, apart from the risk of addiction. "Not really, you didn't have much time to say or do anything before I got you back to our room. I just hope you don't start feeling any cravings for more of the stuff. I ate the pastry, so there is no more to be had, but withdrawal symptoms can be...unpleasurable." She answered just as they entered the shop, though from the way everyone was gathering up, it seemed like they arrived just as everyone was leaving.
I know I said I would post today, but now that I have my answer, I'll be able to post after I wake up tomorrow. Just too tired right now.
I would prefer to have word on my question before posting.
