I should probably have mentioned somewhere that cloaking technology does exist in a form that allows people and small vehicles to become invisible, though it does not usually work against all wavelengths of light, so the gauntlet would have that advantage.

As long as it is the human government sending him, it makes sense for him to be there. The initiative itself is not secret per ce, but neither is it advertised to the public, at least not at the current, early stage.

I can think of a good explanation for why they would still make that program. Of course, Srath himself wouldn't be aware of it.

Good to see everyone acting like pirates. I wouldn't expect Sharee to spare the whip if she finds out, though. That being said, she probably fully expects and doesn't actually care if people get some income on the side, but she has to keep up good discipline.

As Serge left the room, Sharee got up to collect the gold from her chest, a hiding place she would have to change since Noelle was seeing her access it. Or at least, she thought she might have to change it. Noelle seemed trustworthy enough, as well as generally appealing. In fact, as she was walking to the chest at the foot of her bed, she started to walk seductively without even realizing it. Her movements became suggestive, and until she counted out the proper amount of gold, she kept glancing back at her. It wasn't until she stood back up and turned back to face Noelle that she realized what she had been doing.

Sharee stopped for a moment as she thought. This was not normal, even for her. She never trusted other people in matters of gold and her personal wealth, so the fact that the thought had even come to her mind made her suspicious. She could explain away her sudden attraction to Noelle, but not the sudden trust. She could ignore it no longer, this was something she had to figure out. If Noelle was trying to trick her somehow, it would not go unpunished. Sharee walked up to Noelle, this time with an intentional suggestive walk. "Yes, actually. I'm looking to figure out why I have the sudden and strong urge to take you to my bed." She answered. This mystery was going to be solved, here and now.

I won't move us to shore quite yet, since you and lucius seem to be having a back and forth. I will do it afterwards, though, since we need to get our new recruits in a timely manner.
