I have a feeling I can't adequately describe what this place looks like.
Sharee considered the suggestions. Both had merit, though neither were perfect, though she doubted there was any "perfect" option here. She liked the invisibility suggestion from Noelle, especially if they could slip in under the surface of the water, and dividing their attention as Sarel said would be smart. The problem was, there was no way they could just get inside and get behind them. The bandits were essentially up against a wall, with stone on three sides and ocean on the fourth. There was no getting around the fact that they would have to swim in, and that would make them easy targets for archers. She would have brought rowboats, but that would just make it very obvious that they were approaching. Coming down from above was also an interesting idea, though they would be falling into water below.

"I like the idea of splitting their attention, but there's a problem. They don't have a real reason to leave their cove. If they try coming out in whatever boats they have, they would be at just as much of a disadvantage as we would be going in, so if they have any talent at all, they'll stay and fight defensively. Maybe take a bit of both for this one. We could split into two groups, then slip in under the water to opposite sides of the docks. We climb up as quickly as we can, then establish positions on both sides of them. We'll have them surrounded, so their numbers won't be as useful. Having some magic to help us would be helpful, but invisibility sounds like it would be taking to apply to all of us. Maybe the weaker variant? What is called, chameleon I think? Anyway, that would let us get in without having to swim under fire, and it would let us surround them." Sharee suggested. She of course had the final say, but she wasn't vain enough to think the others didn't have any good ideas.
The few hours until daylight were relatively smooth and uneventful. Ahnasha likely would not have been able to sleep had Meesei not agreed to take care of Rhazii for a few hours. Hopefully, she would be able to get some sleep later that night as well, as long as Fendros agreed to look after Rhazii. After what she had just been through, she figured it was fair to ask for that much. She was not ready to start moving yet, but luckily, they had no particular reason to move in a hurry. They could stand to have more food on hand, but there was nothing stopping the others from hunting. Getting to Stormhold quickly had been a stressful goal, but now, that stress was gone. They would still probably end up in the city, as they needed to send Sabine's letter, but they did not have to rush any longer.

Meesei gave Rhazii back to Ahnasha once she awoke, and she was more than glad to take him. There was something comforting about holding him close in her arms, something that just made everything seem so peaceful...though that might just have been the fact that the only time he would stop crying was in her arms. As Meesei was gathering the remainder of their food for breakfast, she answered Janius' question. "Until Hircine gives us further direction, we will travel to Stormhold and do what we can to make raising Rhazii easier. I do not know how likely it is, but local bookstores may have something on the subject. My own experience with raising children will be less helpful now than it will be in a few years, as I am assuming Argonian infants are somewhat different from those of Khajiit."

As Meesei spoke, Ahnasha moved herself over to Fendros and sat beside him. She leaned up against him and rested her head on his shoulder with Rhazii in her arms. For the moment, he was sleeping and quiet. If what Ahnasha knew about infants was true, then moments like that would be all too rare. "Such a cute little cub. I wonder what he will look like when he gets older? I think it takes time for markings to start to appear in the fur. They will start to show once he starts developing into his Khajiit form in a few weeks."
Ghirn picked up after Srath's question. "That is one of the strangest parts about this incident, actually. These insurgents have made no demands, no attempts at communication despite ample opportunity. The only reason we know they are taking hostages is because one of our scouting vessels was able to remote in to some interior cameras for a while before they discovered the vulnerability and shut it down. The other half of your mission will be to uncover information about these insurgents, if at all possible. Your primary concern is of course the hostages, but anything else you learn could save lives down the road."

Pausing for a moment, Ghirn highlighted a few features on the station of interest, including automated weaponry, hangers, and various routes of travel. "As for their equipment, we do not have a great deal of information in that regard. In the video feeds we tapped into, we saw their members carrying projectile, plasma, and fusion weapons of widely diverse styles, some civilian variants, some military. Likely, they are just armed with whatever they could purchase on the black market. Of course, with the size of the illegal arms trade, that means they could be well-armed. We are assuming they have access to the automated defenses, but it should not matter. The company who built the station has fortified every backdoor they built into their systems to us. We can outfit your ship to emit a signal that will cause the station to both identify you as friendly, and to keep you hidden on their sensors. When you are inside, you are authorized to kill any and all insurgents necessary, but if you can capture any of their members, especially officers, it will be helpful in learning more about them.. There is evidence that this organization is larger than just this group. We have appropriated a ship for your use. It is in the Trer'ahn spaceport on the other side of Concord, dock 26-D. You will be leaving tomorrow; it should be ready by then. Now, i believe that is everything we have to discuss. You all may return to your apartments if you wish, or remain if you have any questions for myself or my fellow representatives."
I'll attempt to post today, if possible. Plenty of work for my classes. Perhaps I should not have taken two more than last semester.
I'll be getting to a response soon. I'm not at home at them moment.
In stark contrast to the pained screams she had let out only minutes ago, Ahnasha gave the widest smile upon taking her son into her arms. On instinct, she bought him up to her breast to allow him to nurse, which quieted him almost immediately. His tiny form seemed exceptionally cute to her, especially now that he was cleaned up. The pregnancy, all the weakness and pain she had been through, was now over, and a new chapter was beginning in her life, as well as Fendros'. It was going to be a great responsibility to raise him, on top of their responsibilities to the pack. She did not know what was going to happen, but there was no going back, and looking at her son now, there was no way anyone could convince her to even if it was possible.

"Yes, Rhazii. Our son Rhazii. Just look at him; he is so...adorable doesn't begin to describe it. Right now, I feel...terrible, but I also feel great. Holding him in my arms is just...great." Ahnasha said, rubbing Rhazii's back gently.
"A son." Ahnasha echoed, still partially incapacitated from her ordeal. The daze she was in meant she was still staring straight up at the clouds as the aching and pain in her body started to dissipate. She did, however, glance for a moment over to the cub in his arms and gave a light smile. Meanwhile, Meesei started removing the filthy blankets from underneath Ahnasha and replacing them with clean ones. Ahnasha herself also could stand to be cleaned up, but she needed to take a few moments to recover.

Meesei wanted to get the child cleaned up quickly, so she took the time to soak one of their furs in the nearest river for the task. Among lycans, even an infant was immune to most disease, so it would be perfectly safe. She returned to the new parents after a few minutes and offered the blanket to Fendros. "Here, you can use this to clean him up." She explained before quickly stepping back to allow the pair time together. By this point, Ahnasha had recovered enough that she was now sitting up and completely aware of her surroundings.

Ahnasha was still coming to terms with the idea that she had a son. She had been carrying him, they had talked about it constantly over the past few months, but now he was here, right in front of her. Like all Khajiit newborns, he was small and had not yet started growing into the form he would eventually take. Like herself, he had light brown fur. There were no markings on his body, though they could still form over time. The child had been crying since the moment it was born, and was still crying as Fendros was cleaning him off. She finally turned her gaze away from the child's face and to Fendros'. "Let me hold him." She said simply.
Ah, alright.
Do Khajiit get red eyes? I'm not sure.
