I suppose I could assume everyone arrives and take us to the ship.
Lorag shook his head slightly, still not turning to look back at Fendros. "I don't expect an elf like you to get it. You've got, what? Three, four hundred more years before your body even starts to slow down. I've got nothing more after now. I'm as strong as I've ever been, but I'm never getting better. Every year I'm alive, I'm going to have to fight a bit harder just to try to keep up with what I used to be. I'm not a mage like the Alpha who'll just get stronger as time goes on, I'm just going to get slower, and weaker. You know, when most Orcs his their prime, they go looking for the best fight they can get until they die a real warrior's death. I can understand it too; what's the point of being alive if you're just going to watch yourself rot away and die anyway?"

"Oh, thank you." The Argonian girl said in an obviously surprised tone as Sabine handed her a coin. She felt nervous in taking the coin, but did not know if it would be rude to refuse it. For the moment, she held on to it, as most people waited for him to be between songs. When Sabine asked her name, she readily gave her Jel name, but for a human, the particular combination of words was almost unpronounceable. "I know my name is sometimes hard for outsiders to say. You can also call me Reads-Many-Tales. It is an, uh...accurate name.".
Lorag huffed. "You would do well to remember your place, boy. Don't think I won't stomp your face into the ground if I think it deserves it." He threatened before turning away for a moment and looking out over the crowd. He was quiet for a good ten seconds. He gave no real indication of what was going through his mind, but whatever it was seemed to calm him at least marginally. As much as he would have welcomed a fight, he did at least acknowledge that he didn't want to cause any issues in the pack without a good reason. Without so much as turning to face Fendros, he finally spoke up after the long silence.

"I didn't know what day it was until I overheard a drunk mention it back in the tavern. It was about two weeks ago that I hit my thirty-third year." He said in a neutral tone.

The Argonian girl shook her head lightly. "Oh, no, not really. I just stopped on my way back from getting a book. I like stories, but I prefer...true stories. His music is nice, though. I usually give him a coin if I stay, but I don't have any more right now." She commented.
I like bringing in the other forms of Khajiit. You never know when the housecat is actually a Thalmor spy.
Hey Lucius, could you head over to the titanpad when you are able? I have a question for you.
At first, the Argonian girl wasn't sure that Sabine was speaking to her, but after a few seconds, she noticed that Sabine's eyes were firmly on her. She had to think for a moment to recall what she knew about the Redguard, but became more relaxed once she remember. "Oh, uh, I think his name is...Kanratu. He has been in Stormhold for...a month, maybe? I don't remember hearing him play before that. He plays Redguard music and likes to tell stories of his adventures to children. I think he makes most of them up, but they are still entertaining stories." She remarked.

"What? Nothing's wrong. Just you stopping me from dealing with that scum." Lorag retorted unconvincingly as they started walking away, completely ignoring the conman despite his protests. He didn't want Fendros' sympathy, or anyone's for that matter. In his mind, it wasn't as if Fendros could even really understand what was going on. Lorag said not another word and instead just looked around at the crowd, hoping to find trouble. He wanted Fendros to drop it, but honestly did not expect that to happen.
As fortune would have it, their attack was quick enough to catch the bandits off-guard. Serge and Sarel charged past her to meet a few of them head on, which was fine by her. Malakaus and his team were having similar success on the other side of the dock, so they were quickly pushing in towards the door. Sharee saw that Serge and Malakaus were clashing with two of the bandits who were back to back just outside the door, so she decided to seize the opportunity for a few easy kills. Running up alongside Serge, she thrust her cutlass straight at his side. It was, of course, fairly easy for him parry away such a direct strike with his lance, but a few seconds of distraction was all Serge needed to bury his blade in his neck. The bandit's body did not even have time to hit the ground before Sharee dashed forward towards their final foe, who was facing down Malakaus. As she was approaching from behind the bandit, her attack this time was far more deadly. Her precisely aimed strike stabbed into his back through his heart, and would have come out the other side had it not been caught on a rib.

The last bandit, a Bosmer woman made a break for the door to hold up in the cave, which in turn triggered Noelle and Corrira's trap. She hit the frenzy rune first, then fell immediately into the frost rune, creating an explosion of ice that stabbed into her flesh and froze a portion of the water in her body. She was bleeding and weakened to the point that she could scarcely breathe, but also enraged enough to attack the first person she saw, in this case an Altmer man emerging from within the cave. She lashed out with an admittedly weak strike from her dagger, but it was enough to cut a gash through his leather clothing into his torso. He screamed out in both pain and surprise, but it was not a lethal blow, so he was able to kick the dying Bosmer woman to the ground and scramble back into the cave.

The Altmer was weakened and would prove an easy kill, so she tried quickly to follow him into the cave, but she stopped in her tracks just outside when she peered into the passage. The Altmer had managed to get behind one of his allies before he collapsed to the ground, an ally that she would want to think twice about taking head-on. About fifteen feet into the passage, she saw a Khajiit, and not a Suthay-raht as most Khajiit were that they commonly dealt with. This was a Cathay-raht. He was at least eight feet tall and appeared stronger and more massive than even Malakaus. His armor was mostly chainmail with a few heavier plates on his chest, but his sword was long enough to be a two-hander for a smaller race, and he could easily protect most of his body with his massive tower shield. Even more than his appearance, though, Sharee took caution at the manner he carried himself. He wasn't frantic like the other bandits, he was calm, collected. He had an air of confidence about him that did not seem to be born of arrogance. From the way the two or three bandits hiding behind him were acting, he was their leader, their best fight, or, mostly likely, both. To make matters worse, they couldn't just rush him all at once to overwhelm him, as the passage was only wide enough for one, maybe two of them to go through at a time.

"Hold up, don't rush in!." Sharee ordered. Waiting just outside the door, she reached into her potion bag and grabbed one of her poisons. The glass flask was about a fifth of the way full with a dark, green liquid, but it was not any normal sort of poison. Instead of applying it to her blade, she tossed it inside the cave and allowed it to shatter at the large Khajiit's feet. Upon impact, the volatile substance was disturbed enough to boil from its unstable liquid state into a green cloud of gas. The Khajiit and his allies behind him breathed in the poison, which had the effect of draining its victim's stamina, making them more prone to exhaustion. Sharee had two other flasks like it with her, one for magicka and another for stamina, but she would hopefully not need them.

Even if he was poisoned, the Khajiit would still be difficult to take down. Plus, any of Sharee's allies that ran in would be caught in the gas as well if they didn't wait a few seconds, so attacking from a distance would be best for now. "Don't go in until the gas clears; weaken him with magic." She ordered.
Meesei responded to Sabine's question with an enthusiastic smile. She too had heard a part of the music as they passed. It wasn't a style she had heard before, so it would be new to her. It wouldn't be like the festival in Thorn, where a crowd of people gathered to dance, but it would nevertheless be entertaining. "Certainly. Music is something that changes in every city, every village. I...think it is a custom to leave some gold if you stay to listen long enough, so be aware. I was yelled at for that once in Cyrodiil." She warned as they walked along. Even above the rumbling of the crowd, she could hear and follow the music to its source. As before, there was a crowd surrounding the musician, so it might be that whoever it was would be too busy to actually talk, but Sabine might find someone in the crowd who was willing to have a chat.

Lorag turned away from the Argonian when Fendros tugged on his arm, though he kept a firm hand on his coinpurse. His anger did not seem to diminish as he responded in a tone just under a yell. "What do you mean, not worth it? What, you want to just keep this scum on the street? Or do you just think I'm not good enough to handle it? You think I'm just a soldier only good for bashing in skulls? Or do you even think I can do that? I've got news for you, boy, I'm not useless, not yet. I can put down these scum with words or fists." He barked, finally giving some hint as to what was on his mind; it wasn't the conman that was truly agitating him.
"That would be the location of her shop. Hmm, I think I remember it. Let me see the quill a moment." Meesei requested. She remembered reading the address when Ariel signed for the loan, but It had been quite a while since they had been in Thorn. She was not completely certain that the address she remembered was the correct one.

Seeing her hesitation, the Argonian woman chimed in. "If you cannot remember right address, you can put directions in comment section at the bottom. Our couriers are...resourceful. They will be finding it." She said reassuringly.

Meesei nodded and complied to the suggestion. She still gave the address as best as she could remember, but also wrote in directions at the bottom of the form, which she knew to be much more accurate .The fact that she knew the name of Ariel's shop would also help the courier find her. Once finished, she took out her coinpurse to start counting out the payment, as well as handed the form to Sabine for her to check over, which would also allow her to be the one to finalize the delivery.

Lorag cast his watchful eye onto every single thug-like group they passed, almost as if he was eying down a predators in the wilds. He was certainly serving his purpose by intimidating them, but every time they turned their heads and let the pair pass unhindered, Lorag looked almost disappointed. It didn't seem like anyone was going to disturb them, a least until the shifty-looking Argonian came up to them asking about a ring. Fendros was content just to ignore him and move on, but Lorag gave a subtle grin. He had no intention of going anywhere just yet, this was just what he had been wanting. That wasn't to say he didn't know what was going on. It might have been a few decades, but he grew up in Cheydinhal, he knew all these cheap scams. Plus, it wasn't like a lycan was going to own a silver ring.

"You tryin' to take me for a fool, lizard? What, you surprised I know your scheme, or surprised I care enough not to walk away? You're the worst kind of scum; at least a bandit has enough courage to fight for what he steals. You have to resort to trickery. You should do yourself a favor and throw yourself into whatever jail this city has before you make me any angrier." Lorag said in a stern, threatening tone.
We might be able to collab it. I'll attempt to post before going to bed, but both today and yesterday have been long and exhausting. Luckily, tomorrow is a short day for me.
