alright, send me a message with a link to a thing
Since it has been a while without much exciting happening, I think I'll do a timeskip tomorrow to get us near the mission. If you want to have your characters do anything, I would do it before then.
After a while of exchanging introductions and short conversations, the Captain eventually dismissed his officers to prepare for takeoff, so the rest of the team was free to go to their rooms, or explore any other part of the ship that caught their interest. Meanwhile, Rareth and Shiva neared the officers' quarters, though Shiva's question certainly motivated her not to rush. She could already see where Shiva was going with this, but for now, she simply answered the question. "Well, in general, the response is to imprison, then rehabilitate them. Depending on the crime, that could take quite a while. No crime carries a death sentence with the Rothian government, and the last recorded execution of that nature was from before the time we achieved space flight. The only time we use lethal force is if the criminal cannot be safely captured, like if they have an army of mercenaries, or soldiers, or something. Sometimes, agents of the Rah'Masser who specialize in sleath and infiltration might be sent to deal with well-defended targets. Why do you ask...does it have something to do with your mark?" She asked, once again without any sort of accusation in her tone. Instead, her voice carried a bit more in the way of sympathy. She seemed to imply that she committed some crime against the state, but considering that Rareth wasn't particularly fond of the "state" in question, that might not be a bad thing.
As Ahnasha rocked Rhazii in her arms, his eyes grew sleepy and he started to calm. Hopefully, he would drift off to sleep soon...and stay that way. "Well, with the eyes you gave him, it's about time to see something in him that he got from me...other than the fur, tail, claws, whiskers, and...you know, everything else about him." After a few minutes more of rocking, it finally seemed that he had drifted off. Perhaps with the constant sound of the river nearby, he wouldn't be too disturbed by any additional noise. As gently as possible, she wrapped him in a few furs for warmth and comfort and set him down in a soft patch of grass next to her. She would move him back to camp soon, but she wanted to make sure he would stay asleep first.

As per usual, Kaleeth transformed, then they sought out the nearest river, on the opposite side of camp from Ahnasha and Fendros. She slipped underneath the murky surface, allowing herself to lie in wait for her prey. Some time passed with no sign of prey and she moved upstream for a while, then waited once more, again with the same result. This was not an uncommon occurrence in her hunts, as some waterways had little more than small fish that would hardly serve as a fitting meal for a werecrocodile. When that occurred, they simply moved on to find another river, which was what Kaleeth did in this case as well. She climbed out of the water agitated, but still in control, with the others following behind. Rivers were never far away in Black Marsh, so it should not have been too difficult to find another, but fate had something else in mind for this hunt.

The pack had not made camp too far from the road they were traveling along, so Kaleeth accidentally ended up crossing it. Under most circumstances, this wouldn't have been an issue, as it was unlikely to randomly cross paths with another at a crossing on any part of a road in Black Marsh, but this time, the lesser chance proved true. Kaleeth caught a scent which caused her to perk up.. She wasn't a land predator, but the scent of prey wasn't something her beast would ignore. In her normal form, she might have recognized it, but all her beast spirit could smell was prey. To the others, though, they would know she was approaching a Human.
Sharee did not look upset. In fact, she was quite pleased with their responses. They were what she expected based on Malakaus' descriptions, which meant they were being honest. She wasn't going to start singling their praises or anything, but she could articulate that she was satisfied with their progress. Additionally, she needed to reinforce the idea that she was their superior from by giving them direct orders from time to time, else they start forming more loyalty towards Malakaus than herself. She didn't have any specific orders for them at the moment, but there was one thing she was curious about that she wouldn't mind figuring out.

"Good, that's about what Malakaus described. I needed to know that you are up front about your limitations .I don't care if you can't fight; we can teach you that. I care that you don't exaggerate your skills to me. Boast all you want in the tavern, but I need to know what you can and can't do. Everyone on this ship, whether I actually send you out to fight or not, are going to be trained to do it. Got to be able to defend yourself against boarders, after all. But since you're starting to make a name for yourselves, literally, then I want to see exactly where you're at. To that end, I want to spar with each of you, to see for myself exactly where you are. I'll make my judgements on things not related to fighting later. This early on, I need to know how you stand on the basics." Sharee explained. Indeed, she would be able to get a sense of their abilities by sparring with them, but more than that, it could serve as a form of intimidation by demonstrating her own fighting skill, in case they ever had thoughts of betrayal.
I need to go to class, but will respond when I get home.
Sharee was seated at the table in her quarters when Malakaus' men finally entered. Most of them seemed to have an air of nervousness about them, which did make sense, considering their captain called them to meet with her for no obvious reason. There wasn't enough chairs at her table for them all to have a seat, so she did not bother offering.

"Ah, there you all are. Come in, and close the door behind you." She said, giving them a few moments to get settled before continuing. "So, Malakaus has been telling me about you; his "Typhoon Warriors," as he calls you. He said he put you in charge while we were gone, and since the ship is still in one piece and not on fire or something, I'm going to assume you succeeded. Malakaus has told me you do good work, but he has also told me all about your flaws. I want you each to tell me, what are you good at, and what are you not good at. And please...be honest." Sharee requested in a tone that made a polite question seem minorly threatening. So far, she hadn't praised nor berated, so what she was going for in this meeting would not yet be obvious.
Rareth walked along with Shiva in the direction of their quarters, following the schematics of the vessel she had downloaded to her device. She had been on Rothian military vessels such as this one countless times, though this one was particularly new. The walls were a pristine white color, with a few changes in pattern to prevent it from seeming monotonous. The smooth, flowing architecture was familiar to her, along with the general layout of the vessel.

As they walked, Rareth decided to bring up, in a casual tone, the conversation between her and the Communications Officer. "So, I heard the Comms Officer talking to you about that mark on your head. I assumed it was just a tattoo. What is it about? Does it tell where you are from, or something?" She asked with no particular suspicion in her voice, merely curiosity.
I just realized that mutton responded to me. I may respond tonight, if not, then tomorrow.
I'll give some time for the others to have their conversations. Plus, I have some work I need to do.
