At the pace Shir was rushing through the halls, it was not long before she came across another. He disposed of a few ambushing clones, but they were hardly out of danger. They were near to the atrium, which was undoubtedly under heavy attack. As she was fighting ranged opponents, she had both of her sabers in hand and active, as there was no disadvantage to carrying two blades when deflecting blaster bolts.

Shir nodded to the other Jedi, still keeping her senses tuned to movement around them. "Agreed, we stand a better chance together, but this attack...we cannot fight them, not directly. These clones are the army of the Republic, which we are at the very center of. We cannot fight them, not directly. I have fought by the side of clones like these, and they are designed to be perfectly loyal. They were ordered to attack us, and all other clones will certainly do the same. We need to find as many of the others as we can, then escape not just the Temple, but the Republic itself." Shir said. As hard as it was to find someone in a place as massive as Coruscant, Shir did not think for a moment that they would be able to be safe anywhere on the planet. They had to escape Corsucant completely, but first, they needed to get out of the Temple itself. The clones would no doubt have all of the obvious exits blocked, so they would likely need to be creative.
"Hmm, strange." Ahnasha commented in regards to Rhazii. She would not have thought herself able to stay asleep through Rhazii's cries. She wondered if it was something that should worry her, but for the moment, she was more interested in the fact that Fendros had a dream. She thought that the medicine was meant to supress all dreaming, but if he had a dream, that meant it either did not work, or was not perfect. Still, she supposed that one night really was not enough to tell for sure. "I doubt we will really know until we give it a few nights to work. Like you said, we could have been lucky. Still, even if it just reduces the nightmares, we will be able to get some relief."

Meesei moved a bit closer to Sabine and watched her as she worked on the cure. Meesei only had a small amount of knowledge on alchemy, which was mostly what she had gathered from watching Sabine in the past. For the most part, it was not a subject that had captured near as much of her interest as magic itself, but she wondered exactly what it would take to learn. Given how much practice it took to become a master alchemist, she doubted it was as simple as following a recipe like cooking. In any case, she stopped focusing on such speculation once Sabine responded to her. Meesei lightly placed her hand on Sabine's shoulder and gave a slight grin. "Well, there is only one way to improve, is there not?"

Kaleeth wanted to ask more questions, but she also wanted to avoid making any more noise than was necessary. She was not entirely sure if she should be angry at someone for not telling her this would happen, the uncertainty coming mostly from the fact that she could hardly concentrate on her thoughts. She at least partially remembered the previous night, and she remembered enjoying it, but with the pain she was feeling, there was no way it could be worth it. Still with her hands rubbing her temple, she finally groaned an answered. "Don't worry." She said, covering her head in her bedroll and pressing her hands over her ears to suppress the light and sound. "I'm not going anywhere."
Once she accessed the terminal, there was little she actually had to do herself, as she had been given a program to search automatically for the proper data. The owners of the station were obviously familiar with its own system architecture, so it quickly searched through the database and pulled up information it thought might be relevant. All Rareth had to do was to was look over the information the program found to see if it contained hostage locations. It was less than a minute before she finally found what they had been looking for. As she suspected, the hostages were being held in makeshift prisons scattered across the station. There was no way for a single team to recover them all at once, but that was what the fleet was for.

"Alright, I have the locations, I'm marking them on the map now, along with the Hummingbird's location, and ours. I'm going to have to deactivate the radio jammer to send this to the fleet, so be ready." Rareth explained. With the press of a button on her own computer, she sent out the deactivation signal for the radio jammer, which opened up communications once more. Just as she did this, one of the others was getting ready to bind one of the prisoners, a Masulu man. He wore civilian clothing and did not seem to be armed, but as soon as he saw what Rareth was doing, he seemed to snap.

"You'll never stop us!" He shouted. All of the sudden, he teleported straight out from in front of Shuo and onto Rareth, tackling her to the ground. With telekinetically enhanced force, he thrust his head spike through her armor and into her chest, but just as he used magic to attack, so too did she to defend. She fought back with her own telekinesis to slow the spike to the point that it did not pierce any vital organs, then reached out and grabbed it with her own hands. She could outmatch him for strength, so he could force the spike no further into her, but the others could not safely shoot without a high chance of hitting her. As the others were rushing to help, she managed to teleport out from under him, taking herself just a few feet away. The others were clear to fire, but as they fired their first volley, he teleported out of the room, but in what direction they could not know.

Rareth was on the floor, her armor green from the bleeding wound in her chest. It was painful, but what was more disabling was the degree of magical exhaustion she was facing. She had poured a lot of effort into resisting the Masulu's strike, which, combined with the quick teleport, left her alarmingly fatigued. "Ah, this...someone, hurry and message the fleet. It should be ready to send on the terminal." She ordered, trying to keep her focus on the mission.
Ahnasha concentrated for a moment, trying to recall anything from the night, but nothing surfaced from within her mind. "I...no, I didn't. I can't recall anything, actually Does that mean it worked? How was your night, anything worrying?"

Once Kaleeth shouted from across camp, Rhazii awoke and began to cry shortly afterwards. Ahnasha quickly picked him up and started rocking him in her arms. For Kaleeth's sake, she needed to stop his screaming soon. Fortunately, it rarely took more than her loving embrace to accomplish that task. "I am surprised Rhazii didn't wake up in the night." Ahnasha commented casually.

"I do not think Ariel will be out of your life forever. If nothing else, you can always send her letters." Meesei said to Sabine in an attempt to comfort her, though Kaleeth's shouting interrupted the two. Sabine was quick to start work on something to help her, so Sabine went ahead and prepared breakfast for herself, as it appeared that Sabine had been eating. Still, she remained close by Sabine, just in case she felt the need to speak as she worked.

Kaleeth was confused about a great many things at the moment, but she did not question Janius when he said to drink the water. Once he said it could help, she snatched it out of his hand as if she had been without water for days. When its results failed to be instant, she found herself disappointed, and still in quite a bit of pain. "I am confused. Why is this happening, why do I need water, and what is drunk?" She asked, this time much more quietly.
Ahnasha awoke slowly, and with a sizable yawn. She was sluggish to sit up, gain her bearings, and remember where she was, but after a few minutes, she was reasonably alert. Fendros was already awake, though Rhazii was actually still sleeping. Once she recalled the medicine, she started to get a bit excited, as she could not remember waking suddenly at any point in the night. Actually, she remembered nothing at all from the night until she woke up. It was as if she had transferred herself from night to day in an instant. She wondered if Fendros' experience had been the same, or if her night had been simple luck.

"Good Morning." Ahnasha said to Fendros, yawning once more as she finished speaking.

Meesei awoke shortly after Sabine, and she quickly noticed her unsettled demeanor. There was little question as to what was troubling her, so Meesei knew that there was nothing she could really say that would suddenly make her feel better. Time would be the only thing which could console her, so for the moment, all Meesei could do was to give her some comfort by showing she was there for her. She slowly approached and sat down beside Sabine wordlessly, placing her hand gently on her back and looking down at her sympathetically.

Kaleeth's movement into consciousness was significantly less peaceful than Ahnasha's. The very moment she opened her eyes to the sunrise over the horizon, she cringed and covered her eyes in pain. "Ahh! Why is everything so bright? My head..." She began in a rather loud voice, which only served to exacerbate her already-splitting headache even further. She started to curl up from the headache, the likes of which she had never experienced before. She had only rarely had even minor headaches, so this was certainly an unwelcome surprise.
Kaleeth tried in vain to manipulate the strings on her dress she needed to untie, but did not have the fine motor control to actually loosen them. "I...yes, I think. I hate this thing. It is uncomfortable...and it doesn't make sense, and...and now it has sand in it. I should...throw it in the fire and steal your clothes." She answered to Janius. Slowly, she managed to sit herself up and move herself closer to him. Even in her current state, she had enough presence of mind to realize that she should probably be quiet, since everyone was trying to get to sleep. "I don't think I care if people think I'm strange anymore. I just...I'd rather be...not uncomfortable."

Ahnasha laid down beside Fendros once she finally managed to get Rhazii back to sleep. In the interest of not waking him up again, they only gave each other a quick kiss before laying down. For her, she had a mix of hope and worry for the medicine. Obviously, if it worked, it would be a great benefit to their mental well-being, but she did recall Ariel mentioning the possibility of memory loss as a side effect. Hopefully, the medicine did not interfere with their memories severely enough that they could no longer use it.
"Don't worry about it. I don't know all of what happened to your sister, but if she is getting better, then that is all that matters." Rukeewei answered before returning her kiss. Despite their awkwardness, Sabine's questions had been somewhat revealing to him. After a few moments, he wrapped his arms around her to give her a hug, then started to smile once she could no longer see his face.
"Oh, yes, okay." Kaleeth said, immediately forgetting the question she was answering. Janius placed her down, but she only managed to sit up for a few seconds before falling on her back in the sand. It was a clear night, and with no trees above them, she could see the stars a great deal more clearly than in most places in the marsh. In fact, apart from the previous night, it was the most complete and spectacular night sky she had ever seen. She had no knowledge of the constellations, but her mind did try to form its own shapes out of the stars above. "Is the sky always this bright? It looks brighter than normal; so many stars. I feel like I could stay here forever." She commented, trying to become more comfortable by unsuccessfully attempting to remove her dress.

Ahnasha tried her spoonful of the medicine directly after Fendros, though she did not like its taste near as much as Fendros seemed to. Still, it was tolerable, and as long as it stopped her nightmares, she could not care less how it tasted. "Ah...well, at least we only have to have a spoonful at a time. If this works, though, I might actually be comfortable with going to sleep for a change. Could you unpack our bedroll? I'm going to see if I can get Rhazii to sleep again. He at least seems like he is still tired."
"We will send a letter every time we reach a city." Meesei said reassuringly. "And I promise I will dedicate everything I can to raising her to be the fine young woman she is becoming. Even with her insatiable curiosity, she only has a few years to make up for lost time, so I swear that I will give her every lesson I can. I will never deny her the answer to any question, to any kind of knowledge she seeks. By the time she matures fully, I promise she will be at no disadvantage to anyone else. Goodnight, Ariel."

Meesei caught up to the others quickly after taking her leave. With how slowly Kaleeth was having to move, they had not gotten all that far. Night had fallen hours ago, not that anyone in the pack had trouble seeing. Although they did receive a few looks from a few suspicious looking individuals as they passed by, they were not bothered as they left the city, either because they were not actually criminals, or because the pack was too large of a group to bother.

The walk back to the location of their camp was going painfully slow at first, until Lorag recommended that Janius just pick up and carry Kaleeth. Immediately afterwards, she attempted to literally jump into his arms, only to fall flat on her face, though if it caused any pain, Kaleeth did not seem to feel it. She simply allowed Janius to pick her up off the ground so that they could continue at an improved pace to camp.

Once at their spot at the beach, Meesei started building their fire while the others quickly unpacked the bedrolls. Kaleeth was obviously in no condition to help, but she was making it difficult for Janius to put her down by keeping her arms wrapped tightly around him. "You...you should carry me more often." Kaleeth said blissfully.
Once Ahnasha had carefully collected Rhazii and the others had left the inn, Meesei made sure to stay behind to speak with Ariel. She wanted to make sure Sabine had plenty of time to talk with Ariel the next day, so this was likely to be the last conversation of any decent length which she would have with her. "I know I have said this many times before, but...I cannot overstate how helpful you have been to Sabine. Even before her ritual, you helped her to start opening up in a way I had not seen since I first met her. I just want you to know that, no matter what you think you did to her before, she is better now, and it is a large part because of you. It's just..." Meesei began, letting out a saddened sigh. "...tomorrow is very likely the last day you will see her. We are traveling far away and, well, you know what our responsibilities are. I just want you to never doubt that you have had a greatly beneficial impact on her life. With all of that being said, there is one thing that, even if you cannot see her face-to-face, might give some hope to at least speaking to her. I did not want to say anything before, so as not to get her hopes up unnecessarily, but there does exist magic that can transfer messages over a distance, enchantment mostly. Some of them can transfer simple thoughts, while others are advanced enough to act almost like a window to another place. Unfortunately, I do not know this magic, I only know of it. The closest I can create is an enchantment that can discern the location of the matching enchantment over a short range. It is possible that I might be able to find or create an enchantment like this and send it to you by courier, but understand that it will likely be years before that happens, if it ever happens at all. I wish I could give you a guarantee, but...I just want you to know that there is at least some hope."
"Hmm, I supposed it wasn't a complete paradise as I had heard, but still, it sounds quite interesting. I'll have to make sure to find out when one of those festivals is occurring if I ever travel there. It seems like that would be the best time to visit. And a tower that tall...I would love to see it for myself. Perhaps someday." Rukeewei commented.

The conversation continued for a while after everyone had finished their meal. Kaleeth even joined in to the best of her ability after failing spectacularly to steal Lorag's mead. It was not long, however, before the same fatigue Sabine was experiencing started to show in the others as well, particularly in Kaleeth and Janius, due to their intense training hours before. Combined with her intoxication, Kaleeth could hardly sit up straight any longer and had resorted to leaning on Janius for support.

Eventually, after a sufficient lapse in conversation, Meesei decided to give one last thanks to their hosts. "I believe it is close to time for us to return to camp. I would like to thank you again for inviting us here. I truly wish we did not have to leave so soon. If we ever find our way back to Thorn, then I will make sure the next round of wine is on us." She said with a smile. "Do you think you will have the time to see us off at the docks tomorrow?" She asked. Meesei could not imagine that it would be so easy for Ariel to say goodbye to Sabine, especially considering how far away they were traveling. Realistically, the chance of them ever returning to Thorn was slim. Meesei hoped to be able to catch Ariel alone to speak to her before they went back to camp.
