As per usual, Lorag's reaction wasn't as openly emotional as the others'. He gave a simple, respectful nod, but be was not without feeling at the situation. Ariel had been with them long enough that their final goodbye was something of a sad event to him, but he dealt with it internally, as wcith almost all of the pain he faced in life.

Both Meesei and Ahnasha were similar in that they had prior experience with voluntarily leaving those they cared about, but they were visibly saddened nonetheless. Even Meesei shed a few tears, mostly out of sympathy for Sabine. She wanted to say more in the way of a farewell to Ariel, but in the grand scheme of things, this moment would be best to remain focused on the two sisters. When they both looked back on it weeks, months, or years into the future, it would be their interaction with one another that they would remember the most.

Kaleeth did not have the same attachment to Ariel as any of the others, but even so, it affected her more deeply than any of the others except for Sabine. This farewell reminded her far too greatly of her own goodbyes to her family, memories which were till, relatively speaking, fresh on her mind. She had not wanted to leave her family, just as Sabine did not want to leave her sister, so she understood fully the pain of it all. Even though she did not know her very well, Kaleeth took Ariel's advice to heart. She wanted to be able to give some kind of advice in return to Ariel and Sabine to make their separation more bearable, but in truth, she had hardly even been able to deal with her own pain, so she had no advice to give.

Meesei could see that the crew of the ship were coming close to loading the last of their freight onto the ship, but she remained silent just a bit longer so that Sabine and Ariel could have their time.
Once Rareth was able to distract herself from the pain of the wound, she noted how skilled Shiva was with her healing. The ability to use magic for that purpose was far quicker than any normal method of dealing with wounds, but even so, Shiva's treatment was more effective than any field healer she could recall meeting. Granted, she still felt some pain and soreness in her chest, especially when she moved, but Shiva had only really had time for a quick field treatment to get her moving and out of danger. She could receive some more fine and detailed treatment later. For now, Rareth stood up, coughing as she tried to catch her breath. She drew her pistol, which by this point was on its last magazine, as well as her blade. "Alright, let's get moving, but we can't go too far. We need to stay within proximity of our current location, or we might get caught in the fleet's attack. When Bit collapsed the hallway behind us, it made a hole in the floor as well, Let's get back there and climb down to the lower level." She said, taking the lead out of the data center.
Outside the station, close to the other side of the planet above which they were orbiting, the joint Assembly fleet received their message, and acted immediately. There were six ships in all, three Human, two Sovereignty, and one Rothian, the largest of which was the cruiser-class Rothian vessel. One of the Sovereignty ships was a cruiser-sized carrier for fighters, bombers, and so on, while the rest of the ships were frigates, apart from a Human heavy frigate. Overall, it was a force that was far larger than necessary to handle a group of rebels in a civilian mining station, but it served as an impressive and intimidating show of force. Even just one of the vessels would likely be able to handle the situation alone.

The fleet jumped into FTL for the smallest fraction of a second, calculated perfectly to bring them back to subluminal speeds directly outside the station. Even if the team had not already disabled exterior defenses, the station would not have been able to react. Immediately, the fleet launched their first barrage. The Sovereignty vessels' plasma cannons first focused on key external hardpoints, while the Human and Rothian vessels followed through with precisely and meticulously aimed missile attacks. Most of the missiles were designed to pierce through into the interior of the station before detonating, and since the station was not particularly well-armored, it was an easy enough task to accomplish. Explosions shook the entire station, each finely aimed to damage specific systems. Shields, weapons, hanger bays, control centers, all but one of the power generators; each location was specifically targeted to irreversibly cripple the station, and therefore the rebels inside. The only vital system not targeted was life support so as not to harm the hostages, which were able to be avoided in the barrage thanks to the information from the team inside. Following the initial strike, the fleet scrambled fighters and dropships to board the station through exterior breaches and recover the hostages.
The team had managed to make their way down to the floor beneath the data center before the enemy force arrived, though with communications back up, they could not afford to run into any more rebels. Fortunately the allied force struck before they could be found. The explosions ripping through the station shook it enough to knock all of them off of their feet, which was followed quickly by complete darkness, then a feeling of weightlessness. The low-level emergency lighting kicked in a few seconds later, revealing that they were all floating in the middle of the corridor. With the station now operating on very minimal power, even the artificial gravity had been taken offline.

Rareth still felt quite exhausted from her prior magical exertion, but it did not take much telekinetic force at all to stabilize herself int he weightless environment. "Looks like the fleet has arrived. Now we can get back to the Hummingbird." Rareth said, now through the radio, which included Ashley, Telmeck, and Srath back in the hanger. "I hope you're all trained in zero-G."
Finalizing the remainder of the payment with the captain went smoothly. Meesei was not entirely certain of what their living arrangements would be while onboard, but for the price they were paying, she doubted it would be anything extravagant. If they were not in an enclosed room, someone would need to keep an eye on Leaps at all times, or keep him tied up when they could not. She would much rather have the little wamasu with them than not, however, as she predicted the voyage was going to become quite dull.

"Good morning, Ariel." Meesei said as she approached. The docks were already crowded, but they had found a place to talk that at least seemed out of the way of everyone else. "Our ship is set to leave at noon, so not too terribly long, but enough for proper goodbyes."

Meesei stepped forward and lightly placed her hand on Ariel's shoulder. "I will miss you, Ariel. When you sneaked into our camp in Morrowind and paralyzed Janius, I do not think any of us could have imagined where it would lead. We are from vastly different places, with different lives and different goals, but I pretty much consider you family by now. If you were like us, I would accept you into our family in a heartbeat, but I understand that your path is different from ours, and I wish you the best as you walk it."
Like the water, Kaleeth was quick to grab the potion Sabine made, and thankfully, it came with considerably more relief. As the magic within the potion started to work, she felt her headache begin to fade. After a few moments, she sat up, then suddenly hugged Sabine tightly. "Oh by the Hist, thank you!." She said gratefully.
After Kaleeth's hangover was dealt with, everyone joined by the fire for breakfast, much like normal. Their morning proceeded as usual for a while, but unfortunately, the group did not have all of the time as they did before, as their ship was scheduled to leave at midday. Meesei wanted to be sure to give Sabine plenty of time for farewells, so she made sure the camp was packed up shortly after they ate. Once it started to get close enough to noon, they headed off to Thorn.

Meesei had made sure that the pack was prepared in every way possible for their journey. Anything they did not need or could not directly use had been sold, which would hopefully leave them with enough gold to work with once they reached the Imperial City. As a result, they did not need to stop for anything before making their way to the docks, at the place where they had agreed to meet Ariel. They arrived early, so once Ariel was able to make it, they would have a decent amount of time to talk.
Hmm, I did not except to see any new CS's without actually putting up another interest check. At any rate, I am open to accepting new characters, we just have to work them into the team at an appropriate time. I will say that, at the current point in the story, I do not think we can logically work in freelancers. To make it immensely easier on me, I would recommend having your character be a part of one of the governments, like the UN, or the Assembly itself.

Also, as a side note, it is actually a misconception that an asteroid field would be dense enough to be dangerous. They are actually rather sparse.
At the pace Shir was rushing through the halls, it was not long before she came across another. He disposed of a few ambushing clones, but they were hardly out of danger. They were near to the atrium, which was undoubtedly under heavy attack. As she was fighting ranged opponents, she had both of her sabers in hand and active, as there was no disadvantage to carrying two blades when deflecting blaster bolts.

Shir nodded to the other Jedi, still keeping her senses tuned to movement around them. "Agreed, we stand a better chance together, but this attack...we cannot fight them, not directly. These clones are the army of the Republic, which we are at the very center of. We cannot fight them, not directly. I have fought by the side of clones like these, and they are designed to be perfectly loyal. They were ordered to attack us, and all other clones will certainly do the same. We need to find as many of the others as we can, then escape not just the Temple, but the Republic itself." Shir said. As hard as it was to find someone in a place as massive as Coruscant, Shir did not think for a moment that they would be able to be safe anywhere on the planet. They had to escape Corsucant completely, but first, they needed to get out of the Temple itself. The clones would no doubt have all of the obvious exits blocked, so they would likely need to be creative.
"Hmm, strange." Ahnasha commented in regards to Rhazii. She would not have thought herself able to stay asleep through Rhazii's cries. She wondered if it was something that should worry her, but for the moment, she was more interested in the fact that Fendros had a dream. She thought that the medicine was meant to supress all dreaming, but if he had a dream, that meant it either did not work, or was not perfect. Still, she supposed that one night really was not enough to tell for sure. "I doubt we will really know until we give it a few nights to work. Like you said, we could have been lucky. Still, even if it just reduces the nightmares, we will be able to get some relief."

Meesei moved a bit closer to Sabine and watched her as she worked on the cure. Meesei only had a small amount of knowledge on alchemy, which was mostly what she had gathered from watching Sabine in the past. For the most part, it was not a subject that had captured near as much of her interest as magic itself, but she wondered exactly what it would take to learn. Given how much practice it took to become a master alchemist, she doubted it was as simple as following a recipe like cooking. In any case, she stopped focusing on such speculation once Sabine responded to her. Meesei lightly placed her hand on Sabine's shoulder and gave a slight grin. "Well, there is only one way to improve, is there not?"

Kaleeth wanted to ask more questions, but she also wanted to avoid making any more noise than was necessary. She was not entirely sure if she should be angry at someone for not telling her this would happen, the uncertainty coming mostly from the fact that she could hardly concentrate on her thoughts. She at least partially remembered the previous night, and she remembered enjoying it, but with the pain she was feeling, there was no way it could be worth it. Still with her hands rubbing her temple, she finally groaned an answered. "Don't worry." She said, covering her head in her bedroll and pressing her hands over her ears to suppress the light and sound. "I'm not going anywhere."
Once she accessed the terminal, there was little she actually had to do herself, as she had been given a program to search automatically for the proper data. The owners of the station were obviously familiar with its own system architecture, so it quickly searched through the database and pulled up information it thought might be relevant. All Rareth had to do was to was look over the information the program found to see if it contained hostage locations. It was less than a minute before she finally found what they had been looking for. As she suspected, the hostages were being held in makeshift prisons scattered across the station. There was no way for a single team to recover them all at once, but that was what the fleet was for.

"Alright, I have the locations, I'm marking them on the map now, along with the Hummingbird's location, and ours. I'm going to have to deactivate the radio jammer to send this to the fleet, so be ready." Rareth explained. With the press of a button on her own computer, she sent out the deactivation signal for the radio jammer, which opened up communications once more. Just as she did this, one of the others was getting ready to bind one of the prisoners, a Masulu man. He wore civilian clothing and did not seem to be armed, but as soon as he saw what Rareth was doing, he seemed to snap.

"You'll never stop us!" He shouted. All of the sudden, he teleported straight out from in front of Shuo and onto Rareth, tackling her to the ground. With telekinetically enhanced force, he thrust his head spike through her armor and into her chest, but just as he used magic to attack, so too did she to defend. She fought back with her own telekinesis to slow the spike to the point that it did not pierce any vital organs, then reached out and grabbed it with her own hands. She could outmatch him for strength, so he could force the spike no further into her, but the others could not safely shoot without a high chance of hitting her. As the others were rushing to help, she managed to teleport out from under him, taking herself just a few feet away. The others were clear to fire, but as they fired their first volley, he teleported out of the room, but in what direction they could not know.

Rareth was on the floor, her armor green from the bleeding wound in her chest. It was painful, but what was more disabling was the degree of magical exhaustion she was facing. She had poured a lot of effort into resisting the Masulu's strike, which, combined with the quick teleport, left her alarmingly fatigued. "Ah, this...someone, hurry and message the fleet. It should be ready to send on the terminal." She ordered, trying to keep her focus on the mission.
Ahnasha concentrated for a moment, trying to recall anything from the night, but nothing surfaced from within her mind. "I...no, I didn't. I can't recall anything, actually Does that mean it worked? How was your night, anything worrying?"

Once Kaleeth shouted from across camp, Rhazii awoke and began to cry shortly afterwards. Ahnasha quickly picked him up and started rocking him in her arms. For Kaleeth's sake, she needed to stop his screaming soon. Fortunately, it rarely took more than her loving embrace to accomplish that task. "I am surprised Rhazii didn't wake up in the night." Ahnasha commented casually.

"I do not think Ariel will be out of your life forever. If nothing else, you can always send her letters." Meesei said to Sabine in an attempt to comfort her, though Kaleeth's shouting interrupted the two. Sabine was quick to start work on something to help her, so Sabine went ahead and prepared breakfast for herself, as it appeared that Sabine had been eating. Still, she remained close by Sabine, just in case she felt the need to speak as she worked.

Kaleeth was confused about a great many things at the moment, but she did not question Janius when he said to drink the water. Once he said it could help, she snatched it out of his hand as if she had been without water for days. When its results failed to be instant, she found herself disappointed, and still in quite a bit of pain. "I am confused. Why is this happening, why do I need water, and what is drunk?" She asked, this time much more quietly.
Ahnasha awoke slowly, and with a sizable yawn. She was sluggish to sit up, gain her bearings, and remember where she was, but after a few minutes, she was reasonably alert. Fendros was already awake, though Rhazii was actually still sleeping. Once she recalled the medicine, she started to get a bit excited, as she could not remember waking suddenly at any point in the night. Actually, she remembered nothing at all from the night until she woke up. It was as if she had transferred herself from night to day in an instant. She wondered if Fendros' experience had been the same, or if her night had been simple luck.

"Good Morning." Ahnasha said to Fendros, yawning once more as she finished speaking.

Meesei awoke shortly after Sabine, and she quickly noticed her unsettled demeanor. There was little question as to what was troubling her, so Meesei knew that there was nothing she could really say that would suddenly make her feel better. Time would be the only thing which could console her, so for the moment, all Meesei could do was to give her some comfort by showing she was there for her. She slowly approached and sat down beside Sabine wordlessly, placing her hand gently on her back and looking down at her sympathetically.

Kaleeth's movement into consciousness was significantly less peaceful than Ahnasha's. The very moment she opened her eyes to the sunrise over the horizon, she cringed and covered her eyes in pain. "Ahh! Why is everything so bright? My head..." She began in a rather loud voice, which only served to exacerbate her already-splitting headache even further. She started to curl up from the headache, the likes of which she had never experienced before. She had only rarely had even minor headaches, so this was certainly an unwelcome surprise.
