"Oh, you don't need to worry right now. I didn't mean to say that I am getting worse or anything, just that I am not up to my normal strength. Rest assured, I am steadily improving. Though, I suppose it will not hurt to take the pills." Tarentek answered reassuringly before taking the pills, followed by a drink of water.

"Thank you. If you intend to play another game, I would be quite content to watch, but we could go elsewhere as well. If you think it would be appropriate for me to participate in something, I think I would...enjoy it. It would just have to be something that is not physically demanding." Tarentek added.
"I see, so it is essentially sparring with another goal. I think I understand how that would work. Obviously, you do not want to cause serious harm to your opponent, but you do not go into it intending to hold back any more than necessary, correct? That does sound like a skill-building exercise, something I wish I could ask to join." Tarentek began. He shifted slightly to a different sitting position, feeling the ever-present aching of his muscles as he moved.

"Unfortunately, I do not think I would last long at the moment. I will not be able to do any serious training for at least a few days. Perhaps shooting or archery practice, but nothing greatly physical for the moment. My robe covers my wounds, but they are...significant." He explained.
Tarentek was not expecting the game to be a hand-to-hand skirmish for control of the items, though he supposed he could not think of any other way they would get control of the items. He wondered what kind of other rules existed for what one could and could not do other than what he already knew about. Obviously, they did not want to seriously hurt each other, but he was curious what kind of force was acceptable for retrieving the items.

"Hmm, so the game is quite literally a fight for the items?" Tarentek commented from the sidelines. "My people do not quite have any games like that. We simply spar if we wish to fight, though I can see how this might be more entertaining. I am curious, what are the finer rules of this game. I gather that you don't want to hurt each other, but what can someone do to claim an item? That round was quick, but I did notice that Onyx used her claws at one point." He questioned. Competitive games in general were something that interested him, even one as seemingly simple as this. If he were in a better condition, he might have asked to join, but he doubted he would be very successful at present.
"Thank you, your answers have been very helpful." Meesei commented after a few moments of writing. Although she had some doubts in her mind, her own memories from that day in the dining chamber were not complete enough to make a judgment. She had been focused on telling her story, so she might not have seen everything that occurred. However, her own pack could be helpful in that regard, as they might have seen events that she did not.

Once she was finished with her own notes, Meesei tore out a page from the journal and handed it, along with her writing implements, to Vera. "All I need now is for you to write down the names of all those you mentioned who you think I should speak to about confirming your alibi, and those of your fellow lieutenants. After that, we can return to my pack's room for a moment, then you can go back to the dining hall, or wherever you need to be." Meesei explained. After Vera was finished with her list, the pair stepped outside and returned to Meesei's room with Sabine.

During the interview, each of the lieutenants had stopped by at some point to retrieve their meals, and Ahnasha had returned as well to take over caring for Rhazii. As soon as Meesei returned to their room, Meesei took a moment to step out into the hall with Kaleeth to ask for her recollection of the previous day's events, as well as her report on her day with Vera. Once she had all of her pack's information gathered together, she hoped she would have a more complete picture of what transpired.

After a few minutes, Meesei returned back inside with Kaleeth and gave a respectful nod to Vera. "Thank you, Vera, for your patience and cooperation. I only have one more favor to ask of you. I would like to spare Ahnasha from having to run around any longer, so after you get back to the dining hall, would you mind finding Harriet and telling her that I would like to speak to her now? Just...try to avoid doing anything that might suggest I have any specific suspicions towards her."
Meesei noticed a few potential inconsistencies in how Vera described the meeting. They did not tell her much alone and could very well have no meaning at all, but it was something she could ask about. "I see, but there is something I need to clarify. I just want to make sure I understand exactly how it happened. After Oswall left, Jerrick and Darahil stepped out to talk. You then spoke with Harriet for some time until you stepped out yourself. As I recall, there is only one way that you would normally enter the meeting chamber, so you must have ran into Jerrick and Darahil. What happened then? Did you hear anything they were talking about, and where did you go from there? Also, are you sure there is no one you can think of who can confirm that you, or the other lieutenants, were at the places you said you were?"

Meesei was starting to form questions in her mind about the accuracy of the information she had received. Some details were conflicting with her own memories of what she witnessed in the dining chamber, and while she had nothing solid yet, she had her suspicions. Vera had not yet named anyone specific Meesei could ask to confirm her alibi, though she may have simply been distracted by trying to recall the events of the day.
Sirka looked down at her case almost in disbelief as she cracked it open slightly to peer inside. She had known going into this what kind of credits these employers would be offering, but to actually have such a large sum in her hands brought it all into reality. The amount they were paying seemed too good to be true, but she could see for herself how true it really was. And this was only the advanced payment.

"Two million credits." Sirka began, giving a slight huff as she closed up her case. "I guess this really is happening. It's an awful bold move giving a buch of mercenaries a two million down payment on their services. Luckily for them, I realize that anyone who can give out ten million credits in advance payments is not someone you want to anger. "

As Sirka was stepping up onto the ramp, Tony started explaining his rules for his ship. While Sirka would do pretty much anything for the credits she was being paid, it was nice to hear that she wouldn't have to put up with anything ridiculous on the way. "Yeah, yeah, I'll follow your rules...or maybe just pay you a few hundred thousand credits to do whatever I want, depends on my mood." She said with a slight chuckle. "Anyway, just put me somewhere with enough space for me to lay down and I won't have a reason to complain. I'm from Nar Shaddaa, so it's not like I'm high-maintenance."
At the moment, Harriet was indeed one of Meesei's primary suspects, but she was careful not to show the extent of her suspicion, as she felt it was best to keep as much of the current status of the investigation a secret as possible. The only exception would be if she could safely exonerate any of the lieutenants, as they could be more helpful to her if they knew they were no longer suspects. Harriet was possibly the traitor, but Vera still could not be absolved of suspicion. She did take note that Vera seemed nervous, but given her relationship with Jerrick, those outward signals could also be attributed to grief. All of the lieutenants agreed that Oswall and Darahil had left without touching the waterskin, but so far, Meesei only had Vera's word that Harriet had been left alone with the waterskin. There was the possibility that Vera was lying, so without more information, Meesei could not yet make a judgment.

"If the waterskin was poisoned at the meeting, then it is a possibility, but there are other incidents I need to consider." Meesei answered. "Moving on to after the meeting, I have gathered that all of the lieutenants separated to their own tasks, apart from dinner, at which Jerrick was not present. After Jerrick informed me of what was to come, we made our plans for the ambush that night. I know what he was doing after the meeting, but not exactly where he went. If you can remember anything at all about his movements, after the meeting, it could be useful. Beyond that, I also need to confirm the alibis of each lieutenant after the meeting. Not only do I need to know if there is anyone or anything that can prove where you were, but I would also like to know if there is anything that could prove to me where the others were."
Your answer to whether or not it is an Imperial world wasn't too clear, so I just had her ask.
Sirka'ith gave a glance to the Human woman as she approached, though she did not really care how many teammates she ended up with as long as they were competent enough to be at least a distraction. What Sirka was more interested in was the mission itself. She had never heard of this planet, Belona, before, though it wasn't as if she had a particular reason to be familiar with remote prison colonies. Sirka had been on jobs in the past that involved protecting clients, and a few of those were rescues, but never from high security, heavily guarded facilities. Regardless, it didn't sound too easy, so she would probably be earning her paycheck.

Keeping her eyes on the hologram, Sirka gave a slight grunt as she tried to see if it had any actual important information. "Hmm, a prison colony. So is this a Remnant settlement, or something else? I haven't done a prison break before, but you know what I'm good at. If you want someone to make a lot of noise, I can do it. You want me to carve a path for some squishy prisoner to escape? I'll do that too. Basically, I'll do anything that ends in a firefight. As long as you keep me doing what I'm good at, I'll do this prison break." She answered.
"I understand." Meesei responded as she marked down a few notes. She agreed with Vera's assessment that Jerrick must have drank some of his water around the time of the lesson. Given that transformations inherently involved physical exercise, it was natural that one would want to drink some water afterwards. She would still ask the same question of the others, but she had more reason to believe that was the case than just Vera's word.

"Let us talk about the meeting. Everyone I have questioned said it proceeded normally, apart from my arrival. I was told that he kept his waterskin sitting on the table for the meeting's duration, then he forgot it when he went to speak with Darahil on the mezzanine. If you saw anyone tampering with it, I would of course want to know, but I doubt the traitor would have attempted the poisoning with others around. After I left, can you tell me again the order in which everyone left the meeting room?" Meesei questioned.
