"You know, I'm almost positive that I've already introduced myself at least once. Eh, whatever, I tend to forget these things. Name's Sirka'ith. If you haven't figured out what I'm good at already, well, then I'd get your eyes and ears checked." She said with a chuckle before glancing to the human, Hildan. "You use slugthrowers? Well, it'll be useful down in the caves, at least. They don't need electronics to work. I'll keep dismissing them everywhere else, though. I suppose they can be useful, it's just...they don't hit as hard, their shots fall off target instead of flying straight, their ammo is way more expensive than blaster packs...but like I said, I guess they have their place." She said in at least a mostly teasing fashion.

Sirka paused a moment and started looking around the hanger bay. There were times in which she could be patient, but right now, she wanted to be set and ready for the job. Of course, the dreadnaught wasn't going to arrive any quicker if she rushed, but she at least wanted to be on the right ship when it was time to get moving. "Introductions are all well and good, but can we walk and talk? Which one of these is your ship, or is it in a different bay?" Sirka asked.
"Go to Amman? Well, I don't know about that." Tarentek responded, shifting slightly in his chair. It was an idea that brought up a lot of conflicting emotions in his mind, though the most prominent was fear. Having seen what their enemy could do, he was not keen on returning to a place occupied by them, at least not without an army. 'I mean, my armor should still be there. It was in our family home at the time of the attack, and not the barracks, but we really don't know what kind of a state the city is in by this point. They did annex the city, so they do likely intend to open it up to trade at some point, but installing a new government takes time. They might be rejecting travelers. As for getting the materials in Tel Nof, that is possible, but it will be expensive. The leather won't be that bad, but good enough quality metal is an expensive commodity. It has to be forged into the right shapes. If I scavenged the metal, then reshaped it myself, it would be doable, but I would need access to an actual forge."
How is progress on your collab, Lucius and CQB?
Just waiting on things to happen, currently.
Harriet was perceptive, Meesei had to credit her with that. She knew her room had been searched, which presented a problem for Meesei's original plan. If the vial was hers, then she likely knew that there was the possibility it could have been found. This meant that it was unlikely she would be able to catch her off-guard to produce a suspicious reaction. Harriet might have already seen through her original plan, but Meesei was not without any more tricks. She still had options, and now that she knew the room held its scents for a while, she had another avenue of investigation to pursue.

"I did not search it, no." Meesei began, walking over towards the broken tile. There was no use going through the whole ruse of searching the rest of her room first; instead, she decided to go with her next best option. Kneeling down next to the tile, she lifted it up to reveal the hiding spot underneath. "But another did."

All that was inside the hole was a rag, atop which the vial had presumably rested before it was taken. Meesei had another trick, this time one much more subtle which a simple scent could not betray. As Meesei was examining the hiding spot, she rested her hand in such a way that, from Harriet's angle, it would block her view of where the vial had been resting. Meesei's posture looked perfectly normal and unremarkable, as if she was simply supporting her weight on her arm as she knelt down, and the fine details of what Harriet should be able to see from her angle could go unnoticed, especially if she already had response in mind before Meesei had even uncovered it. Beyond Harriet's reaction, there was also another thing Meesei was watching for, or rather, smelling for. A small, enclosed space like this hiding spot would hold scents even more easily than the rest of the room, such as the scents of those which had handled the vial. If the vial had been planted, Meesei would expect to find Gorlak's scent, along with an unfamiliar one, but if Harriet was indeed the traitor, then she would expect to find both Gorlak and Harriet's scent.

"What is your explanation for this, Harriet?" Meesei asked. Her tone was accusatory, as being aggressive in her questioning might lead Harriet to defend herself in a way that would imply she had saw the vial.
"Well, we do come from different backgrounds, different roles. I am a soldier, a specialized one, but still a soldier. A lot of my skills revolve around those duties." Tarentek commented as he observed Onyx's process for making the garment.

Seeing Onyx work reminded Tarentek of the equipment he was missing, though in his case, it was armor instead of clothing. "Now that I think about it, I need to gather up materials whenever I can. I wouldn't choose to wear a robe going into a fight. I had a set of armor, made from a few layers of leather with metal plates attached on top, something light enough to move in, but tough enough to provide some protection. It wouldn't protect against bullets, but it could stop a blade, and sometimes arrows. Unfortunately, the attack on Amman was so sudden, I didn't have time to get into my armor. It will take forever for me to get enough materials to make another set like it."
Once Harriet had finished with any business she desired to get through for the day, Meesei, Lorag, and the new guards headed with her to her room. It seemed natural enough to allow Harriet to sleep in her own bed, especially with the number of guards she now had, so Meesei doubted that it raised any particular suspicions with her.

Since she knew what to look for, Meesei could locate the hidden compartment, but she refrained from doing so just yet. Instead, she and the others started to go through the process of preparing for the night. They set up places for everyone to sleep, then spent over half an hour discussing their plan for the night. Meesei set up a schedule for who would be keeping watch, and when. She discussed with the others what to do if someone was found approaching the room depending upon how they were approaching. If they were simply walking up directly, the first reaction would simply be to tell them politely to move on their way and not to disturb Harriet. However, Meesei warned them not to let anyone get too close to them, as they might quickly draw a weapon. If someone approached with weapons drawn, or any other way that strongly suggested hostility, the plan would be to shout out and wake everyone as fast as possible. From there, Meesei could take over leading Harriet's defense, if she was not awake already.

It was only after finishing their planning that Meesei started to focus on the true reason she was present. She looked around the room, allowing a slight amount of curiosity to show on her face. "Actually, before we head to sleep, I believe I would like to look around for a few minutes." Meesei stated.
If you are 6'4", then you are part of 0.135% of the global population.
It seemed that Ssarak's plan had not worked exactly as intended. Alaira had seemingly ignored his initial warning about the incoming attack, as she had not joined them in fighting the feral vampires. As such, she was now searching for the same foe Ssarak was trying to find. Fortunately, Darius seemed to have fared well against the ferals, which was not too surprising, considering that they were essentially behaving as mindless beasts. However, while the one Ssarak was searching for did not reveal himself so easily, he did have a clear line of sight from above on the feral that had set its sights on Alaira. He could have swept down down to eliminate it, but Alaira could deal with it just as well; she only needed a warning.

"Alaira, there is one behind you!" Ssarak shouted down to her before immediately shifting his focus back to his search. Visually, he could not locate his target, so he reached out with his mind instead. With a wide-area telepathy spell, he could feel the wards of his foe, and he could feel that they were wavering. Evidently, his use of his magic was taking a toll. Seeing an opportunity, Ssarak pressured the wards with stronger, more focused telepathy to finally break through. From there, it was a much simpler matter to get a sense of his direction by reading his thoughts. Ssarak could not exactly pinpoint him with his magic alone, but he did not need to. Once he had a direction, Ssarak banked towards it, then scanned the ground until he finally spotted his quary, or rather, the disturbances he was making in the grass. Now, since the invisibility was not completely perfect, Ssarak could see the distortions, giving him a definite spot to target.

Ssarak swept down low, gaining as much speed as he could without risking hurting himself upon landing. His target was starting to head into the forest, but Ssarak was able to catch up before the trees grew too dense to force a landing. Ssarak hit his target like a boulder, smashing him into the ground hard enough to give him a concussion at the very minimum, without needing to use his weapon. His invisibility wore off immediately, which allowed him to finally be seen clearly. He seemed to be entirely incapacitated, but even so, Ssarak was taking no chances. He kicked him over onto his back, then quickly patted him down for anything he might be carrying, like weapons, bags, pouches, and so on. Anything he found, he moved a safe distance to the side, then positioned himself between the man and his belongings. Ssarak hovered his weapon inches above the man's head with the spike on the end pointing towards his skull. He looked the man over carefully to see if he was even still alive, ready to jam the weapon into his skull at a moment's notice.
Wait, I just realized an error in my calculations. One moment while I recalculate.

Edit: Nevermind, the number was accurate. I got confused because I saw a different number (.3%) for 3 standard deviations, but that is for 3 above and below.

Your character is equivalent to someone being 6'4". Take that for what you will. I also just realized that I miscalculated when I chose my own character's height. She lies 2 standard deviations from average, though that is equivalent to someone being 6'1". I personally know people around those heights. Though, attending a military college, my sample distribution may be skewed.
