This is probably about the point where we can skip to the next bit. Just got to figure out what that should be. It would be strange to skip all the way to the point where the clan has already moved, but I didn't have anything specific in mind to happen between now and then. Did you have anything in mind?
Thanks. Bheja just loves causing chaos.
When Peiter returned to the rest of the group with Tzirret, he was already one step ahead of his friend in terms of providing an excuse. He cleared his throat before speaking up. "Sorry about that. Tzirret here was enthusiastic about it, but I'm just too sore for much of anything physical right now. Got a lot of exercise yesterday."

Ma'tanza simply gave a slight chuckle. She had been able to see through Tzirret's thin facade for a while now, so she had a reasonable guess on what at least might have actually happened. Regardless, she was not bothered, and just wanted to get to know all of these new people. It was a definite break from the monotony the past few months had become while waiting at this outpost. "Yes...well Sabine and Ma'tanza were just talking about what to do next. This one has some time before she has to go for her magic training. This one suggested maybe playing board games. They don't require magic or anything, you just have to know the rules. Or, if you wouldn't mind just watching, we could have a magic contest. This one knows Bheja and S'nishi cannot cast magic, but they can still be fun to watch. Or bet on."

As Ma'tanza spoke, Bheja walked over, slightly away from the group, carrying his spear at his side. He looked up carefully at the treetops towards the sun to get a sense of exactly what angle it was at. After a few moments, he turned back around towards the group. "Well, unfortunately, I don't have time for much of anything. I have to get over to training for the day. I'll catch back up with you later, love." He commented. With a wide smile across his face, he walked straight towards Ma'tanza...then continued past her and stopped in front of S'nishi. Reaching up on the tips of his toes, he put an arm around her neck and kissed the Senche-raht's lips.

"You all enjoy yourselves. Try not to get hypnotized by Ma'tanza's breasts." Bheja teased as he walked away with his spear resting on his shoulder, laughing to himself.
Ma'tanza looked around along with Sabine, with a slightly regretful expression. "Well, there actually isn't too much, Ma'tanza fears. Back at our old home, we had more to do, but we lost a lot of things when we came here. We used to have things to play all kinds of games, but we had to leave a lot of it behind, and haven't had the resources to replace a lot of it. All our leather has to be used for armor, tents, and all that, so we can't play any sport that requires a ball. We do have the river, of course, and we have had some people carving out animal bones into dice and pieces for board games. We do at least have plenty of wood around here, so we do have boards for them. There are also archery contests, and of course things you don't need equipment for, like magic contests and wrestling."

Peiter was glad to see that Tzirret saw the reason in what he was saying, though to his last comment, he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "Um, well...I don't know if I can help with that. I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing it up with her. It might be rude to expect her to change something just because you have a problem with it. I mean, it looks like she just woke up, so she was probably about to get dressed anyway before we came along. Otherwise, the only advice I can give is to try just to see her like any other girl. You're used to seeing them undressed, it just comes with being a lycan. The only thing different about Ma'tanza is her...proportions. Try to remember that you're just friends right now. For me, I'm very attracted to Sabine, and I often find myself looking at her like you with Ma'tanza. But, that's just because we both have romantic intentions with each other. Yes, I find other girls attractive, but I always keep in mind that they are strangers, or just friends. Those intentions don't exist with them. Does that help?"
Yeah, I was about to head to bed. Goodnight.
After this scene is over, we probably need to figure out where to skip to. I'm not entirely sure where to exactly. The clan will have to pack up their entire camp and start to move east towards Senchal. It seems like that would be an important event, but I didn't actually have specific scenes in mind.
Ma'tanza shook her head. "No, this one is not really annoyed. It's really just about how they act. Tzirret is trying to be courteous, and this one appreciates it."

Once again, Ma'tanza's gaze went over to Peiter and Tzirret nearby for a moment before she looked back. "Besides, that conversation seems like it would be far worse for Tzirret." She chuckled. "This one has some time before she needs to go for magic training, maybe we could all do something together? It has been a long time since she has been able to meet new people."

Peiter raised his brow at Tzirret with a fair amount of concern after his explanation of his intentions. "Um...well, Tzirret, uh...La'khay might not be the best person to go to for that kind of advice. Her life has given her a...particular set of views that a lot of people might not appreciate. If you want to do that with someone, it should probably be someone you care about. You're someone who wants, well, an actual mate. You've said so before. You want that kind of attachment, so if you try to act like La'khay, you might just end up hurting yourself. Not...physically, but emotionally." He advised.
"Thank you. It will be a great help." Ma'tanza said, looking over at Peiter and Tzirret once Sabine mentioned them. She shrugged her shoulders, then poured out another small amount of ointment onto her hand. "No, you have nothing in your hair. He was probably just laughing at Tzirret. He has been trying to keep himself from staring at this one's chest since she met him yesterday at the river. This one has saw him trying to make himself look away. It is nice that he is going through the effort. It's something that happens a lot with Ma'tanza when she meets new people, mostly male. Bheja was like that when we first met. Only difference is that he didn't even try to hide it." She explained.

Bheja was nearby next to S'nishi, reaching up and scratching the behind her ear when Ma'tanza mentioned him. He looked over to them and gave a quick shrug. "Eh, what can you expect? I'm not that polite."

Peiter leaned in towards Tzirret with a smile and whispered quietly enough that he could feel safe no one was listening in. "You're wondering if they are together, aren't you? Well, I can't say for sure, I suppose. It is possible, as that is something a lover might say, but they could also just be close friends that are comfortable with each other. My advice? Just try to be friends with her. Don't try to force anything else, just get to know her. It will be easy to tell what their relationship is if you spend more time with them. Just...be aware that we might not be staying here long, alright? We still don't know for sure what the Champion is going to do. Don't...let that discourage you from making friends, of course."
Ma'tanza was glad to accept the ointment. She looked at the small waterskin curiously for a few moments before untying the top of it and taking a few sniffs of the contents. It did not smell like much of anything, though she did not know what she had been expecting. It was not as if it was meant to be drank. "Ah, thank you. Ma'tanza hopes this works. This one is a mage, and not an alchemist, but she isn't entirely unfamiliar with it. Could this one have the recipe? Do you think it would be an easy one to follow?" She asked. As she spoke, she poured a small amount of the ointment into her hand and began to apply it on one side.

Pieter did willingly start to follow Tzirret, but he saw straight through his hastily spoken lie. It was easy enough to see why he was uncomfortable. They were only a few steps away when Tzirret whispered to him, and Pieter stopped right where he was. To be courteous, he whispered as well, though the others did not seem to be listening. "Yes, Tzirret? I think I might be able to answer your question."
Ma'tanza listened with interest to Sabine. She was about to speak up when Tzirret suddenly mentioned the creatures she was talking about. Although, he started to say something about dreugh, which just caused her to laugh and shake her head. "No, no, there are no dreugh in there. The water is much too shallow for them. No, these little...monsters are bottom feeders. They're like...underwater scorpions, just without a stinger. They're terrifying to look at. Everyone is always telling Ma'tanza that they won't hurt her, but she doesn't believe it."

Bheja let out a sigh. "Ma'tanza, crayfish aren't dangerous. Even if you step on one, it will probably just scurry away."

"Hmph, says you." Ma'tanza retorted. Although, likely to Tzirret's dismay, she had not gone away from the prior topic. "Anyway, this one knows exactly what you're talking about. Her breasts are far too large. Bheja thinks it's a good thing, but this one doesn't see how. They're too heavy, and hurt if they bounce around. Ma'tanza usually had a length of cloth that she wraps around them for support. It definitely helps, though it's uncomfortable in its own way. This one wishes hers were like yours. You say you have an ointment, though? Are you an alchemist? Ma'tanza would love something like that. Maybe she wouldn't have to wear such a tight wrap."

Peiter, in all honesty, found it more entertaining to watch Tzirret's reactions rather than anything else. His experiences the previous day made him surprisingly apathetic.
