I took out and reworded it in the CS thread.

You may want to edit it in the beginning of the OOC as well, so no new players get confused about it as I did.

You have to ask Lucius, but I'm sure there's a way. Currently rewording that magic bit right now, but I took it out to prevent confusion for the moment.

Where did you take it out? I still see it under the Esyire description.

No, the way I read it was that the flood of thoughts/emotions are giving him the headache, not the magic itself. I looked at it as more of an after result/side effect then the magic hurting him. :p-Add on- And yes, most unpracticed Novices can hurt themselves with their own magic if they aren't careful, Esyires aren't. This doesn't stop others from hurting them with the same blood however. XD

Hmm, I guess other types of mages could do cool things like cloak their flesh in fire or something. Doesn't help me, but if any other Esyire characters pop up, it's an idea for them.

Maybe Ssarak is immune to his own drugs or something.
Is it even actually possible to harm one's self with Psychomancy?

I might need to reword that a bit better because it sounds like I mean magic from any mage sporting that blood.... What I mean most students can't get hurt from their own magical displays, aka: Pryomancer Novices can't burns themselves practicing, Noxomancers can't decay themselves, etc.

Ah, so the other races can hurt themselves with it. In that case, would Ssarak be immune from harming himself reading minds? If so, I should make an edit to my last one getting rid of the headache.

Yeah, just read the Esyire description and the wording says they are unaffected by their own magic school, which would indicate that.
A random thought popped into my head. The race description says Esyire are immune to their own mageblood, so how would that apply to a half-Esyire? 50% resistant?
Ssarak nodded to Aruna. He did acknowledge that the Forest Elf at least seemed to be trying to help, so her intentions were at least positive. However, Ssarak was well aware that intentions did not excuse one's actions. Were intentions all that mattered, then he would be a hero to his people, instead of an exile and a murderer. He was a living example of how the greatest evils could be committed with the best of intentions.

As Aruna left to refill her bowl, Ssarak finished off one of his steaks and moved on to the seafood. He looked around at the crowd as he ate, trying to distract himself from the rather depressing line of thought his mind seemed to be going down. There were so many different people of all shapes and sizes; there were races that he had never seen before, and others he had never even heard of. Humans and Elves, Esyire and Half-Snakes, walking plants and Winged Humans, all of these beings and more were crowding the dining hall; he simply could not tell which were of the races of Tien, and which were demons. In this environment, that line was blurred beyond recognition.

Unfortunately, while Ssarak was observing the crowd around him, he became distracted and one of the inherent abilities of his mageblood slipped into action. Suddenly, his mind started reaching out to those around him, reading into their thoughts. For the most part, he felt the emotions and inclinations of those around him without mental barriers, all of them. All of the joy, sadness, curiosity, pride, anger, pleasure, pain, hope, and regret. All of it swarmed his mind at once, overwhelming all of his senses. There were some words mixed in with the emotions as well, but with the sheer number of people around him, they all jumbled together into incoherent noise, like everyone in the room was shouting in his ear all at once. All of this combined gave him a massive, splitting headache, causing him to lean forward onto his hands as he closed his eyes, gritted his teeth, and rubbed his temples, quite obviously in pain. For the moment, he was unresponsive as he tried his best to attempt to reign in his blood and stop the mass of voices from assaulting his mind.

Well, I would have to see a sample of what you mean really to completely understand what you mean. Mind sending me a PM example to help my understanding, please?

Well, now that I think on it, I guess it would only really be useful for the person who made the decision, and the major stuff can be handled by the system you're putting in place. I suppose it isn't necessary.

Mesa Gaan is one of 3 Naga cities in Yarsomere. :p

Every time I see Mesa Gaan, I end up reading it as Maar Gan.
I was more referring to the smaller things we do in the RP. For instance, I've made a few posts that add a few details on the culture of clan Dyre, and mentioned a few details of life in the scorched lands. I copied them over into a document for my own reference, but for other things, other people might need to go back and reference them. Essentially, I think it would be good to have a place to reference the smaller details that don't necessarily fit into any of the above categories, but could be important at some point.

Btw, the CS is coming along nicely into a nice well of info to have PC use to reference for RP data or double check their facts.

Alright, will we be able to provide links/summaries of information that could be useful that we establish in the future? Hopefully, without putting all of the burden on you to keep it updated.
