Alright, I shall start it in my next one.
The only other scene I could think of before the wedding itself would be convincing Fendros' mother to attend, if you think that would be difficult enough to warrant a scene. Otherwise we could go to camp for the scene with Meesei.
Ssarak Dyreackthanose

Ssarak nodded to Keri. “Just try to think of all of this as strictly business. Despite the formal clothes, the food, the festivities, nothing about this place is meant for entertainment. Honestly, I would wager that everyone here views it the exact same way. From my understanding, every event is all politics to Djarkel nobility. I will stay close to you and keep alert for psychomancers while we speak to the nobles.”

As soon as Keri had mentioned Lyn, Ssarak had shifted his focus back to her. As such, he saw her start to make her way towards the balcony. Given that they had only arrived a short time ago, Ssarak did not even need to try to get into her mind to know that something must have caught her interest. It was unlikely that she would be so uncomfortable as to want to leave so quickly. Naturally, he felt the need to keep watch on her, but not physically. Instead, he focused his magic on her, and then tried to concentrate on any minds immediately around her.

”I shall also keep my mind on Lyn.” Ssarak reassured Keri before sending a telepathic message to Lyn. ”Is everything alright, Lyn?”
Also, I do have an idea for a scene with Meesei, and perhaps Sabine, when they return to camp. It can run concurrently with another.
When do you think we should move on to the next bit, whatever that might be?
Ahnasha gave a grin towards Monderyn. Despite the obvious reminder of Rhazii's fear of flames, Ahnasha could keep her mind from dwelling on it. Both Llarasa and Monderyn had seen Rhazii and his burns before, but she doubted they were thinking of them at the moment. "Don't worry, I can't say that I am too keen on fire myself. At the very least, you can rest assured that you aren't as flammable as someone like me." She said, rubbing the fur on her lower arm.

Ahnasha made an honest effort to think back onto her past to answer Llarasa's question, but she could think of no incident to match what Llarasa was describing. After a few moments, she shook her head and shrugged. "I've recovered from some pretty...terrible injuries before, but not without explanation. I've always had healers. I don't think I've ever fought off anyone with anything other than my own skills. If I have some latent magical abilities like that, I would have no idea how to access them. I'm really more knowledgeable about the effects of Jone and Jode than the stars."
"By the way Meesei explains it, many cultures and regions around Tamriel have traditional forms of magic." Ahnasha added after Fendros. "For a lot of those traditions, their teachings were absorbed into the Mages' Guild and other organizations, which now make up basically all of what is taught to mages. But, there are some, more insular cultures that ended up keeping their traditions to themselves, and still practice forms of magic ancient, and mostly unknown. Apparently, her own village preserved some of those secrets of the past, and she has always been dedicated to uncovering new ones. She has talked about wanting to learn about other groups that have done the same thing, like some of the nature oriented magic of the Bosmer, the Nords and the Thu'um, the Psijics, and the Old Magics of High Rock's witches' covens."

Shifting back to the topic of her birthsign, Ahnasha nodded to Llarasa. "Yeah, that's about my age. I don't know much about the stars and their signs; I thought Sun's Dusk was the month of the Atronach? I...don't remember what month is tied to the Serpent. I just know that I don't know of any way that it has affected me. What about you two? Have your birthsigns affected you?"
Despite Llarasa's confidence in speaking, Ahnasha was still skeptical of everyone having birthsigns. She shook her head lightly. "I'm still not so sure. I was actually also born in Sun's Dusk, but I know for sure I'm not an atronach. I know that's what my sign would have been in that month, but I don't think every single person born in that month has those same magical attributes. I obviously don't, given that I've definitely explored my magical abilities."

Unbeknownst to Ahnasha, she was not quite correct in her assumption of what her birthsign would have been. While it was true that Sun's Dusk was associated with the Atronach sign, there was another sign that could manifest in that month. With the proper reference material, Llarasa would be able to determine that the wandering Serpent sign had appeared in the skies that month, which was the sign under which Ahnasha had been born.

"Personally, I think will and dedication does a lot more for a person than their sign. I know Meesei has never even bothered to ask us about them for anyone training with her. Granted, she practices magic much differently than the old traditions that started with the Mages' Guild. She performs magic that was lost to them...or that they never knew." Ahnasha added.
Ahnasha nodded in agreement. "Conjured weapons are essential when you can't rely on keeping your belongings. I think Meesei has taught every one of us at some point. At least those of us that use magic. Meesei is...well, basically the most powerful lycan in all of Tamriel. Studied magic all her life. I think the only mage I have met that was perhaps more powerful was this vampire that was probably a thousand years old or something. If your father could ignore the fact that she is Argonian, he would probably like her."

Again, Ahnasha quickly turned her attention back to Fendros before taking a drink of her tea. "Although, I wouldn't think that it would be your birthsign alone that kept you from being a mage. You probably just didn't have that much of an interest. When I was learning magic, I remember reading that atronachs tended to be some of the most potent mages, especially when fighting magical opponents. Atronachs have much larger reserves of magicka than other mages of the same skill level, and of course, part of the energy from any spell that strikes you is absorbed into your own magicka reserves. I think it cuts the effects of spells essentially in half. I don't really understand how the stars a person was born under can affect someone in such an extreme way, but I know that volumes have been written trying to figure that out. I've always found birthsigns strange. I don't even think I have one, and if I do, I wouldn't know it. The atronach sign is probably the most...obvious."
