Indeed. Ahnasha would definitely want to find Meesei as soon as possible, and I think Fendros would agree.
This could get interesting.
Ahnasha went to gather up her clothes at the same time as Fendros did, but unlike him, she had to pick up her necklaces, bracelets, leather straps, fur pelts, bracers, and an assortment of other jewelry as well. She put on her loincloth and the leather straps and pelt that covered her chest, but just held the assortment of other items in her arms. She would deal with putting the rest on back at camp. "Agreed, some breakfast too. I wonder what the others got up to while we were gone? Just be ready to come up with some witty responses for what Lorag has to say, because he will say something.

Ahnasha walked over beside him and nudged him with her elbow. "If he gives you a hard time, just tell him I said you are better at it than he is." She said with a chuckle.
Meesei swam to shore, but just as she was climbing out of the water, she felt a sharp, intense pain coming from her tail. She jolted out of the water and fell on her back out of surprise. She quickly whipped her tail around in front of her only to see a young slaughterfish latched on to the end of it. Flicking her tail, she sent the creature flying. After it landed on the ground a few feet away, Meesei charged a lighting bolt in her hand and struck the little monster with it, more out of anger than anything else. Her tail was bleeding, but she was not seriously hurt, so she stood up and looked around to see if she knew where she was. Unfortunately, there was nothing in the area that she came even close to recognizing. This troubled her a good deal, as she had explored quite a large area around the camp, so that meant she had wandered far from their camp. She was at least by the river, so she reasoned she had probably followed it for quite a while for some strange reason. The question was, had she followed it upstream, or downstream?

Meesei sniffed the air a few times to see if she could pick up on the trail of her own scent, but it was at that point she recognized something that she had been too distracted to notice before. There was a rather foul, strange odor in the air, like a rotting corpse mixed with honey. She spent a few moments trying to find the source only to realize that it was herself. She smelled absolutely terrible, and evidently, the water had not washed it off. The scent overpowered her sense of smell, so it was difficult for her to track her own path.

"Great." Meesei mumbled, rubbing her head as she tried to think about what to do next.
Ahnasha had not expected Runt to show up, although she had not been nearly as startled by her as Fendros, since she saw her approach. She nodded and smiled to her in thanks for her cure, then turned her attention back to Fendros. The Dunmer seemed to be stressed by the situation, which was understandable, but she couldn't help but to wonder if she should feel offended or not. His biggest problem seemed to be the fact that she was Khajiit.

"Only if she has the ingredients to spare. Go ahead and drink up; it tastes terrible, but the effect is definitely worth it." Ahnasha said before quickly drinking her vial. "And I wouldn't be so suspicious about the possibility of a hybrid child. One's race in inherited from their mother, if you were unaware. My father actually was not Khajiit, he was a Bosmer. Like I said though, I will speak to Meesei about it. You shouldn't have to worry about having cubs of your own anytime soon."

Ahnasha moved to sit next to Fendros, then put a hand on his shoulder and looked at him sympathetically. "Come on, cheer up. Remember yesterday when we had that game of tag? I explained how no one out here is going to judge you for it? Well, that applies to drunken mating just as much as it does to children's games. Lorag will probably make jokes about it for a while, but no one is really going to care. Besides, its not like they haven't had encounters like this before. Not always drunk, but still, same thing. Well, other than Runt; she's too young."
I rather like the idea of investigations, especially if it requires something a bit more cerebral. And with it headed by Satori, Ssarak would probably take interest.
"Yeah, I wish I had something spare to wear, but, well I didn't really expect this to happen. It's a good thing our apartment is on the first floor. If we're lucky, we might be able to get to our room without anyone seeing us. I would rather not have to explain what happened." Sam commented, picking up his handgun from next to the beast, then heading back towards the car with Stevie. Fortunately, they had been close enough to the dogwood tree that Sam knew his way back to the car, so they would not be lost in the forest, though his phone had GPS, even if they were. As traumatic as their experience had been, he could not help but to be excited to spend time with his new girlfriend. Hopefully, they would be able to forget the terrors they experienced, although he doubted they would be heading out on any more hikes any time soon.

For a while, their walk back was peaceful. No more creatures bothered them and they were actually able to talk. There was a lot about the situation that did not make sense, but Sam was not thinking about those issues at the moment, as he was focused on Stevie. Slowly, however, something started to shift within Sam's mind. The scents and sounds of the small animals around them were...enticing. They excited the primal part of his mind that the infection had created, causing the urge to hunt to swell up within him. He did not understand what was going on at first, but by the time they were halfway back to the car, Sam had developed a splitting headache. At first he thought it might have had something to do with blood loss, but then the pain suddenly and violently spread to the rest of his body without warning. He fell to his knees, clutching his head and gritting his teeth. "Ahhh, what's happening to me?" He shouted in pain, not knowing that Stevie was going through the very same thing. The pain swelled up within him as his bones started to crack and reform. His muscles increased even further in size, along with the rest of his body. Fur began to form across his body, his snout lengthened, and a tail began to grow. He ripped out of his clothing as his size increased, the pain continuing until the transformation finally completed. As he let out a deafening roar, his ability to remember what was happening diminished.

Sam's memory of the events after the transformation consisted only of blurry images and faint ideas. He and Stevie, now in their wolf forms, had ran off in search of prey. They hunted together, though Sam could not recall what they killed. Eventually, with their beasts' satisfied, they stopped, transformed back into their normal forms, then passed once more into unconsciousness.
When Sam awoke, he found himself even more confused than before. As he sat up, he saw that it was dark, but strangely, he could see a lot better than he would have thought. Looking around, he immediately noticed that both he and Stevie, who was unconscious nearby, were naked, but with what had just happened to him, even that wasn't on the forefront of his mind. He had no idea where in the forest they were, and his memory of what happened after his transformation was spotty at best. He could, however, remember vividly the events leading up to the transformation. He remembered the pain of his body reshaping itself into its terrible new form. Although he was still greatly confused on what was going on or what they should do, there was one thing he could no longer deny: Stevie was right, they were now werewolves.

"S-Stevie, are you alright?" He asked, his tone fearful.
I think I'll have our character start walking back and get forced into their transformations in my next post. They probably would not have much memory of the first one, so I'll also do a timeskip having them wake up back in human form. You can post your character's perspective as well, of course.
Sam put his arms around Stevie once more, holding her close in an attempt to comfort her, as she certainly seemed afraid. He looked over her shoulder at the beast and shook his head. "No, there is no way that could be true. Werewolves are mythology, stories created by superstitious people during the middle ages. This is...well I still don't know what this is, but there's no way it could be some myth." He said, trying to rationalize the experience. Although he did not realize it consciously, the infection had already worked its way into his very being. He was too distracted to notice, but both he and Stevie had gained significant muscle mass, and their senses were much more acute. Unfortunately for them, it would not be long before the beasts within took hold and they underwent their first transformation.

"Maybe...maybe we should just get back to the car. Go home, get cleaned up, get a new change of clothes, and try to forget this ever happened. I really don't want to stay around that...thing any longer." He suggested, eying the rotting corpse.
"Oh thank you, you have no idea how much this means to me." Sam smiled, ecstatic at the amazing news Stevie had given her. For a moment, all of his worries and fears seemed to vanish as he reached up and hugged her around the neck, giving her a second, longer kiss. After a few moments of holding one another, Sam finally sat up and looked around, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "So, um, I guess we should try to figure out what on Earth is going on."

When he finally turned his attention to the body of the beast, he nearly lost his lunch. The creature was still there, but it had decayed to the point that nearly half of it was exposed skeleton. While Sam was not an expert on decomposition, even he recognized that this thing was decaying unnaturally quickly. He stood up, albeit reluctantly, as he did not want to let go of Stevie. "That thing is...disgusting. What is it, even? It almost looks like a werewolf or something." He observed.
Ahnasha stretched out her muscles and let out a deep sigh. "Calm down there. If my memory serves me correctly, I was just as complicit in the act as you. Nothing you can say or do now can change what happened, so there is no real point in worrying about it. I'll speak to Meesei as soon as I can. She can use her magic to temporarily reduce my...fertility, so there is nothing that is going to come of this. Just try to relax."

Ahnasha shrugged her shoulders. "Hey, on the bright side, I suppose you can at least say you enjoyed yourself." She said, trying to add some levity to the situation, though it did seem a bit forced. It would have been nice if she could have stopped herself from going through with it, as this probably was not the best way to introduce Fendros to the pack, but at least there was no real harm. Given the situation, no one was going to be angry with her over it, and it wasn't as if encounters such as this didn't happen occasionally between pack members. Perhaps her biggest regret was that Lorag was going to be able to hold this over her for months, if not longer.
