Ahnasha nodded. Most people knew that Khajiit culture was tied to the moons, but she supposed that only someone who specifically studied them would know about their influence on their morphology. "Yes, the ja'Kha'jay, the Lunar Lattice, is the primary determining factor in our eventual forms. I'm not sure if you would have learned of this, living so far from Anequina and Pelletine, but there are well over a dozen breeds of Khajiit, most of which are very different. I am a Suthay-raht, the most common type of Khajiit you will find outside of our homeland. Other Khajiit tend to either stay in the homeland, or return to it, as they are not as...easily accepted as we are. Some breeds are similar to myself, such as the Cathay and Cathay-raht, who only differ in that they are larger and stronger than Suthay. On the other hand, the Pahmar and Pahmar-raht are similar in appearance to tigers or sabercats, while the Alfiq and Alfiq-raht are similar to a common housecat, and could easily be mistaken for one. Those are just a few examples. The thing that determines a Khajiit's breed is not its parentage, but rather the phases of the moons near the time of the child's birth."
Ahnasha dispelled her bow after Fendros began taking his shots. He definitely needed training, and she would be giving it momentarily, but for the moment, she just wanted to talk to him, as they had not been able to speak privately about the situation yet. Being left alone with her thoughts certainly had not helped with her anxiety, so discussing it with him would be a welcome change. She took a seat on a nearby rock and let out a sigh.

"So...parents." She began, her uncertainty obvious in her voice. "I guess there is a lot we will need to figure out, a lot to decide on. It's good we have time, because I don't think either of us are ready right now. I cannot say I know what exactly happens when a Dunmer and Khajiit have a child. I mean, it will definitely be Khajiit; it's not like you're going to see any real resemblance of yourself in its face or anything, but there are a few traits that would have some influence. It might live a bit longer, or mature a bit slower. The second one could be a bit complicated, depending on the phases of the moons."
I managed to find the time to respond. Not too much, but it's something.
Ssarak Dyreackthanose
Annabeth did not have time to answer Ssarak's question before they arrived at Uicle's office, though it wasn't as if it was a particularly important one. Ssarak did not actually have any business with Uicle, and he did not know if the conversation between Annabeth and Uicle would be considered private, so he originally intended to wait outside. However, as the gargoyle ushered him inside, he was, for a moment, conflicted on what to do. Would it be rude to enter, or would it be rude to deny the gargoyle's instruction? Ssarak was filled with a disproportionally high level of anxiety, compared to the actual minor nature of the issue at hand. He did not have time to stand in the doorway and think, however, so he stepped inside at the behest of the gargoyle. One thing he immediately noticed that seemed strange to him was that Uicle was still wearing his armor. He had thought it was strange that the teacher wore his armor to the demonstrations the previous day, but the fact that he was wearing it in his own room seemed simply bizarre.

Annabeth already knew Uicle, so there was no part of the conversation with formal introductions. He wondered if he should introduce himself to the teacher, but Annabeth seemed to want to get right to business, so it did not seem to fit into the conversation. Instead, he simply remained silent, glancing down at the golem dog when it approached him.
Might as well keep it.

Eh... She didn't say anything. Now it's up to you. Let me put it this way though: She certainly wouldn't mind if Ssarak came along, and depending on how it goes with Uicle, you might get to raise a flag with Annabeth if you stayed. Otherwise my next post will have me position Cynn somewhere were I can get her and Annabeth to meet to start her route. If Ssarak leaves however, he may get a chance to interact with more characters and get to do more things, whatever is your fancy. I'd like it if Ssarak stayed, but he wouldn't have anything to do for a while until Annabeth and Uicle are done.

It would probably be easier if he stayed. After all, Rtron already said he was there. I am not in too much of a rush to post right now anyways, as I am trying to program this mobile app and it is giving me issues.

Well i guess I can't do it than.@commander if you want Ssarak to tag along you can, though the conversation is mostly going to be between annabeth and Uicle.

He would only do so if invited by Annabeth. Do I assume she offered him to join?
Ahnasha's spirit seemed to brighten as well with Janius' show of support, though it would still take more than a few kind words for her fears to completely diminish. Still, she supposed it wouldn't hurt for her to realize that the news wasn't all bad. Apparently, being a parent was meant to be a fulfilling experience, and for both her and Fendros' sake, she hoped that was true.

"I guess you're right. This is just an idea that is going to take a lot of time to get used to. I mean, I never intended to have cubs of my own." Ahnasha said, turning and looking to Fendros next to her with a bit of a smile. "And i certainly don't think you ever expected to have cubs at all. Honestly, I do not know anything about raising children; it was never something I needed to learn."

"I can help with that," Meesei responded, "I never had hatchlings of my own, but I do have experience raising them. In my village, the burden of caring for children was shared among the clan, much like our own pack. I do have some advice to share. This development will cause change for our pack, but it is nothing we cannot overcome. To that end, I should say that, for now at least, nothing has changed about what we are doing. We still have responsibilities to each other, and to Hircine. We will resume our training first thing tomorrow, Fendros."

Ahnasha nodded. "Of course. Actually, I think I will go for some archery practice after I eat, if you would like to join, Fendros."

"Good. Now, if you will excuse me, I am going to need to spend the next few hours trying to wash this stuff off of me." Meesei said before walking out of camp and toward the river.
Should I assume Annabeth invited Ssarak to join in the meeting? It seems like the conversation with Uicle would be more of a private conversation, so he would probably stay outside the office unless invited.
"Like I said, I have no idea. I just want to get it off." Meesei responded. It did not take long for the group to finally make it back to camp, as their pace was not restricted as it was before. Meesei stood by and waited for Sabine to prepare the troll fat, while the rest of the group sat down for some much-needed dinner. They had already spent most of the day searching for Meesei, and most of them had not eaten since breakfast. Meesei had not eaten at all, but she was more concerned with cleaning herself off than anything else.

As usual, Janius started a fire to cook up his meal, as well as one for Fendros, while Ahnasha and Lorag ate theirs raw. Janius and Lorag talked back and forth for a while, but Ahnasha and Fendros were, quite understandably, rather silent. Eventually, Lorag took notice of their odd behavior, or at least it was odd for Ahnasha. She could rarely bring herself to stay out of group conversations, so it was easy for Lorag to tell something was off. "Hey, what's wrong with you two? Haven't heard a word from you since we got back."

Meesei has just got a bowl of troll fat from Sabine when she heard Lorag's question. She stopped near the fire and looked over the group. Both Ahnasha and Fendros were obviously uncomfortable, and with good reason. It was an uncomfortable situation, and she understood if they did not know how to go about breaking the news. After a few moments of silent deliberation, Meesei decided to make it easy on them, and hoped they would see it as a favor. "Ahnasha is pregnant." Meesei explained simply, hoping that Ahnasha and Fendros wouldn't be offended.

Lorag shifted awkwardly. "Oh...huh." He said with some hesitation. It was truly rare to see Lorag in such a speechless state, but it seemed this was one of those moments.
