Ssarak Dyreackthanose
Ssarak was relieved that Satori had no objections to him bringing Alaira to the infirmary. Perhaps whatever she did to the Forest Elf was not intentional? Or perhaps she was simply skilled at obfuscating her intentions? Either way, Ssarak found a gargoyle and made his way to the infirmary as quickly as possible, which, admittedly, was rather slow given his fatigue. He explained to the healer present the events which led to her fall into unconsciousness, then took his leave and returned to his room to drop off his axe.

The gargoyles were, again, instrumental in helping him find Satori's classroom. Fortunately, he arrived not long after she began and was able to find a seat without disturbing anyone. For Ssarak, he actually learned little from the first lecture. His own, limited instruction from his clan had at least gone into the basic principles of his mageblood, but he knew well that she had much more to teach than what a single lecture could convey. He was dubious about the efficacy of the thin sheets of metal she passed out and had a hard time believing they could actually work. After all, if a common metal could block psychomantic attacks, then it would be useless against most soldiers in battle, as well as many other scenarios. There would be no reason for a mage to pursue Psychomancy over Noxomancy. Perhaps she simply wanted them to believe it would work? He simply packed it away and would likely end up forgetting about it. What he found more interesting, however, was the Investigation Team Satori mentioned. If he could gain an opportunity to help improve the safety and well-being of the college and its students, what reason would he have to refuse?

After class, Ssarak returned to his room, not quite wanting to sleep, but definitely needing to relax. He sat on his bed with his back against the wall, ruminating on the day's events. Given his current state, he would need to cancel his normal endurance training for the day, and he would be unable to practice his psychomancy until the next day at least. He would probably be unable to read another's mind intentionally at the moment, let alone accidentally. Honestly, about the only thing that remained for him to do was to have dinner.

This likely will be played out until the time skp, then skimmed over during the following months as to make the can of worms more manageable. :p

So...should I wait for the timeskip?

Alright, posted. Mar should be okay now, but now there's a new can of worms to deal with. I'm thinking at the minimum, Lucilia, Lidda, Tyrael, and Khan will be involved, as well as Ssarak, Mar, and Althalus. Lidda to help Lucilia keeping Mar stabilized, Tyrael's there because it's involing Mar, and Ssarak because he's the one who made this all possible. Expect Tyrael to be flipping his shit all over the place. Actually, maybe it would be better if he wasn't part of the initial conversation... We'll see how this plays out.

Alright, so I need to be doing something then. I don't actually know what, but something. I'll do a summary of what Ssarak did during the few hours in my next one, which would include taking Alaira to the infirmary, Free. I don't know where to take him for what you would want him for, though. Or why he would be there. Is someone going to request his presence?
What do I assume satori's reaction would be?
Ssarak did not immediately follow along with Satori, as Alaira seemed to be getting worse. She collapsed to the ground and screamed out in pain, something that certainly caused Ssarak to become afraid for her safety. What was going on, was Satori causing this? She had already caused a great deal of pain for the majority of the students at the college, himself included, so it did not seem outside of her character. Ssarak was beginning to see Satori as more unstable and dangerous seemingly every time she did anything.

Crouching down next to Alaira, he quickly looked over the Forest Elf and saw that, fortunately, she was still breathing, though obviously unconscious. He looked up at Satori as she walked away with a mix of confusion and distrust. Ultimately, he knew he was powerless to do anything she did not want him to do. Even if he was not completely exhausted, she was a master Psychomancer. Regardless, who would he be if he did not at least attempt to do the right thing?

"She seems to be unconscious. I cannot simply leave her here in good conscious." As Ssarak stood up, he picked Alaira up off of the ground, allowing his axe to rest between her and his arms, though he was careful to keep its sharp edges away from her. Between Alaira, her belongings, and his axe, Ssarak was lifting a good deal of weight, which was no easy task in his current state. Overall, it was fortunate that endurance training was a regular part of his daily routine. "Allow me to take her to the infirmary, then I will join you in your classroom. I need to return my axe to my own room, regardless."
I'll respond in a bit, after I am done with this thing for class.
To Ahnasha, it seemed like Fendros was saying everything she was thinking. This had been something she had been thinking about on many occasions over the past month, but even she had not been sure about it. At first, she thought that perhaps she was just gaining feelings for them purely because of the fact that he was the father of her future cub. Perhaps it just seemed natural that she would be in a mated pair with him, given the circumstances. As they spent more time together, however, that idea started to fade. She found herself genuinely wanting to spend time with him over the others at many times, though she did not quite know why. She could not tell what it was that was so spectacular about him, but there was...something. That, she could not deny.

Ahnasha almost decided to give him a kiss, but given the...nausea she had experienced only a few moments ago, she settled for an enthusiastic hug instead. "Who would have thought?" She commented, still keeping him in her embrace. "For my entire life, I never intended to become the mate of anyone, not in any kind of more permanent bonded pair...but I guess we're all wrong about some things. I may not know what's going to happen with all of this, but I'll be glad to have you at my side."

Over the next few hours, more and more people trickled in, growing the relatively small group into a genuine crowd. Kilith had certainly done his job. Sharee stopped bothering to introduce herself to every new arrival and instead just let them figure it out for themselves. It was quite a diverse bunch of people, consisting of all races, shapes, and sizes. There were the standard rogues with daggers, shortswords, or bows, much like Sharee. There were even a few in mage robes and some bigger, armored guys like Alvar. Some weren't armed at all and appeared to just be sailors who may or may not have any actual combat ability. It didn't matter; as long as they had enough fighters, the rest would be useful for keeping the ship operational.

As nighfall came nearer, Sharee decided it was time to officially start the meeting. No one new had showed up for almost half an hour, and she could see that Sarel had returned, so there was no more reason to delay. She climbed up on a rock large enough to put her above everyone else. It wasn't as if they were tightly packed enough that no one could see otherwise, but it called attention to her.

"Alright, shut up everyone, it's time to get this thing started. Now, before I get into the details, I want to give the basics of what each of you are getting into. What we are going to do is going to be illegal, it is going to be dangerous. The guards will try to kill you, and if they identify you, they will put a bounty on your head large enough that you'll never return to the city. But, as I'm sure you can imagine, the hazard pay for this will be...significant. Imagine a larger score than you've probably ever gotten, with double the average cut. If this does not appeal to you, if you don't want to get involved in this, then you are free to leave now. I won't do anything to you. I won't hunt you, I won't harm you, it will be the end of our business together. This will be the one and only chance to leave, because once you hear the details, there will be no backing out." She said, her tone at the end harsh and severe. She looked out across the crowd with an expression which showed that her words were, indeed, a threat.
Or type a post for Alaira to remain independent.
