You receive the quest from a Dunmer woman to rescue her husband. He was born into slavery in Morrowind, and therefore did not receive the same type of connection to the Hist as other Argonians. They consider souls like that to be broken, though not in the same way Sabine was. It was a bit different situation, but it is the same concept. Communing with the Hist involves giving them a direct connection with one's soul, so it is very reasonable they can be asked to help repair the soul.
"I am no longer in danger of dying. My wounds will heal in a day or two. You need not be concerned about me." Meesei answered. "What I am concerned about is your chances of success. Your plan seems sound, but it does not seem like something that will be easy to perform alone. You were raised in this coven, yes? So the foundations of all of your skills came from them. Unless you have managed to improve your skills exponentially more quickly than them, then it stands to reason that they have as much, if not more magical knowledge than you, as they were your teachers. Your plan has no backup, no contingencies. What will you do if you are compromised? I wish to stop the production of this gas, and if you wish to atone for your sins, then our goals are aligned. Besides...I just told Sabine here I would keep you alive."
Made a short post. Also, I had an idea for a potential goal involving Sabine. In ESO, there is a mission that involves using the Hist to help mend a broken soul. Another mission also shows that non-Argonians can commune with the Hist just as well as Argonians can. What would you think about that?
"Then so it shall be." Meesei said, giving Sabine a warm smile. Either choice Meesei would have respected, but she was glad Sabine did not hold anger in heart. This Breton, Ariel, could still be completely lying. She could be guilty, unrepentant, and just trying to survive, but that did not matter. The fact that Sabine could rid herself of well-justified hatred was pleasing. Meesei herself was completely open to offering her sister a chance at redemption, she simply preferred to keep healthy skepticism about her intentions. She would not be entirely convinced until Ariel's actions proved her case.

"The matter of this suppression gas is unsettling to me." Meesei said, moving on to the next order of business. "You say you know how to stop your former coven from producing it. How do you intend to do that? As you can imagine, we have an interest in stopping them. That gas was largely responsible for my own wounds, and those of my pack members."
Meesei listened carefully to her tale, her expression completely devoid of any emotion or reaction. She simply stared at the Breton while she spoke, examining every detail of the story. She was not certain on whether or not she should believe her, but she could not deny the possibility that she was being truthful. Sabine was not contradicting anything her sister said, though it could be that she could not remember. Meesei wanted her words to be true, as their implications were very much positive. It would mean greater insight into Sabine's past, and the state of her mind, which had never been normal through the entire time Meesei had known her. There were also other thoughts forming in Meesei's mind, though there was still more for them to deal with first.

"Assuming your words are true, then I would thank you for saving Sabine. The only time her lycanthropy has been a curse for her has been while she tortured by you and the coven. In all times since, it has given her the opportunity to join a family that, according to your description, has shown her the love and support she had never been able to receive before. It has given me the blessing of knowing such a sweet girl, who I am honored to have as a member of my pack. Your sacrifice has made that life possible, but that does not change your actions. Even if you did not like it, you knowingly tortured your own sister. Even the strongest of minds cannot hold forever against the torments of magic. You left her scarred, and could have broken her mind completely. You have attempted to atone for your crimes, but the effects of those crimes are still being felt today. You deserve a judgement, but whether that will come in the form of a punishment, or in forgiveness, is not mine to decide." Meesei said, turning her gaze to Sabine. "Her fate is in your hands, Sabine."
"Good, now step away from your belongings." Meesei said, looking around for a moment before pointing to a rock that was far enough away from anything dangerous. "Take a seat on that rock, then you can begin to explain yourself." She ordered before turning her attention to her friends. "You may lower your weapons, but be ready to attack if she tries anything."

The Breton obeyed and took her seat. The group circled around her, with Meesei moving to stand beside Sabine directly in front of the woman. Only Lorag remained where he was, though he was certainly paying close attention to what was going on. Meesei's movements were slow, and she stumbled on the way over. As much as she wished she could hide it, her weakened condition was obvious. Her body was in no state for any sort of strenuous activity, though her mind was perfectly healthy. "There are many lycans in Tamriel, so the odds of your sister being among them were slim, though I suppose it did happen. Perhaps fate is playing some role here, though to what end, we shall see. Sabine has told me of what you did to her. Locking her in a cage like an animal and torturing both her and her beast spirit in some attempt to rid her of her blessing. You scarred her in ways that are yet to heal, and indeed may never heal. What explanation do you have for the pain you wrought?"
Sharee waited and watched as each crew member came up and collected a potion from the bag. They all seemed to be following directions, which was nice. She saw one Nord in heavy armor stroll up and was about to reprimand him for not listening when he spoke up, indicating he was not approaching for a potion.

"Most of these East Empire sailors are soldiers as well. They'll be armed, and probably fighting us. If any of them are trying to get off the boat, it will probably be to retreat and regroup. Armed or not, you should kill them; we don't need to take any chances on this one." Sharee explained, her voice displaying no sympathy. Normally, she wouldn't care if the regular sailors got away, but the fact that there would be so many soldiers on board meant that it could be hard to tell which of them were dangerous or not, so the only logical choice, in her mind, was to simply kill them all. It wasn't as if she would lose any sleep over it.
The attack is just about to start. I'm just awaiting posts from people.
Meesei continued to scowl at the Breton, not entirely convinced by her words. She recognized that she could be truthful, but she wasn't just going to believe her words immediately. "You could be telling the truth...or you could be lying. One will say anything when on the verge of death. For now, I will not kill you. We can talk about this to get to the root of the situation, but I do not trust you. Sabine told me what you are capable of. Alchemy, magic, all dangerous tools. How do I know you still do not intend us harm? I cannot confiscate your magic, but I want you to disarm everything else. Weapons, pouches, bags, your robes, anything you have that could hide something threatening, I want you to take it and put it on the ground in front of you. Slowly, and carefully."

Meesei looked over to the collection of the hunters' supplies to her left across the room and spotted what she was looking for: an old, worn robe sitting atop a barrel. She reached out her hand and, with a bit of alteration magic, telekinetically grabbed the robe and pulled it towards them, dropping it in front of the Breton. "If you care about your modesty, you may wear that. Just do not attempt any trick or sleight of hand to hide anything dangerous. I am watching you, and I will know if you attempt any magic." She warned.
"Sabine, hold!" Meesei commanded as soon as she figured out what was going on. Even if Sabine didn't want to listen, her beast would bow to the commands of its Alpha. Meesei brought herself up from her bedroll, shakily standing to her feet. She still wore only the bandages which covered her wound, but she had made great progress since that morning. Her lycan regeneration had been negated by the silver wounds, but between her Argonian regeneration, Sabine's alchemy, and her own magic, her condition had improved enough that she was not in immediate danger of dying. She could still barely move around, but standing was within her capabilities. The others had awoken immediately as well, and each had about the same reaction. Ahnasha, now in her recently-cleaned clothing, had her bound bow aimed squarely at the intruder, Fendros and Janius threatened her with sword and axe, respectively. Lorag could not stand on his leg, and he had no ranged weapons, but he was able to pick up another rock.

Meesei glared at the Breton, her resemblance to Sabine leaving little question as to who she was. "You, Breton, drop anything you are holding and stand perfectly still. If you try to go anywhere, you will die. If your hands make a move for anything you will die. If I feel the faintest hint of magicka swell up within you, I will give the order, and you will die. Disobey any of these commands, and my companions will not hesitate to kill you." Meesei threatened. In addition, she charged a spell of detect life in her hand, just to make sure there were no more surprises.

"Now, you decided to sneak into this cave unannounced, assault my friend with magic, then surprised Sabine, who you have already tortured so thoroughly. Give me one good reason why you should not be dead. You have permission to speak." Meesei said, her tone commanding.
