Hmm, so would students at the college learn about the past? Not all the details or anything, but general knowledge?
Interesting. That does give me more insight into the lore. So there has been quite a bit of time pass since then. How common would the knowledge be that there was even a world before Tien. I mean, if there are demons whose souls were around then, and they remember it, then it seems like Demonmancers would be able to learn about it.
I still know so little of Tien's past, like how long it has been since then, or how common it is for people to know the extent of the world's past.
Upsah and Zaad are easy. However I really don't think any greek philosophers ever committed genocide. I mean, there was one whose teachings led to many deaths via a poor understanding of medicine, but still. Not direct genocide.
Ahnasha eyed the man suspiciously. She wanted to reiterate Fendros' "who are you?" question, but he did not seem keen on giving a clear answer for that one. His scent did not identify him as a lycan, though lycans were not the only ones who served Hircine. "I would not be so foolish as to consider an offer from our enemy. Such a 'solution' would almost invariably be a trap. Vile's deals aren't even fair to his own followers. I suppose you aren't directly going to tell us who you are, so I suppose my question is how do you know that Vile is going to make this offer, and when? To do such would require him to contact us."
Meesei hovered her hands above the thrall's torso, charging two deep violet orbs of conjuration energy. "I tried this once before, but now that I know..." She began, her voice trailing off as she released the energy. It behaved pretty much exactly as it had with Ariel, but this time, when the energy was about to collapse back in on itself, Meesei was able to hold out a hand and slowly push conjuration energy through the skeleton. At this point, the magicka bound to the thrall's body was widely unstable and moving seemingly at random, but Meesei seemed to know exactly what to do. Each time the magicka seemed like it was going to collapse back to normal, she manipulated the energy in exactly the right way to keep it unstable. Eventually, the energy from its skull to its toes was unstable enough that its very soul started to become unbound from its body. Meesei took in as much detail about its current state as she could in a few seconds, then all at once released her magic, allowing the thrall to return to normal, as if nothing had happened. There was still more work to be done, but she had caught a glimpse of the state required to unbind the skeleton's soul. "Now we have progress. I have to be careful, letting that go too far could kill the thrall, but if I repeat this enough, I may be able to create an enchantment to unbind their souls immediately."
You know, as I learn more about who Khan's demons are, I have to wonder if one is literally Hitler.
Frettzo said
The spot's still open.

Alright, just need to decide on Ssarak and Meirin, or Dirssi. I suppose I'll wait until Ryonara gets online. In the event that doesn't happen today, I'll write one for Dirssi.
Well, that took an hour to do, but I'm caught up. Frettzo, did you happen to have plans for anyone to come along and help Liam, or is that spot still open? Ssarak, Meirin, and a few guards could happen along them on their way to the dining hall. Or perhaps Dirssi? I still need to put her somewhere.
Ok, I have time now. Time to catch up in the IC.
Meesei nodded. "Of course." She said, returning to the skeleton. Just as before, she commanded it to lay down, then sat down beside it. Sitting in a meditative stance, she began to charge conjuration magic through it to reveal its energies. Glowing, violet tendrils of energy swirled around the thrall, which Meesei began to examine. "Now that I have better context to how it was created, some of my observations are starting to make more sense. My goal is to figure out a way to cause the magic binding it to unravel. Trouble is, it is bound rather tightly, in a manner of speaking. Reach out with your perceptions, can you feel its energies as well?"
Ahnasha smiled and gave a light chuckle. "Now, don't you turn into a priest on me. You start trying to travel to Boethia's plane, or help Mephala take over Tamriel or something, and I'm out." She looked up at the large, imposing statue of Boethia, then closed her eyes and shook her head slightly, still bearing a grin. "Ah, who am I kidding? I would still be right there by your side. I think I'm starting to understand, might not agree with it all, but I understand. I'm hardly in a position to judge, anyway. Aside from all that history and lore, this place is really rather impressive. These statues are immaculate. It's always the religious institutions that draw the best artists. That and militaries, for war memorials and such. Art is one of those things I can always seem to appreciate, no matter the culture who created it. The Khajiit have wonderfully intricate architecture and make some of the finest tapestries you'll ever see. The Imperials are known for their grandiose and imposing structures and statues. They are exceptional at portraying might and strength in their works. Before coming to Morrowind, I hadn't had the opportunity to see much from any other places, though. I remember Argonian jewelry passed through Leyawiin rather often. It was exquisite; I haven't seen any of more high quality since. I think all cultures do something really well, but I haven't had a chance to see what that is for the Dunmer yet. For all the time we've been here, we haven't had much of an opportunity."
