Ahnasha observed the crops curiously. Even if she didn't prefer meat, they were not the types of food she would think of as a first choice. Although, she supposed the crops they were growing did make sense for the area. They were all accustomed to ash, which was all-too common on Vvardenfell. Fendros' answer was about what she expected. Even through all of his time with them, he had still not truly grown accustomed to his beast spirit. He had not embraced it like the rest of the pack. Ahnasha hoped that time would change that attitude, as she did not believe he could be truly happy with his life otherwise. How could he be if he was always dreading the emergence of something so intertwined with himself? At least now it seemed that his opinion had turned a bit more positive, if only slightly. Now, it seemed that fear of hurting others was the main fear he had.

"Perhaps when I first gained the gift, but once I learned more about it, I became more confident. I understand my beast spirit now, I understand what it wants and what it needs. At its core, it is an animal, not some monster. It is no more evil than a wolf, or tiger, or any other predator. They all simply do what instinct drives them to do. I understand that, as long as I keep my beast spirit's hunger sated, it will not try to resist my will. For instance, normal predators, like wolves, commonly avoid people. We are far more dangerous than them, and not worth the risk to hunt. But, if a starving wolf comes upon a traveler, it may attack. It ignores the risk because it is desperate to survive. You would not consider the wolf a monster for such an act, as its only alternative is starvation. In the same way, your beast spirit becomes more desperate the longer it goes without hunting. Even if you are well-fed, your beast spirit has the need to hunt. The more desperate it becomes, the more willing it is to risk subverting your will." Ahnasha explained, hoping he would start to understand his beast spirit in the way she did. If he could view it as just another kind of creature, perhaps he could start to become more accepting of it.
I will write up a post moving Ssarak's group once Leon puts up his post.
"Alright. As long as we avoid the slums, I think we would be fine going anywhere in or around the city. From my experience in Leyawiin, at least, guards do not tend to patrol slums as often or as fervently, so criminals tend to be more bold." Ahnasha commented.

As they moved away from the crowds, Ahnasha was thinking on more they could do. There was one idea in particular which stood out, but unfortunately, it would not be a good idea to try it at the moment. "You know, there is one idea I had, but we will probably have to save it for later. I was just thinking, every time you have used your lycan form, it has always been for something serious. Every time I can think of has been for training, or hunting, or fighting. I consider all of those things pretty exciting, but they all carry with them some sort of expectation for performance, something to worry about. Have you ever transformed just to see what it has to offer? Just to see how fast you can run, how high you can jump, that sort of thing. The capabilities of that form are invigorating to say the least, as I'm sure you know. If it weren't for the fact that we might need to use that form later tonight, I would suggest making use of it. Perhaps some other time?" She asked.
"Hmm, yeah, I think it may be a bit early to plan for teenage rebellion when I haven't event started to show yet." Ahnasha mused. When Fendros asked about what she wanted to do next, she glanced over to him. "I think that is a question more appropriate for you. I did want to take you here so you could see the place, after all. It's a shame that Mephala intervened in the way she did, but the day isn't over yet. We could stay in the city and look for more of interest, or we could go out and take in the sights around the city. I know we're out in the wild all the time, but since entering Morrowind, we have usually been too caught up in hunting or traveling to sightsee." She suggested. They had not been in the city all that long, so she wasn't certain if he would want to leave so soon, but she wouldn't complain if he did.
I made a shorter post. I think most of the characters will be with Sharee. Everyone who cannot swim for whatever reason, like armor, will be on the docks.
Once the crowd settled and everyone who needed one had their potions, Sharee grabbed everyone's attention once more. "Alright, it looks like everyone is ready, so just a few more things before we start this. Anyone who is not going with me is going to be on the docks. Remember, don't group closely together to avoid arousing suspicion, and for Sithis' sake, don't all arrive at the docks at the exact same time. Just act inconspicuous until you see the signal. For all the combatants on the docks, that signal is when fighting breaks out on the ship. You go to the loading ramp and guard it. For all the noncombatants, you will wait until you see us lower the sails, then you will board as well. Just stand by and act surprised until then. Once all the non-combatants are on board, the rest of you can get on, then we set sail. Got it? Good. Now, everyone who is going to the docks, get a move on. You have thirty minutes before we jump into the water." She ordered motioning for the second group to hurry and get in their positions.
"I'm not going to be like my parents, if that's what you're wondering." Ahnasha answered quietly. "It will be born with the gift, so there will be no other option than to raise it as one of us. Being that we are going to be teaching it from birth, essentially, it will perhaps have an easier time with it than either of us. Children are great with learning, after all. I hope it will accept its life, I really do, but once it grows old enough, there will be little we can do if it does not. At the same time, our child really won't have a choice when it comes to the gift. Lycanthropy can be cured, technically, but such a thing is out of reach for most. I would even begin to know how to go about finding one, nor would I want to. I suppose if our child grew of age and was dead set on scouring Tamriel for a cure, I wouldn't stop it. That being said, I might not be so supportive if it started wanting to leave around, say, early adolescence. I'm pretty much expecting some sort of rebellion around that time. That is just how kids are." Ahnasha said with a smile before eating some of the snack Fendros had purchased. There was not too much of it, so she finished it rather quickly.
I think I'll post before going to bed
Ahnasha did not find the smell of cooked meat quite as appetizing as Fendros, but she followed along just the same. "Well, he is a very Imperial Bosmer. His name is Glarthael, and he was born in Valenwood, but he moved to Leyawiin at a very young age. He did tell me about some things of Bosmer culture, like the Green Pact, Y'ffre, descriptions of their cities, and that sort of thing, but he never really went into great detail. He didn't follow any of their customs, so I suppose they just did not matter to us...well, except one thing. Because of the Green Pact, the Bosmer cannot harm any kind of plant. As a result, they cannot use wood in construction, at least not in the way other races do. But, there is nothing in the Pact forbidding them from buying imported wood, so it carries a high price in Valenwood. My parents made quite a bit of gold exporting wood into Valenwood, even with the taxes the Dominion levied on the shipments. As for him as a person, I wouldn't call him the best father. He wasn't mean or abusive or anything, he was just...distant. It's not that he didn't care; actually, I think he believed himself to be a great and loving father, but he was always to caught up his his business ventures to see what I really thought about it. It didn't help that my older brother was enthusiastic about the whole merchant thing. He loved being my parents' apprentice, so I guess they just assumed I would like it as well. I think they thought I was just going through a rebellious phase, that I would grow to be a merchant just like them. I get that they wanted what they thought was best for me, but they really couldn't see that it was making me miserable. Still, I imagine they were devastated when I faked my death, as they did still care about me, but their life was not the one I wanted to live."
We should be fine with what we have. If someone else posts, I'll go to initiate the attack.
