It's more for show than protection, trying to scare opponents is more important than the protective portion, which is more or less reed mats and chunks of bone to lessen impact, any decent knife could easily cut through

Okay just making sure. Wouldn't be very cool if you had armor that could repel our weapons right out the gate.
In all fairness, it is made of reed and bone.

However such armor I would imagine would leave plenty of open spots where a stone knife or spear could penetrate.

I find it amusing that you meet what is probably the oddest race first, that of course being the Platta.

They're also almost complete opposites. But the whole meaning of white in their culture and the color of the Snow Brutes is an interesting dynamic.
@Nerevarine When exactly did your race invent armor?
@Aweirdgamer
A stone sword and a spear. That's all she had on her when she passed out.

It's funny, because someone told me something very similar to that five years ago.

What happened, you might ask?

My race committed genocide.

That's not very diplomatic.

Assuming you mean in the roleplay, what he said. If you mean otherwise, whoever picked to start in that area first.

You could also come to some sort of exchange or agreement. My race is going to have a cultural reason to expand all the way west to the end of the peninsula, which likely will bring them into conflict with the Snow Brutes.

I'm sure the Snow Brutes would love cat for breakfast.
@Nerevarine War would be the most obvious answer.
I will start feedback soon.
However it has come to my attention that no one can quite tell what my piece is about. I am happy with this out come. I will admit I know where I was going, and how everything connects. But I like to see it being interpeted in different ways.
Also, the length is due to the fact that I stumbled across this contest at 11 pm, the day before it was due And decided to write something quickly to submit.

They could always be doing it as a "means to an end".

Yeah, I thought about that too. Maybe an agreement of supplies in turn for attacking TSDC's competition but not touching TSDC. Until they are the last corporation on Mars, of course. I'll think about it. Would probably be a decent mini-plot line.
Good, just making sure there wasn't another case of "GM gone dead" :)

So... idle conversation... anyone else want to be a business dealer with TSDC?

Well considering your whole "funding underground resistance groups" I would be inclined to say that the FBM would love some of those supplies. However TSDC is a corporation and FBM wants them gone from Mars. So I'm a little torn, as I'm sure my faction would be.
