History/bio:

Born a vampire about an even 200 years ago, James spent a life of quarreling with his half brother George. Where James was fire, George was ice and the two just didn't mesh very well. Though he had never hated him, it was sibling quarreling at best and he made light of it throughout his life, often joking that they fought just like brothers ought to. The passive older brother followed him throughout his life, though he was never sure why, it gave him mild comfort. George was quiet and never commented on his habits and that was good for him, he got to do just about anything that he wanted to. Killing and gambling became his pastimes, just games for him to play when he was bored.

There was a lot of boredom and boredom ruled most of his actions. About the time of the Second World War, he made his way to the comfort of an English man's home. His constant companion George followed him, eager to escape the heavy feeling that war tended to leave in one's bones. It was then that he met her, a young woman with brown hair and a pretty, kind face. His goal was clear and immediate, he had to make her like him. The courting should have been cute, it should have made her swoon, he was gorgeous and extravagant, the fact that she hadn't wanted him to begin with might have been what motivated him to continue.

She was illusive, managing to dodge his advances, he didn't even know if she had been meaning to do it. At the chance, he decided to try to kiss her, it had the right to be a tender moment, she should have liked him by then but her rejection was swift. It was blunt and it made his ears ring and his vision fog for a moment. He felt anger, a blinding rage that overtook him. If he couldn't have what he wanted, then nobody could and so he twisted her hair and fed from her. The anger didn't last when her body hit the floor and panic set into his system, now his eyes just weren't fogging, they were getting damp. Had he really been so foolish to kill her? She couldn't very well do anything if she was dead- unless she could.

The decision was quick, a swift bite to his own wrist, pressed to her mouth. Feeding her his blood, she became something of a baby bird in his arms and his affection only seemed to grow stronger. Surely trapped within an eternity with him would change her mind and with that set, he took the trapped thing a little too seriously. George stayed with him, whether out of his own brand of boredom or whether he just didn't know what to do without his angry younger brother, George stayed with him. George made the right calls, spoke the right words and soon things were clear and she was his.

Waiting for her to wake hadn't seemed like it had been long, pacing, muttering, pacing, he watched the slow rise and fall of her breathing. Growing bored of waiting, he decided to bring her a gift and when he returned, she eagerly accepted it. He watched, pleased, as she drank from the man. He'd bashed the human over the head himself, it was like watching her bring herself back to life, he felt warm at the process.

So, she would wait there for the rest of eternity until she learned to love him.

Her anger was a flame, burning so high that he was sure it should have devoured him with it's ferocity. Nothing he ever did was right, she was ungrateful, he would have called her selfish if she wasn't so lovely. He taught her what he could in his limited space and she was a natural, good at everything and absolutely stunning, she had it all. Trying not to get starry eyed was hard but it didn't last long.

He returned home to her missing one day, yelling for her and checking every possible route throughout the house. She was gone, not a trace of the pretty brunette left in his home. Anger gripped him, made his nails dig into his hands as he came to his next sound conclusion. If she wanted to play a game, he was very good at games. He sought her brother out next, a fine young fellow and the next of his immortal brood. He made himself seem innocent enough and tracking her had been easy, he prided himself on being a good tracker. Their meeting was an exchange of his pleasant smiles and sharp edged words, her brother presented as the next in a long line of his gifts. An apology!

He was practically cooing at her like she was an infant, containing his laughter to more private moments. She looked shocked silly for a long moment and then angry, he nearly wanted to tell her not to strain herself, getting too angry was bad for the heart. Which was even funnier and the amusement was as livid as his fury that was soon to come.

They banded together soon after, too many vampires for even dear old him to take on. He backed off with his hands held in playful defeat, there had to be some way around their wall..... [WIP]

Soon finding himself in a quaint New England town, he knew he was on her trail again. Things were about to get interesting at best.

Name: Rebecca Waterson

Nickames/Alias/AKA: Bec

Age: 18

DOB: 11/4/96

Gender: Female

Hair Color: Blonde

Eyes: Sea green

Height and Weight: 5 foot 5, 140 lbs.

Occupation: Student

Race: Witch - Mortifero

Bio: The Watersons have lived in the Montaville/Tellmore area since the Revolutionary War, always using their power to help the local humans. Rebecca lived a fairly uneventful life until her tenth birthday, when her parents deemed her finally fit to start practicing magic herself. She took to magic like a duck to water, particularly necromancy.

At the age of twelve, she performed her first séance, calling up the spirit of her grandmother Molly, who'd died just days before she was born. The two had a long, amicable chat, and even today, they still speak once a week. When her supernatural friends ask her about it, she says that just because Molly's passed on is no reason not to talk to her.

Two months ago, Rebecca decided to try her first resurrection, attempting to bring back her pet turtle Shelly. She made the effort without any input from her parents, drawing the glyphs and performing the ritual herself. It failed miserably, and subsequent attempts at the feat have met with a similar lack of success. She's become hellbent on performing the feat, knowing that doing so would prove herself as a master of Mortifero magic.

Recently, she signed up as a freshman as Gringore. Part of it was to get better at magic in general, part of it was to try to learn what she was doing wrong with her reanimations, and part of it, to be honest, was to get away from her parents. After all, she is a teenager who wants to spread her wings.

Family:
Michael Waterson: Father, Naturalis witch, age 45
Sarah Waterson: Mother, Propheta witch, age 43
@TheIrishJJ Nope dorm rooms are the property of the school, so vampire can go in and out as they please.

When the whole Invitation thing does apply outside Gringore, vamps must be invited in by a person residing in the home. And once they are invited in, they can't be uninvited without the help of witch spells.

Vampires hearts don't beat, and they do not need to breath, but it feels extremely uncomfortable not to. So yeah that can stay under water but its not plesent.

The ideas for the vampires in this RP come from a big mix of books/movies/tv. I don't know Vladimir Todd. True blood, the vampire diaries, twilight, Buffy, Blood ties, and a few others are my inspiration.
@SomeoneSomewere Writing up a reply for Jack & Marceline convo. FYI she goes by Lennox, and has most likely instilled that in Ariel, if she ever called her otherwise.
@YahtzeeAmerica is a special place. Full of danger, and obesity. Depending on the season and what part of the country you live in, we've got: Earthquakes, tornadoes, shark attacks, blizzards, hurricanes, flooding, scorpions, and tsunamis.
@Narcotic Dollie I lived through hurricane Ike. No electricity for like two weeks, and no internet for like a month. Have Fun. Stay Safe.

Alice had been watching the mess of a conversation...or altercation since the kid named Aedan hit the wall. It was a miracle the librarians had not swooped in to lecture the students causing a ruckus. Roberta was working today, and the old bat was strict when it came to the 'quite and courteous' policy that is a library. Alice put the 'Clara Schumann' biography back on the shelf, and walked over to the three men. She had made it a point to know the vampires of Gringore, and Thomas was no exception. She had introduced herself to him at the beginning of the school year, and from what she read in his student file, he was in his 200s, and originated from England. Older then her by at least 110 years, she wondered if he was acquainted with any vamps of the British Stuart clan.

"I would advise you boys to take it outside. Cause killing anyone on school grounds is an automatic expulsion. So fighting should be done somewhere else." Alice said calmly. Even though she looked like a 20 something year old student, most people eventually knew she was a professor here. Making her voice sound authoritative was not her thing. She had been told multiple times that she sounded more like a gentle honey. "And Aeden, you should head to the infirmary. As you have learned there are vampires here, and some are...not very in control." She said kindly to him. By the smell of his blood, he was all human, so most likely an ESPer.

She smiled at them and went on her way, towards the other side of the library.
