Marcellus walked through the door of his room with more alcohol just in time to see the cage be dropped in the middle of his room. His eyes wandered to the dark haired young male in the cage. He was pretty for a human but that wasn't saying much.
"Well, aren't you a fine piece of meat," Marcel said in a sadistic voice before pulling out a metal chest out from under the bed. He opened to reveal all kinds of things from saws to acid. He poured a drink leaning on the table. "This is going to be fun. So, what do we do next? "

Addie heard the commotion and tried to do the best to stay calm. She tried to be as calm as possible but she was shaking profusely. The last thing she remembered was seeing her dead family and now she was in a cage with a bunch of other people. Addie didn't know what was going on but she was living her version of a horror movie.
As soon as one of the cages left, she let out a small shriek, her cage rattling with her shaking. She heard the the cage next to her say her name and Addie let out a deep breath she didn't know she was holding. "I'm Addie. Adelaide Bronwyn."@SouffleGirl123@Cherrywitch
@Emma what do you mean the pace of the ic? If you are born a vampire, you age normally until you're 15. Then you age one year every 25 years until 315 where you appear to be around 28 and you stop aging. Reproduction works only with your true mate regardless of gender. Halflings don't exist. Humans can be turned into vampires but it is very painful and changing lasts about a month. Vampires have to let a human drink their blood and the Vampire almost completely drains the human. The human will slowly change, their body feeling like sand paper with little to no blood in their system. They won't regain full consciousness for about two weeks until they fully die and awake in excruciating pain. They don't fully turn for another week and won't be able to keep down blood until then. By then, they are so painfully hungry most of them end up killing entire villages and end up getting killed within the last week of transformation. Draining a human completely of its blood completes the process. Back in the day, vampires were bitten until they figured out that reproduced vampires were stronger and more pure. The roleplay is set in modern times in the vampires maim castle in Wales. First born is taken and I'd have to look at my notes for the others but not very many are taken and humans and other vampires are available as well as the king and maybe queen. Hayes is a fit guy standing at 6'2". He usually has scruff going on and his hair fixed but disheveled. When he was little, he had 9 stitches in his left leg from a bike crash which left a pretty nasty scar. Hayes has three tattoos. The first tattoo is an anchor surrounded by roses on his right upper arm. The second is his deceased mother's name and her birth and death date on his left wrist. The third is a tree with fallen leaves that covers his whole back. He also has a small freckle on his arm that looks like a crab.
Hayes comes off very guarded due to his past. He interacts normally and seems like a really fun person until you start asking personal questions. Other than trying to dig into his personal life, he is very funny, a bit sarcastic and witty. There isn't a joke he hasn't quickly made as a comeback. The one thing you have to worry about with Hayes is he loves to procrastinate. He is a hard worker but if he has little interest in what you want him to do expect it to take forever.
Hayes loves to paint and it has always been his creative outlet. When something goes wrong or he just feels drained, he paints. There isn't much else he'd rather do than paint the day away. Of course, being an artist doesn't pay much so it stays a hobby.

Hayes grew up in a small house outside of Holland with his older siblings and his parents. He grew up with very little money and things were pretty rough and they only got rougher. When Hayes was 12, his mother passed of cancer. With his older brother, Damon being the golden child and his sister Elizabeth being the only girl, Hayes got the short end of the stick when it came to who their father took their rage out on. He didn't dare come out gay either. Hayes left his childhood home at 16 never looking back. He moved to Ann Arbor and started going by his middle name, working hard to put a roof over his head and support himself. He hasn't had much time for fun and he wants to leave the past behind him.

In highschool, everyone talked about not waiting to get out of Holland but as soon as Ian was out of college, he moved right back to work at the hospital. He currently lives in a cabin by the water with his cat, Jasper. He just got out of a really serious relationship with his college girlfriend and isn't sure if he'll ever be able to love like he did.
